'''Geometry Dash Cyclic''' (formerly '''Enlil''' and '''Cyclical''') is a very skilled Korean player and creator in Geometry Dash. He has beaten many hard demons,the most notably [[Cataclysm]], [[Ice Carbon Diablo X]], [[Necropolis]], and [[The Ultimate Phase]].

Cyclic deleted his YouTube Channel and ended his activity on 6 September 2015 because of some personal reasons and school. He has created his account again (but his past videos are deleted) so people would stop impersonating him. ([https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmltyMxwoZ3il9zyeZuocXw/feed]) On his former account, he said that he wouldn't come back. However, he had a change of heart and uploaded some videos that are not on YouTube. However some videos (e.g. Galatic Fragility) have not been uploaded because he does not have them. He has officially come back, but he will leave.

== Popular levels ==
* [[Invisible Clubstep]] - His first featured demon in Geometry Dash, an invisible version of Clubstep. (Not to be confused with the one created by an unnamed player) It was very easy before until 2016, it was made harder
* [[Invisible Clutterfunk]] - an invisible version of Clutterfunk, was rated 8 stars insane.
* [[Invisible Time Machie|Invisible Time Machine]] - an invisible version of Time Machine, was rated 6 stars harder.
* [[Ice Cream]] - his demon level, known for contaning very little decoration but considered as an insanely difficult demon, but was suddenly removed and reuploaded again.
* [[Invisible xStep]] - an invisible version of xStep, but was rated 6 stars harder rather than an insane.
* [[Sonic Wave]] - His [[Nine Circles]] remake, an extremely difficult demon and a near-impossible one. Was removed due to the accusations of hacking, was replaced by Back on Track remake.
* [[Lunar Intoxication]] - his moderately easy demon, which is his currently one of his levels with a custom song, and his latest level.

== Trivia ==
* He used a rabbit-themed texture pack created by Gelt. Link to the texture pack: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG5kUwFwFtY]
* Cyclic vs [[Riot ]]has been a subject of debate for a long time.
* Cyclic was the first player to complete [[Cataclysm ]]and [[The Ultimate Phase]] legitimately.
* Cyclic is the creator of [[Sonic Wave]], one of the hardest [[Nine Circles ]]type level in the game. After not being able to prove that he didn't hack to verify it, he replaced it with his Back on Track Remake. People had been arguing about Cyclic hacking [[Sonic Wave]] but there is still no true answer whether it is true or not.
* [[Riot]] said that Cyclic was hacked to verify [[Sonic Wave]]
* Cyclic announced on his channel he will officially leave the GD community after a 2.0 level of his is uploaded online. The level is still yet to be known.
* He used to use up button to play GD on his PC but now its broken so he is using spacebar instead (he said he doesn't have a mouse, on stream). Also, he said on youtube that spacebar suck for him
* Cyclic used to make his video descriptions merely say ".", but he no longer does this most of the time. One time, instead of putting ".", he put "qqftt" instead.
Later in the small bug fix Update 2.01, Robtop made an update to Deadlocked as well, fixing the bug where you could miss the 3x speed portal at the second wave.

==Description==
Deadlocked shows a variety of new [[Map Components|map components]]. Most notable are the green jump rings which reverses the character's gravity and adds momentum. This is the equivalent of hitting the blue and yellow jump ring at the same time or hitting a yellow ring in a blue or yellow gravity portal. It also introduces teleportation [[Portals|portals]]. These portals instantly move the player from one point to the other, regarding the space between them. Teleportation portals also keep momentum. There are also moving blocks, which were introduced in the previous level. The most attractive part of the level is at the second UFO sequence, when monsters appear, shooting lasers, which is similar to the laser parts in the popular mobile game ''Jetpack Joyride''.
==Secret Coins==
*The first secret coin is unique compared to others, as it requires a key before it can be acquired. In the first ship sequence, a key is placed high up above the moving squares at 19%. Once successfully retrieved, it opens an area later in the level, in a cube sequence which allows the player to grab the coin at 43%. Failure to retrieve the key will keep this passage blocked and the player will be forced to take the normal route situated below it.
**However, you can brush past the key, and still be able to get the secret coin.
**A similar mechanic is used to get the first secret coin in [[Airborne Robots]] and [[Viking Arena]]. However, the key is located in a cube section.
*The second secret coin appears at 52% during the second Robot sequence. There will be a two-block wide pillar sticking out from the ground. Instead of flying to the top of the pillar, you must drop down and jump shortly after to collect the coin. To return to the normal path, you must jump on top of an invisible block. This is considered slightly easier than the normal path.
*The final secret coin appears exactly at two-thirds of the level (66%) During the second UFO sequence, there are monsters shooting lasers at the player. Before the first laser is fired, try to get close to the top. There will be a spinning blade; tap twice quickly or just tap once because you don't want to crash into the ceiling, wait a second and tap again and the coin will be acquired. If you do tap twice to start, get right in front of the laser and tap twice the millisecond before it is fired. Try to get down quickly as there will be another round of lasers fired shortly after.

== Walkthrough ==
[[File:Geometry Dash - Deadlocked|thumb|center|260px]]

==Trivia==
*This is the first demon to contain a dual portal.
**This is also the second level to contain a dual wave, the first being [[Blast Processing]].
*Both of the icons obtained from this level have reference to super heroes (Iron Man, Wolverine).
**Coincedentally, both of these superheros are Marvel superheros.
*This is the first and currently only official level to award 15 stars upon completion.
*This level has the earliest size portal, appearing at 2%. It also has the earliest form portal, at 2% as well.
**It also has the shortest mini-size segment, with the first wave (mini) lasting only 0.75 seconds long.
*Deadlocked is the only official level that features all speed portals.
**Deadlocked is the first official level that uses the slow speed portal 3 times (used in the mini ball part, mini wave part and the last ball part).
*Deadlocked is the first official level to '''intentionally''' introduce the upside-down wave.
**However, in [[Blast Processing]], after the first ball segment, the blue deactivation gravity portal on the wave may be skipped if you hold right before entering the portal, thus making the wave travel in anti-gravity. Also, there is a small chance at the end of the dual wave section at around 53%, that the anti-gravity copy of the wave will enter the blue dual deactivation before the real one. Thus, Blast Processing is technically the first level to have an anti-gravity wave.
**Also, it is possible to jump on the yellow pad en route the first secret coin in [[Geometrical Dominator]], causing you to miss the blue pad. You will play the ship and the wave in antigravity.
***Both of these routes are detrimental, as it would be much harder to complete the cube segment after the wave segments. In [[Geometrical Dominator]] , this becomes impossible. However, the 2 errors in [[Blast Processing]] cancel each other out.
**Thus, Deadlocked is the third level that the upside-down wave is possible.
*The platforms in the first cube section seem to light up whenever the player "contacts" it, activated by "Pulse" triggers. However, if the cube passes it without landing on the platform, it will still light up because the triggers are not touch triggered.
*At the beginning of the first ball sequence, there are two blocks, one with a blue glow and a check-mark above it, and another with an orange glow and an X above it. These mark which platforms are safe and which are fake (a monster appears and crashes the ball if you try to land on it). This can be created if you place touch triggered moving monsters on the top of the map.
*Deadlocked has the shortest distance between the first and third secret coin of any official level, with only a 23% difference.
*This level has the second earliest third secret coin at 66% and its beaten by xStep at 59%.
**Oddly, this has the fifth latest first secret coin.
*Deadlocked is the second level to feature a triple speed portal. The first was [[Electrodynamix]].
**It is also the first level to have multiple triple speed portals (four in total).
*This is the second level that does not have a coin in any of its ship sequences. The first was [[Electrodynamix]] .
**However, the key to access the first coin is collected in a ship sequence.
*This level, [[Viking Arena]] and [[Airborne Robots]] all have keys by a means of collecting a secret coin.
*This level also makes an interesting use of moving objects and monsters to create "enemies" in the second UFO part. The monsters appear to follow the player from in front, shooting "lasers" from their mouths that the player must avoid. This is similar to the lasers in the game ''Jetpack Joyride.''
**''''[[Viking Arena]] does something similar to this at the final cube segment, however unlike Deadlocked the monsters are chasing you from behind and are not shooting lasers.
* It takes 1:40 to complete the level.
*This is one of the three levels that do not touch the ground after the beginning, the other two are [[Hexagon Force]] and [[Geometrical Dominator]].
*This is the first level where the ground color only changes once. The ground stays black after the first wave sequence.
*This is the only level after [[Theory of Everything]] that does not contain purple rings.
*This level has the most portals as well as form changes in an official level.
**This level also uses every portal available except for the mirror portal.
*It is the first level to use the mini cube form since [[Clubstep]].
**However, in [[Theory of Everything 2]], it is possible to use a shortcut at 83% to become a mini cube. However, this will result in a crash.
*Deadlocked is the only level to feature a triple-speed wave and triple-speed UFO.
**This means every form has been explored in triple-speed in an official level except for the robot form.
*It is the first level to have multiple mini wave sections.
*It has 3 wave portals, the most out of any level, along with [[Theory of Everything 2]] .
*This level and [[Geometrical Dominator]] are the only two levels to award robots when completed.
*This is the only level with invisible portals.
**The 6th mini and normal size portal, the 2nd UFO portal, and the 2nd triple-speed portal are all invisible.
***Strangely, these portals are all reached by teleporters.
*This level, [[Blast Processing]] and in most cases [[Electroman Adventures]] are the three non-meltdown levels that do we're not introduced in 1.0 to end off as form, manipulation and speed the exact same as the start.

== Errors ==
===Decorational Errors===
*In the second cube section at around 6% to the bottom-left of the orange teleportation portal, the edge of a diagonal spike is missing.
*When you crash at the last green jump ring at the second cube sequence at 12%, you can see that the top areas to the left and right are unfilled.
*In the final ball segment at 88%, single swirls can be seen at the top and bottom of the level. But in the middle of the ball sequence at the top, two of these swirls can be seen overlapping each other. This may or may not be intended.
**One of the swirls was also replaced with a pad, although this was meant to kill the player, and hence the player must jump over it.

===Structural Errors===
*At the first cube sequence at 1%, if you hit the second blue ring late, you can skip the yellow jump pad and jump up from the very edge of the platform and continue safely. However, this will require precise timing.
**You may also hit the second blue ring too late and crash into the thorns after the platform.
*At the first wave segment at 2%, if timed correctly one may go through the bottom wall, as seen [https://everyplay.com/videos/21026726 here].
*At the second cube sequence at 3% you can go on the third anti-gravity jump ring (the first right after the mini wave) and continue normally.
* At the second cube sequence at 8%, you can jump over a gravity pad instead of hitting it and continue the level by hitting the next gravity ring.
*At the second cube segment at 9%, by jumping into the teleportation portal late it is possible to hit the yellow jump ring marked with an 'X' and not crash.
* At the first ship segment at 19%, it is possible to collect the first secret coin without the key, as shown [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uw95QzUTa8 here]. This can be done by going slightly under or over the key, so close to it that the path with the coin will be accessible.
** This happens because the key has a smaller hitbox than the trigger that opens the route to the secret coin, so the toggle object is triggered without actually getting the key.
* At the first ball segment at 21%, if you hit the first blue orb late, you will skip the move triggers and the next platform will not appear, which will result in a crash.
* At the first ball segment at 22%, hitting the green jump ring too early will oddly cause the player to shoot to the ground instead of jumping to the next platform.
* At the first ball segment at 22%, hitting the green jump ring too late will cause the player to go too close to the following orange platform, activating the first monster trap, but not killing the player; [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw5B-RrLeWE Video].
* At the first ball segment at 24%, if you hit the last green jump ring late, you will avoid a gravity portal and do the first part of the next mini-ufo segment upside-down.
* At 30%, hitting the green jump ring late into the teleportation portal may cause the player to crash.
* At the first robot segment at 33%, you can skip a gravity portal and a teleportation portal by jumping further through the set of spikes.
* At the beginning of the second ball segment at 35%, it is possible to flip gravity right before the yellow jump pad and hit the roof. Flip gravity again and hit the next blue jump ring and you can continue safely.
* at the mini ball segment at 37%, it is possible to skip a green ring and a teleportation portal if timed correctly, which can be seen [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlTmwNudC50 here].
** In 2.01, this exploit became much harder to complete, however it is still possible to complete the exploit.
* At the mini ball segment at 37%, hitting the green jump ring into the teleportation portal early will make you crash on the blocky spikes that line the roof after you teleport.
* At the fourth cube segment at 44%, it is possible to hit the first gravity ring (which you are supposed to avoid) and survive by landing on the edge of the pillar and jumping, despite the pillar having spikes on it.
** In 2.01, this exploit became much harder to complete, as they added smaller spikes on the platform, however it is still possible to complete the exploit.
* At the first mini cube sequence at 46%, if you jump over the gravity ring and continue jumping over the sawblade, you could fall towards the orange teleportation portal, hit a jump pad hidden in the portal and continue as normal.
* At the second robot segment at 52%, after falling down from the pillar into the secret area as normal, instead of making a small jump to reach the coin, make a large jump and avoid the green jump ring. If timed correctly, can enter an overhanging pillar (with torches on both sides), as it is hollow. You can carefully jump off this pillar by jumping over two sawblades and continue normally.
**It is also possible to get the second secret coin by hitting the green jump ring late. However, you will crash if you collect the coin, as you will pass the overhanging pillar and hit a sawblade.
**Sometimes, making a very small jump on the normal path before hitting the green orb will cause the player to fall to the secret coin and land safely. However, the invisible block that guides the player back to the main path would not be triggered, so a much larger jump must be performed.
*At the second robot segment at 54%, it is possible to make a large jump through a set of spikes and skip a green and blue jump ring.
*At the third ship segment at 80%, you are able to glide across a certain group of thorns that line the roof of this section and not die (as if they aren't even there), making you able to continue the level normally.

===Patched Errors===
* Just before the second wave segment at 12%, if you hit the last green ring before the wave portal a bit late and hold your jump key, you might be able to play the sequence at a normal speed than a triple speed and the music will be out of sync and in front by 4 measures.
** This was fixed in update 2.01, with the portals made bigger and sawblades placed at the start of the segment.
** Similar errors are found in [[Theory of Everything 2]] and [[Hexagon Force]], although these erroneous paths were detrimental, where as Deadlocked's error was beneficial.
** Also, if timed correctly, hitting the second last green orb in the first cube part and missing the last green orb would allow the player to slide up an upper slope in antigravity in cube form and go through the wave segment, but you will crash against the lower slope when you reach the antigravity portal, as seen [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tIVDxVvqZY here]. However, if you make a series of perfectly timed jumps, you may be able to continue the wave segment as a cube and then continue the level normally. Jumping early and hitting all the gravity portals will allow the player to survive and head straight to the normal ship sequence. However, this will shatter the synchronization of the music.

* At the first ball segment, it was possible to slip under the ball portal and remain as a mini ship.
** If you survive through the ball sequence, it was also possible to go through the UFO sequence as a mini ship too.
***This was fixed in update 2.01.
*If you notice, the second orange teleportation portal at 9% has a yellow jump pad peeking on the left of it. This is use to initiate a jump to reach the next orb.
** Update 2.01 fixed it so that the jump pad isn't shown.
'''Geometry Dash Zobros''' is a popular 17-year-old Finnish Geometry Dash player, creator, and Youtuber popular with fans. He is known for completing demon levels and making really hard levels, one of which includes one of the most popular levels in all of Geometry Dash, [[Nine Circles]].

== Levels ==
===1.8===
*Atlas v2 (his first level, which is a remake of [[Atlas]] by [[FunnyGame]].).
===1.9===
* [[Nine Circles]] (his most famous level, also his first original level.).
* [[Acropolis]] (his 2nd level, also his hardest level, close to [[Necropolis]] difficulty.)
* [[Forsaken Neon]] (a collab with [[TriAxis]].).
* [[Swing Squad]] (a collab with [[GironDavid]], Orion and Havok.)
* [[8o ]] (a collab with [[Etzer]].).
* [[Ultimate Demon Mix]] (his last 1.9 level. It is a mix of 10 popular 1.9 demons).
===2.0===
* [[Well Then]], a seemingly backwards version of Stereo Madness.
* [[Luminium]] (his first 2.0 demon level).

== Trivia ==
*Zobros always labels in his videos how hard the demons he plays are compared to other demons, such as "Easy Demon", "Medium Demon", "Insane Demon" and so on.
*Zobros announced on June 8 that he had [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenosynovitis tenosynovitis] which affected his ability to play, but in two weeks time he had returned to the game.
==Description==
Electroman Adventures introduces transparent sawblades, breakable blocks, ice-themed spikes, and fake spikes. It also introduces a new kind of block and platform.

The level starts with a fairly simple cube sequence, but with a lot more decorations than previous levels. Also, a major change is that jump rings are now surrounded by spinning blade-like objects. These are not real, you can still use the jump rings. Make sure you follow the arrows and do not over jump in the first cube part.

After the cube sequence, there is a short mini-ship portion which ends with a narrow passageway somewhat tricky to navigate.

The next sequence is in mini-cube form. There will be many jump pads, giving the player a slight break from tapping. Shortly, after a few spikes (now styled to look like ice), the player goes into ball form (regular size) for a short while.

After a few blue jump rings in ball form, there is a mirrored cube sequence which also has an anti-gravity portion. This requires some care.

The player then goes out of the mirror to do a short UFO sequence which features many spiky blocks and then a ship sequence as well.

Then there is another mirror section and the player turns into mini-UFO form to do a short sequence.

Finally, the player exits the mirror for the last time (unless they use the design error and slip under a portal), and then goes into mini-ship form for a short sequence. Then, the player switches into mini-cube form for a fairly tough sequence which also has antigravity. This is followed by an intense mini-ball section which requires more tapping than previous levels. Finally, the level finishes in cube form with a few blue jump rings and then some jumps.

==Secret Coins==
*The first [[Secret Coins|secret coin]] is located at 12%, right before the first ship sequence. When there are 3 pillars of breakable blocks, instead of hitting the two jump rings, jumping up once and dropping, hit the two jump rings and jump 4 times. Hit another yellow jump ring and collect the coin. Make sure you don't jump immediately after collecting the coin or you will hit a spike. Go through the breakable blocks and hit the pink jump ring to enter the first ship sequence. Very rarely, the top block will not be destroyed and you will crash on the spikes on the wall.
**On the way to obtaining the first coin, it is possible to miss the jump ring, and go to the normal route. A similar route is found in [[Stereo Madness]], on the way to the second coin.
*The second secret coin is at 19%, during the first mini-ship sequence. There will be an obstacle with spikes on its sides after the sixth "pillar" of saw blades. Carefully fly through the area where there are fake spikes. Grab the coin and exit through the other side. It is possible to fly over the coin.
*The third secret coin is at 91%, during the mini-ball sequence. Just like the other coins there are fake spikes, go through them and change gravity rapidly to avoid the incoming spikes, and once you have avoided all the spikes change gravity once again to make sure you don't crash at the top. Don't tap too fast or you will hit a spike.

==Trivia==
*The title "Electroman Adventures" is 1 character too long if it were to be used as a [[Custom Levels|custom level]] title. This also happens with the name "[[Theory of Everything 2]]", which is 2 characters too long, and [[Geometrical Dominator]], which is also 1 character too long.
*On the [[Update 1.6]] trailer, the beginning section had a slightly different layout. There were also no breakable blocks.
*Along with [[Clutterfunk]], Electroman Adventures unlocks a ship when completed in normal mode.
* All of the secret coins use fake spikes in the pathways of getting them.
*It takes 1:28 to complete the level.
*This level was originally rated "Harder", but the difficulty was changed to "Insane" in [[Update 1.7]]; this is the only level that had its difficulty changed in an update outside of Update 1.9, and also the only one to have its difficulty increased.
*Before the song ends, you can hear a voice saying "''3!''", this is because the full song goes "''3, 2, 1!''" [http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/479319].
*If you go above or below the last ship portal, you have reversed the end and your icon does not change into a ship, but remains as a UFO.
*The first 12 levels all have increasing numbers of stars as a reward. This level breaks the trend with only 10 stars. However, Clubstep has 14 stars right after Electroman Adventures.
*This level has the earliest 2nd coin of any level, appearing at 19%.
**This level also has the closest place between two coins, with the second coin appearing in the ship right after the first coin.
*This level, Cycles, Theory of Everything, and Theory of Everything 2 are the only levels that continue playing music after completion.

== Errors ==
*The level has an error at about 11% at the first coin, you can avoid the yellow jump ring, and drop slightly but glitch back up before dying, although the size of the saw before the first coin makes this error end in a crash either way. You actually do have a small chance of hitting the jump orb before crashing.
*During the 2nd UFO segment (mini form), the player can slide under the portal to not only avoid the ship portal, but avoid the mirror portal as well.
*Before the first mini UFO part, if you jump late, it is possible to skip the normal speed portal and continue the level as normal, however if you manage to get past the UFO section, the music will be out of sync. [[Theory of Everything 2]], [[Geometrical Dominator]], and [[Deadlocked]] have a similar error.
'''Deadlocked''' is the twentieth official level of ''[[Geometry Dash]]'' and the third level to be rated Demon. It can be unlocked by collecting 30 [[Secret Coins|secret coins]] and is the first level to have a reward of more than 14 stars, with 15 stars as a reward.

==Description==
Deadlocked shows a variety of new [[Map Components|map components]]. Most notable are the green rings which gradually revolve the character's gravity and add momentum. This is the equivalent of hitting the blue and yellow jump ring at the same time or hitting a yellow ring in a blue or yellow gravity portal. It also showcased the teleportation portals, in which you enter a blue teleportation portal you exit through an orange teleportation portal.
==Secret Coins==
*The first secret coin is unique compared to others, as it requires a key before it can be accessed. In the first ship, a key is placed high up above the moving blocks, successfully retrieving it opens an area in the fourth cube which allows the play to grab the coin. Failure to retrieve the key will keep this passage blocked and the player will be forced to take an alternate route.
*The second secret coin appears during the second Robot sequence. There will be a two-block wide pillar sticking out from the ground. Instead of flying to the top of the pillar, you must drop down and jump shortly after to collect the coin. To return to the normal path, you must jump on top of a disappearing block.
*The final secret coin appears during the second UFO sequence, where monsters are shooting lasers at you. After the first laser is fired, try to get close to the top. There will be a saw blade, and above it is the secret coin. Try to get down quickly as there will be another laser fired shortly after.

==Trivia==
*This level showcased the infinite color channels, activating beneath and above the green jump rings, and whenever the player landed on a platform.
*Deadlocked is the second level to feature a triple speed portal. The first was [[Electrodynamix]].
*Deadlocked has the earliest [[Forms|form]] change, changing to a mini wave within the first seconds of the level.
**It also has the shortest segment of a certain form, with the mini wave only lasting around three-fourths of a second.
*[[Robert Topala|RobTop]] confirmed Deadlocked to be Demon on June 7, 2015 in a [http://pastebin.com/0jvJCN8T shoutbox conversation] and a 30 (originally 40) coins lock on August 20, 2015 in response to a few questions in [http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=3647158#post3647158 TouchArcade.]
*In the first ship part, a blue key is found, which opens a passage later in the level that contains a secret coin.
*This is the second level without a secret coin in a ship section. The other is Electrodynamix.
*This is the first original level to give 15 stars upon its completion.
*It is the first original Level that use all speed portals.

==Walkthrough==
[[File:Geometry Dash - "Deadlocked" 100% Complete -All Coins-|none|thumb|330x330px]]

== Errors ==
* At the second Wave/Dart segment, if you hit the last green ring before the Wave Portal a bit late and hold your jump key, you might be able to play the sequence at a normal speed than a triple speed and the music will be out of sync. A similar error is found in [[Theory of Everything 2]].
* There are some decoration errors in the first cube segment.
* Just before the first wave segment, the music is slightly off.
* If you notice, the second orange portal has a yellow jump pad peeking on the left of it.
* At 9%, if timed correctly, after going through the teleport portal, it is possible to hit the yellow jump pad before touching the gravity portal, therefore causing a crash.
* During the second ball segment, at 37%, you are able to skip a teleport portal and a green ring if timed right.
* At the first ball segment, it is possible to slip under the ball portal and remain as a mini ship.
* At the first teleport portal set after the first secret coin location, it is possible to hit the first gravity ring and survive by landing on the edge of the pillar.
* Around the second secret coin area, RobTop has left an "alternative route". After falling down from the pillar into the secret area as normal, instead of making a small jump to reach the coin, make a large jump, but don't touch the green orb. If timed correctly, you will realize that you can enter a overhanging pillar (with fire on both sides), as it is hollow. You can jump off this pillar and continue normally, although this won't do anything.
**The ship ascends and descends faster and at steeper angles.
**The ball gains vertical movement speed.
**The UFO loses jumping height and begins to descend quicker
**The wave makes moves faster and at steeper angles than before.
*'''Dual portal:''' The antigravity copy is an invert of the icon's colour scheme. Also, the vertical grid is locked to certain ranges.
*'''Cube form:''' If the cube falls above the 60 units in antigravity mode, it will result in a crash.
*Players still have the ability to use jump rings in the forms.
*Gravity and mirror options are not available for initial configuration in the Level Editor.
*The slow speed portal was formally introduced in Hexagon Force ([[Update 1.8]]), despite actually being introduced in [[Update 1.7]], selectable in the Level Editor.

==Introduction==

On June 30, 2014, [[Robert Topala]] posted a sneak peek image on Twitter, reading ''Can You Guess the Next Song?'' The image also displayed pictures of a water drop, flame, and a hexagon. Topala referred to the popular video game music composer on YouTube, Waterflame, who had published the tune, Hexagon Force, on March 1, 2014.

==Description==

Hexagon Force begins with a brief cube scene, followed by a speed [[Portals|portal]] and rocket portal. Subsequently, the icon turns into a [[Forms|gravity ball]], and the player makes first contact with the new blocks having diagonal surfaces. Later on, Hexagon Force introduces the brand new copy portals, which "clones" the icon with reversed colors. With the copy portal in action, the player is then forced to maneuver using the rocket. Throughout the level, multiple copy portals are included, and the icon transforms into every object in the game. Hexagon Force is also the first official level to introduce the slow and normal speed [[portals]], which are shown along some rocket scenes. Hexagon Force also features every portal on 1.8 except Mirror Portals and the pink 3x speed portal.

==Rewards==
Completing the level without flaws in practice mode will unlock the dark grey primary color and the achievement ''Hexagonest''. If the player is capable of winning on normal mode, they would earn the achievement ''Hexagon Force!'' Flawlessly finishing the level would take under 1 minutes and 40 seconds.

== Secret Coin Location ==
* The first secret coin is located at the first ball sequence. After you flip and land into flat forms, upon encountering a short ramp, flip gravity to get the secret coin and touching a yellow jump pad. Alternatively, you can get the coin by tapping to go up onto the platform and immediately go down. However, you need to be close enough to get the coin.
* The second secret coin is located at the double speed ship sequence. After avoiding spikes and saws, and upon encountering a slope with an opening, immediately go through there to get it.
* The final secret coin is located at the final half-speed ship sequence. Upon finishing the level, you will encounter a large obstacle with an opening in it. Carefully fly through it to get the secret coin and in the same time, finishing the level.

==Clearing the dual sections==
The introduction of the copy portal brings yet another challenge to increasingly difficult levels. It is almost always overwhelming when first encountered, but like all things, can be beaten once properly understood. What is especially important to know is that ''practice makes perfect, ''and coincidentally, there is a practice mode which provides the opportunity to make it perfect, all down to experience. Take advantage of practice mode to correctly learn the maneuvers. Another incredibly useful tip is to ''focus on only one icon''. Trying to track two things at once is already harder than what the level really is. Determine at which points movements occur in order to efficiently control both icons.
==='''Cube section'''===
The dual cube section is divided into two segments. Three successive jumps from the first lower spikes with a pause, followed by another three jumps clears the first segment. When launched into the second segment, begin with two synchronized jumps on jump rings. Next, direct attention to the lower cube, and jump when aligned with the indicator arrow and once more from the jump ring. Immediately direct attention to the upper cube and do the same, keeping accurate to the position of the second arrow. This can be particularly difficult to time correctly, so remember to practice to improve understanding. ''Four jumps from the first arrow.'' This completes the cube sequence.
==='''First ship section'''===
Never try to focus on both ships. They are normally symmetrically aligned and therefore focusing on one will safely navigate the other. From the dual cube section, quickly hold down to send each ship towards the sides of the map before they are directed to the center, and remain there to avoid the spiked walls. Prepare to dodge a central obstacle, then shift to the center for a moment before pressing apart again, where you can rest as the ships travel along a safe divider through the middle, emerging to complete the sequence.
==='''Ball section'''===
As well as being fragile to manoeuvre, the balls are also shrunken. The way the game's mechanics work means the speed remains constant in both enlarged and shrunken states, making the shrunken state appear considerably faster in comparison. Due to this, it serves to know exactly what happens to both balls since there is not enough time to interpret the position of obstacles as they arrive. From the UFO sequence, the balls must pass over a small gap by switching sides just a moment after changing form. What happens next is the lower ball is launched into the air, and in that time the upper ball must flip twice over an oncoming saw before the launched ball lands. There is an indicator arrow which marks the first flip point before having to return immediately once clear of the saw. In a similar manner, the lower ball must flip over a saw while the upper ball is sent airborne. Take care after as both balls are swiftly launched by jump pads onto several synchronised jump rings very quickly. It can also occur the balls being sent there themselves prematurely from switching gravity, even having both balls share a single jump ring if the timing is slightly out. The sequence can still be cleared safely, approaching another ship sequence while still shrunken.
==='''Second ship section'''===
This section is much shorter, and this time the ships are in the shrunken state from the ball section. As before, only focus on one ship and stay on the side on the map before dodging two spiked projections.
==='''Third ship section'''===
This is arguably the most difficult of the dual sections, particularly because the ships are shrunken and hence ascend and descend faster when tapped, making it hard to control. Located near the end of the level from the cube section, navigate them towards the centre of the level, but be prepared to dodge a central obstacle, move towards the centre again, and dodge another central obstacle before going back to the central portal to complete the sequence.

==Trivia==
* The icon unlocked when completing the level in Normal mode was inspired by [http://minecraft.wikia.com/wiki/Creepers Creepers] from the popular video game [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minecraft Minecraft].
* The achievement ''Hexagonest'' may be a reference to the game [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Hexagon Super Hexagon].
*This is the first level with the slow down portal. The second is [[Theory of Everything 2]].
* This level introduces object rotation, dual mode, and slopes.
* Completing the level takes 1:31.
* The level is one of the three levels not having a [[Secret Coins|secret coin]] in their cube segments. The other two are [[Cycles]] and [[Blast Processing]].

== Errors ==
* There was an error in the level located before the first dual section. It's on the platform after you jump off a ramp. The error is on the bottom right corner of the platform. However, this was fixed in [[Update 1.9|1.9]].
* There was a secret way in this level: During the last cube section, before going to the mini dual slow ship sequence, if a player jumps at the right time, they would fall through to the floor. However this was fixed.
**The cube loses jumping height but can perform successive jumps quicker.
Additionally, while a copy is existent, a collision will terminate the original, and vice versa, with each icon able to interact with its surroundings. Also, the vertical grid is locked to certain ranges.
**The cube and ball are contained to 9 vertical units.
**The ship, UFO and wave are contained to 10 vertical units.

==Description==
Cycles introduces a new icon form (or game mechanic, if you will), called the Gravity Ball, along with its respective Ball Portal, which is red. Although it has an easier rating than xStep, some would argue that it is actually more difficult, due to some fairly imaginative and tricky segments.

The level starts with a cube section which switches between regular gravity and antigravity many times. It starts easy, but gets more difficult as it has some triple-spikes, as well as many trick jump pads and rings which the user must not hit. After going through a bit of this, the player will encounter a series of yellow jump pads; the second one will get the player to the above platform, with dodging two trick jump rings. After a few more tricky jumps, the player descends down a set of steps and enters the Ball Portal.

In ball form, the user must tap to switch gravity. The level has a few large arrow indicators for the first few taps, but then leaves the player on their own.

After a short ball segment, the user enters a very tricky ship segment which tends to frustrate players as it is unlike anything they have ever done before. It consists of a series of gravity portals which continuously switch the player between gravity and antigravity, but also makes the user go up and down. It takes a very long time to get used to. The trick is to use a series of long taps each time the player comes close to a gravity portal(indicated by a high note in the music); rapid tapping is a bad idea.

After this ship section, the level goes into Mirror and enters another ball section which is considerably more difficult than the first one. This switches in and out of Mirror Mode a few times, but ends in Mirror mode. It is the first, and currently the only, official level to do this. Throughout the section, the player must be careful with jump pads and rings, particularly which to hit and miss.

==Secret coins==
*After the beginning of the first ball portal, flip gravity three times and stay at the ceiling. You'll go into a tunnel that leads you to the secret coin, but you have to time your next gravity flip, as the bottom part of the tunnel has spikes on it.
*In the middle of the gravity flipping rocket part, after the pillars, the coin is on the top, before the path gets narrow. You'll have to time your moment to fly back to the normal path.
*On the second ball part, when the background is blue, there's a yellow pad on the top before a four spike set. Flip gravity quickly and then flip again to be above the four spike set hanging, then flip gravity again when there are no spikes on the top, repeat that until you reach the end of the secret path and collected the coin. This coin is hard to obtain.

==Walkthrough==

[[File:Geometry Dash - Cycles - All Coins|thumb|center|300px]]

==Trivia==
*Cycles is one of the two levels to offer players [[Icon Kit|icons]] for completing the level both in practice and normal mode. The other is [[xStep]].
* Cycles introduces the gravity ball mode.
* Cycles also has the longest ball sequences.
* Cycles is the only level to end in mirror mode, as mentioned above. It is also the only level to end in the ball mode.
* Cycles takes 1:22 to complete, making it the shortest level in the game.
* This is one of the three levels where secret coins cannot be found in the cube sequences and gets less screen time. The two other are [[Hexagon Force]] and [[Blast Processing]].
* There's a glitch in Cycles. In the second yellow gravity portal, if you get close enough to the spikes, you can slip through a gap on top of the blue gravity portal. This glitch will kill you, however.
== Previews ==
Prior to the release of Update 1.8, Topala said in a conversation at Touch Arcade Forums:

<blockquote>"I have a lot of ideas for update 1.9 that could be huge for the game, but more on that after I release 1.8... muahaha"
</blockquote>

On August 13, 2014, Topala posted his first Update 1.9 preview image, which shows five icons wearing different-colored headphones. This made way for much anticipation throughout the Geometry Dash community, resulting in theories involving soundtrack changes within a level and new game modes.

On August 26, 2014, Topala created another image depicting three-dimensional blocks, arousing much excitement among Geometry Dash players. He continued with the idea on August 28, posting a picture on Facebook about what could be built using the blocks.

On September 6, 2014, another image was posted through Topala's social media accounts featuring several different new [[Map Components|map components]] that would be used in future levels of Geometry Dash. This included two new icons, gear-like obstacles, and various different unknown types of blocks. The most prominent feature was a new thick blue portal that would likely result in another game mode being introduced. It was also released to the public that Topala wouldcfvfffsyolo lkol hasc

On September 14, 2014, Topala posted yet another image onto his social media accounts. It has a blast and processor for [[Blast Processing]] by Waterflame'' ''and a book, an infinity symbol, and a "2" for''' '''[[Theory of Everything 2]]'' by'' ''DJ Nate, ''with the latter likely to be the demon level, following similar lines to [[Update 1.6]]''.''

On September 21, 2014, another image was posted through Facebook and Twitter. This image introduced a new custom music feature that would allow players to include music from Newgrounds in their custom levels. The image includes ten icons with headphones at the bottom. It was the first picture to indicate that the update was a work in progress. Upon the release of the image, Topala said that a sneak peek video for the next levels would be coming soon.

On September 28, 2014, Topala officially released the first Update 1.9 sneak peek video, which showed the first 21 seconds of Blast Processing. As seen in the video, the new blue [[Portals|portal]] changed the icon to an arrow-like object with physics similar to those seen in the mobile game Wave Wave.

On October 10, 2014, he released another sneak peek video featuring the second level, [[Theory of Everything 2]]. In this video, a new background and a new design of ship was used. Topala was also playing the game on his computer, indicating that he may have been using the future Steam version.

On October 18, 2014, Topala confirmed that the update would be released soon after he had fixed a minor issues in the backup and music systems. He also said he was working on the Steam version, and hinted on [[Update 2.0]], stating that he will continue improving the user account system devised in 1.9.

On November 4, 2014, Topala posted that the update was submitted for review and was waiting to be accepted.

On November 9, 2014, almost three months after Update 1.9 was first mentioned, Topala confirmed the release of 1.9 and stated that it would release to iOS and Android devices around the same time, and the Steam version would be released as soon as possible.

On November 13, 2014, Update 1.9 was released to the Windows Phone App Store.

On November 14, 2014, Update 1.91 was released to all devices. This was a minor update that fixed a few bugs.

On November 15, 2014 update 1.9 was released on Amazon devices.

== Trivia ==
* The new arrow-like form, known as the Wave, was inspired by the mechanics of the mobile game ''Wave Wave''. It is supposed the concept was brought to light by a popular Geometry Dash player, Darnoc, who created a level (also named ''Wave Wave''), mimicking its mechanics using condensed groups of gravity rings and the UFO.
* This is the first update to include a sequel of a main level song: [[Theory of Everything|Theory of Everything 2]]
* This is the second update that includes two new main levels. ([[Update 1.6|1.6]] with [[Electroman Adventures]] and [[Clubstep]], and now 1.9 with [[Blast Processing]] and [[Theory of Everything 2]])<gallery widths="200" orientation="none">
* Both Update 1.6 and Update 1.9 featured music from both Waterflame and DJ Nate.
* Some people thought that ''Eternity'' would be Level 18, but that was later proven false when the Theory of Everything 2 preview came out.
* Many users thought that Update 1.9 would be released on Halloween, but the update ended up being released 9 days later.
'''Portals''' are special [[Map Components|map components]] in [[Geometry Dash]]. They modify the way the player interacts with the level, and can also change the cube into different [[forms]].
|}
==='''Notes'''===
*The size portal affects individual forms in different ways. The cube loses jumping height but can perform successive jumps quicker. The UFO also loses jumping height and takes less time to begin descending, However, what is applicable to all forms is the same constant speed which is unchanging from the enlarged state, but gives the impression that while shrunken, the icons move quicker as a result of looking small.
*The slow speed portal was in Hexagon Force following the initially released speed portals. The speed portals were actually in [[Update 1.7]], in [[Electrodynamix]].
*The copy from a copy portal inverts the chosen colour scheme. While a copy is existent, a collision will terminate the original, and vice versa, with each icon fully able to interact with its surroundings.
*When the icon enters a manipulation portal, the screen often flashes in an unusual manner. The gravity pads also act in the same way.
* The mirror portal effect is purely visual, and as such is not seen in the editor.

==Form Portals==
The following portals change the form of the player:
{| border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" class="article-table article-table-selected" style="width: 640px;"
|}

==Notes==
*Players still have the ability to use jump rings in the forms.
* If the cube form goes above the 60-playing-area space in anti-gravity or in such ways to reach it, it acts like a hazard and makes the player die. This can be seen in a glitch in the start of[[ xStep]].

== Trivia ==
*Gravity and mirror are the only options not available to begin in a custom level. But gravity can still be changed from start position.
*By entering a Form Portal that is used to transform you into the same form you were in before entering, you can shift the playing area either higher or lower, as long as the second Form Portal is place higher or lower than the first one. This trick is used to enter the alternate route for the third [[Secret Coins|secret coin]] in [[Stereo Madness]].
* The size portal is the only manipulation portal that does not use blue as a deactivation portal, instead it uses green.
** In this small form, the cube and ball forms are manipulated by changing the detail from its original form to one that resembles the very first type from their icon kits respectively.
* All portals (except the speed portals which are not three-dimensional) have an effect in the [[Level Editor]], where only a part of the portal is shown.
It is the first stage marked with the Insane difficulty as of [[Update 1.9]].

==Description==
xStep introduces blue pads and blue rings/circles on the regular path. The icon assumes three different [[forms]] through the level— the cube, rocket, and gravity ball. It is similar to [[Cycles]] in difficulty and features multiple tight rocket scenes. xStep is also the level that uses the greatest number of blue pads out of any level in the game, present throughout almost the entire second ship scene. The level also introduces full checker bricks and another block (previously seen while getting the second coin in [[Jumper]]).The level also introduces wavy platforms along with the wavy thorns.

== Secret coins ==
*The first secret coin is located in the first ship sequence. After the last thorn-ball before a stepped wall, carefully fly into the small space between the thorn-ball and the wall to collect the secret coin.
*The second secret coin is located in the second ship sequence. In the last part of it, containing the spiked passage, slip your ship into a small hole. Keep on holding it up.Then go out the hole in the other end and go through a cube portal shortly afterward.
*The last coin is in the cube sequence after the second ship one. After flipping gravity, your cube will approach a gravity pad that is slightly elevated with some spikes before it. You have to miss the gravity pad and the spikes. Once you have achieved this, get ready to tap on a mid-air gravity ring, otherwise you will crash into a suspended platform with spikes on it. Once you have done that, you will reach the coin and fall into the regular course. Immediately jump again to clear off a jump ring.
*xStep is one of the two levels to grant block icons for both Practice and Normal, the other one is [[Cycles]].
*xStep is the only level name to begin with a lowercase letter.
*There is an error in xStep. It's under the spike ball to the left of the first secret coin.
*There's a glitch in xStep, where you can fall through a gap in the first antigravity section. However, this is not a secret passageway, as you will die after hitting the top.
* The wavy platforms first appear in this level although they are in several coin paths in the first 6 levels.
*xStep marks the gradual introduction of many new [[Map Components|map components]] including blocks, pits and cosmetics.
* xStep, [[Electroman Adventures]] and [[Blast Processing]] all reward 10 stars if completed, although xStep and Electroman Adventures have the higher rating of Insane while Blast Processing has Harder.
* xStep is not the first level with gravity pads in it. First was in [[Back on Track]] and second was in [[Polargeist]], used to collect a secret coin.
* The level takes 1:24 to complete.
Produces antigravity copy of icon. Also changes the playing area to 9, or 10 if one of the forms is in ship, UFO or wave mode.
|}
==='''Notes'''===
* The size portal surprisingly changes the cube to the same design, which is the first default Icon, although the space between the two 'squares' is gone.

==Form Portals==
The following portals change the form of the player:
{| border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" class="article-table article-table-selected" style="width: 640px;"

==Notes==
*Players still have the ability to use jump rings in the forms.
* If the cube form goes above the 60-playing-area space in anti-gravity or in such ways to reach it, it acts like a hazard and makes the player die.

== Trivia ==
** In this small form, the cube and ball forms are manipulated by deducting the detail from its original form.
* All portals (except the speed portals which are not three-dimensional) have a strange effect in the [[Level Editor]], as only a part of the portal is shown.
Since the content is limited, the total amount of unlockables is also greatly reduced. A maximum of 28 stars and 21 [[Secret Coins|secret coins]] are available, along with 38 [[Achievements|achievements]].

== Trivia ==
*The original seven levels of Geometry Dash all progressed to the Lite version after several updates.
*Certain achievements have been changed to be possible within the Lite version, allowing several ships to be unlocked far more easily in comparison to the full version.
*A maximum of 20 secret coins will unlock all related achievements, while stars do not serve any purpose without any related achievements.
*The achievement "So close...", requiring the player to crash at 99% is impossible due to the design of the available levels physically not allowing such to happen.
*Update 1.9 has still not been released for the Lite version, though it could possibly see the introduction of [[Time Machine]] and nerfing of the "So close" achievement.
'''[[Electrodynamix]]''' is the fifteenth level in Geometry Dash. It was added in [[Update 1.7]] on May 21, 2014 with a rating of insane. New blocks and the speed portals were added to this update.

==Description==
Electrodynamix introduces the speed portals, but only two are shown on the level, the double speed (green) and the triple speed (pink). You start the level with normal speed, then the double speed starts, while half way in the level, the triple speed is triggered, making it significantly harder.

This level has some new features as well. The colors of the background on the first rocket and UFO paths are the same''' '''as the player's primary and secondary colors, so be careful. Bright colors make the UFO path very hard since the spikes are hard to be seen, so it is advised to use darker colors.

The hardest parts of this level are the rocket segments during triple speed and mini mode. It generally takes lots of tries (on practice mode) to handle the control of the rocket while passing narrow paths, so you have to be very careful on the rocket.

== Secret Coin ==
* At the first shrunken UFO, slide through two gears that contain the secret coin.. An alternate way to get it is to go under it and press 4 times to get it.
* After the ball section, jump two blue jump rings and not the yellow one. Get the secret coin and jump to keep going.
* After the shrunken ball section, jump on the purple and yellow jump ring. The trick is to not jump on the blue ring. Then jump to clear off a gap. You will hit a blue ring, then continue.

==Trivia==
* Besides the level which introduces the Speed Portals, this level also introduces the mechanic which the background color is the same as the player's colors (mostly notable on the first rocket path and the UFO path).
* It is the first level without a coin in a rocket segment of the level.
* It is the first level which introduced the blocks with colors.
* Due to the faster speeds present which lengthened the level, Electrodynamix is the only level where you can crash at 99%(Crash at the last spike to achieve 99%). This used to be the criteria for the "So Close..." achievement until Update 1.9, which nerfed the progress needed to 95%.
* Electrodynamix is also the only level where you can crash at 0%. Not that you want to show that off though.
* Despite Electrodynamix's degree of difficulty, [[Hexagon Force]] and [[Theory of Everything]] all reward the same amount of stars (12). Many consider Electrodynamix much harder than these levels.
* There is an error in Electrodynamix. In the beginning, after you land on a pole/stick, one of the wavy spikes is missing.

[[File:Geometry Dash Update 1.8 (Sneak Peek)|thumb|right|335 px]]

'''Update 1.8''' is an update in [[Geometry Dash]] that was released on August 7, 2014. It primarily added a new level - [[Hexagon Force]] and introduced slope ground objects.

== Introductions ==
The most noticeable introduction into the full version was the addition of [[Hexagon Force]], which was seen in the sneak peek of the update. This level marked the first appearance of the diagonal blocks, which allowed the icon to travel in different directions. Within Hexagon Force were the brand-new copy portals, which made way for the revolutionary dual character game mode. This mode forced players to control multiple icons at once.

Outside of the new level, the 1.8 update introduced four new icons and several other colors. This included the achievements given for tapping the icons on the home screen. New kinds of spikes and decorations could also be added using [[Level Editor|level editor]], while users could change the background theme from squares to hexagons or circles. More blocks were also added, as shown in the sneak peek. In level editor, creators can also add a character guide line showing the path of the character. It could also be made so that two players could play on the same screen, with both playing on different halves.

In [[Geometry Dash Lite]], the level [[Jumper]] was introduced for the first time. It was also considered one of the easier insane levels in the full version, and became only the second in the free version to have its difficulty. It also adds second advertisement of full version.

== Trivia ==
* Actually, RobTop has some ideas for the 1.90 update.That's what he says in a post of Touch Arcade Forums :
"I have been building level 16 using the desktop version of Geometry Dash with all the new tools, the speed and workflow is a lot faster.

Playing in the editor works by pressing a play button, the player will then spawn at the last startpos and is controllable. He will also leave a trail behind him that shows his movement pattern that you can then use as a guide when building.

You can toggle on/off camera follow, and if you want the music to play in sync. There is also a new music play/pause button that will play the music and show a moving line that represents the position that matches the music. The music will always start to the left of the editor window, so you can quickly go through a level and sync it to music.

'''<u>I have a lot of ideas for update 1.9 that could be huge for the game, but more on that after I release 1.8... muahaha</u>'''"
* In the level editor, the Copy Portal appears without the longest line on the triangle, but if you play the level , copy portal appears normal.
* It is impossible to get the "So Close!" Achievement in the Lite version, as [[Electrodynamix]] is the only level in which you can die at 99%, neither present in it.
* On a post on Facebook he stated that it will be changed to 95%-99%.
[[File:GD_LE_Map.PNG|thumb|118x118px|Level Editor in the early version 1.71.]][[File:IMG_3342.png|thumb|300px|Level Editor in latest 1.9 version]]
The '''Level Editor''' is a feature of [[Geometry Dash]] that gives the player the building of User created levels as well as being able to share them with other players.

==Initial selection==
The level's titling "Level Name" on the top of the screen. Creators are limited to a name that is 19 characters long (including spaces). Since Update 1.9, the no name levels appears like <nowiki>''Unnamed 0''</nowiki> As of 1.9, the two official level names that cannot be used are [[Theory of Everything 2]] and [[Electroman Adventures]], both of which must be written by taking out spaces. Because of this, all [[Theory of Everything]] remakes use "ToE" to signify the level name.
* Note that you cannot change the title of your level after it is published.

===Level Description===
The level's description is also another option that can be changed at the initial page of level editor. This feature is optional, unlike the title, and is generally left blank by casual creators. The description can be far longer than titles, although its length is very limited as well. Descriptions for expert creators often promote the other levels made under their username. Unlike the title of your level, you can change the description in future versions of your uploaded level.

==Getting started==
Initially in the process of creating a level, users will see several grid lines and colored orange vertical lines. The colored lines indicate the background music beat. Players can add blocks and other items using the control panel on the bottom of the screen.

==Options==
There are multiple settings that are configurable in the level: music, background and ground colors, speed, starting object, etc.

Music can be modified very easily, but [[Stereo Madness]] is set by default. In order to change the background song, users must tap the gear button in the upper right-hand corner and click the arrows next to the song name. Any official songs can be chosen. The [[Update 1.9|1.9 update]] introduced the feature that allowed creators to use music from Nutewgrounds.

In order to change the level's color themes, players are also required to tap on the gear button, and simply tap the letters "BG" or "Ground" to do so. A color wheel will pop up on the screen, and users must slide the dots until their desired color appears. To change the background color in midway go to build mode and hit the tab at the right end. There should be three colored circles that say BG. The default color it gives you when you hit that area is white but there is an easy way to fix this. At the right it should say edit object and it should give you a color wheel.

[[Update 1.7]] introduced the starting object button, which allows the creator to modify if the player starts with a cube, rocket, gravity ball, or UFO (or arrow as of Update 1.9). The size, color of the line, line around blocks and spikes, and glow, can also easily be altered. The background pattern could also be modified and set to circles and squares.

After [[Update 1.8]] and the addition of the level [[Hexagon Force]], the background could be changed to hexagons. This update was also revolutionary to the number of decorations that could be used. It also allowed players to easily test their levels without having to click the play button. They could also hear the soundtrack and have the assistance of colored lines in level editor. These features could be used by clicking the yellow or blue buttons on the left-hand side of the screen.

The [[Update 1.9]] introduced the possibility to have four color channels to use for objects, allowing for more elaborate level design.

----
There are three different tabs on the bottom overlay: Build, Edit, and Delete.

=== Build Selection Tabs ===
There are twelve different tabs for blocks, slabs, outlines, ramps, spikes, 3D objects, portals, decorations (primarily for spikes), decorations, moving decorations, gears, and background editing.
* Moving decorations grow bigger or smaller depending on the beat.
* Using the swipe tool will place blocks of the same kind continuously.
==== Portals Tab ====
The portals tab consists of different jumping features, as well as objects that alter your cubes form, size, and speed. For more information see [[Portals]].
* Blue and yellow portals alter gravity. Blue goes down, Yellow goes up.
* The green portal changes you back to a cube from whatever other form you were
* The purple portal changes you into a flying ship.
* The red portal changes you to ball which functions similar to the game mechanics of Gravity Guy. Tapping which change the gravity of the object.
* The orange portal changes you to a UFO, which functions similar to Flappy Bird.
* The blue portal introduced in [[Update 1.9]] changes you into an arrow with mechanics that mimic Wave Wave.
* The green and purple portals change the players size. Green grows bigger, purple grows smaller. There are only two possible sizes, so these portals do not stack.
* The orange and blue arrow portals create a duplicate of your cube with opposite gravity. If in a cube form, a second 'ground' is formed at the top of the screen. When the player taps, both cubes will jump simultaneously. Orange creates two, blue reverts to one.
* The last four arrows alter speed. x0.5, x1, x2, and x3. You originally begin at x1 speed.

=== Edit Selection Tabs ===
There are sixteen available edit tools. After selecting an object you'd like to edit (or selecting multiple using the swipe tool), tap the buttons to move or flip the object how you'd like.
* The first four tools move the selection 1 pixel. It is 16 x 16 pixels in one grid space.
* The next four, indicated with two arrows, push your selection one block in the direction indicated
* Two tools show arrows in both direction indicate that it will flip the direction of your object.
* The next two rotate the selection either clockwise or counterclockwise.
* On the next page, the last four are shown by three arrows, and move your selection five blocks in the direction selected.

=== Delete Selection Tabs ===
The final, and most simple tab is the delete tab. Here any selected objects can be deleted by pressing the trash button. If you would like to delete all objects of a certain kind, select the object and press the delete all button. There is also a delete all start position button displayed at all times. On the right of the tab, you can customize what blocks will delete. None will mean there is no filter to what is deleted. Static means only static blocks that the player can touch will be deleted. Details deletes only decorations. Finally selecting one object and clicking the custom filter will allow you to delete any of the objects of the type selected.

=== Miscellaneous ===
These are special options which mostly do not have any effect on the player but affect the surroundings of the player/the level itself.

==== Copy and Paste Tools ====
These options, located to the right of your screen, allow you to take a selection highlighted by the edit tool and copy it it elsewhere. When copied, it saves the objects color and rotation. Using the copy and paste tool, the object duplicates the object and places it in the same location as the first copy. From there, you can use the edit tool to move it how you would like. The copy tool stores your selection, as well as its color and rotation in the games memory, until you click paste. When paste is pressed, the same selection will appear at the center of your screen. From there, you can use the edit tool to move it how you would like.
* Note that quitting the game, or testing out your level will forget what you had copied. Thus, you cannot copy and paste items to other levels.

====Colour Options====
These options change the colour of the background, the ground, lines and some objects. The player will not be killed if they run into one of these.
* '''BG:'''Modifies the background colour and transitions. Can also override the ground colour.
* '''Object:'''Modifies objects' outline colour and transitions.
* '''Line:'''Modifies the ground's outline colour and transitions.
* '''Ground:'''Modifies the ground's body colour and transitions.
* '''Color1, Color2, Color3, Color4'''''<nowiki>:'</nowiki>''Modifies simple colours of objects.
* '''3DL:'''Modifies colour of 3D line effect.

==== Start Position ====
Re-positions the icon starting position elsewhere. Special options can determine the icon's attributes including forms or portal effects. Placing a starting position ahead of another will override any existing ones.
* Note that you cannot verify a level if you have a start position.

==== Player Trail ====
This enables a shadowing trail of your icons behind you as you play. You can either enable or disable this.
* The trail is the same colour as your primary colour.
* This does not override the rainbow trail earned for beating 10 Map Packs.

==== Transition Blocks ====
These blocks are used to change how the level moves and transitions when playing in practice/normal mode. They can be found by moving to the second tab in the colour options. These are (as of 1.9):
* No transition.
* Blocks will appear moving downwards and disappear moving upwards
* Blocks will appear moving upwards and disappear moving downwards
* Blocks will appear moving to the right and disappear moving from the right.
* Blocks will appear moving to the left and disappear moving from the left.
* Blocks will shrink to the left and grow from the right.
* Blocks will grow to the right and shrink from the left.
* Blocks will implode in front of you and explode behind you.
* Blocks will explode in front of you and implode behind you.
* Blocks will appear by dropping/rising from the top and bottom and disappear by rising/dropping from the bottom and top.
* Blocks will appear by rising/dropping from the top and bottom and disappear by dropping/rising from the bottom and top.

==== Object Sequencers ====
* '''Cube:''' Starts the level out in the cube form.
* '''Ship:''' Starts the level out in the ship form.
* '''Ball:''' Starts the level out in the ball form.
* '''UFO:''' Starts the level out in the UFO form.
* '''Wave''': Starts the level out in Wave form.

==== Trivia ====
* Out of the seven BG and Ground textures, only four have been used in default levels: the standard "blocky" texture (used in Stereo Madness through Clubstep), the "Bubble" texture (used in Electrodynamix), the Hexagon texture (used in Hexagon Force and [[Blast Processing]]) and the Vortex texture (used in[[Theory of Everything 2| Theory of Everything 2]]). As well as this, the zigzag ground texture (added in 1.7) was not used in a main level until 1.9, for Theory of Everything 2.
* There are eight kinds of difficulty levels in a custom level. N/A (not approved), Auto, Easy, Normal, Hard, Harder, Insane, and Demon.
* There are five kinds of lengths in a custom level. Tiny, Short, Medium, Long, and Extra-Long.
* If you click the "Help" button on the custom music screen, there is an example ID (568699), which is the song "Hexagon Force" by Waterflame.
|
|}
==='''Notes'''===
* The size portal surprisingly changes the cube to the same design, which is the first default Icon, although the space between the two 'squares' is gone.

*The slow speed portal was introduced in Hexagon Force following the initially released speed portals.

==Form Portals==
The following portals change the [[Forms|form]] of the player:
==Notes==
*Players still have the ability to use jump circles in four out of five forms.

== Trivia ==
*Gravity and mirror are the only options not available to begin in a custom level. But gravity can still be changed from start position.
*The secret area in Stereo Madness is currently the only level in which there is a form portal in a [[Secret Coins|secret coin]] path. This form portal, however, doesn't do much as it's a ship entering a ship portal.
*The deactivation portals are all coloured blue (except for the size portal, which is green), and vice versa (except for the Wave portal, which is a lighter blue than the other blue deactivation portals)
* The size portal is the only one that does not use blue as a deactivation portal, instead it uses green.
* A mirror portal hasn't been used in a main level since Electroman Adventures.
* All portals (except the speed portals which are not 3D) have a strange effect in the [[Level Editor]], as only a part of the portal is shown.

==Level description==

Electroman Adventures came out in 1.6 update with level 14, [[Clubstep]]. It introduces colored sawblades, breakable blocks and changeable line colour. It also introduces new obstacles (wavy thorns and ice-themed spikes).

==Unlockables==

If you complete the level in Normal mode, you will unlock a new [[Forms|rocket]] icon resembling a space rocket (albeit on its side). Completing it in Practice mode gives you a cyan primary color.

==Trivia==
*The title "Electroman Adventures" is only 1 character too long if it were to be a custom level title.
*Despite being the thirteenth level, only 10 stars are rewarded upon completion, most likely reflected by the old difficulty.
* On the first mini UFO part, you can land on the platform holding a portal that transforms you into an east-facing mini rocket, and stay as a west-heading mini UFO.
* All of the secrets coins uses fake spikes in the pathways of getting them.
* The music and layout of this level could all be a reference to classic video game dungeons. The large chains, breakable blocks, and the pipe-like platforms are all evidence of this.
* [[xStep]], Electroman Adventures, and [[Blast Processing]] all reward 10 stars if completed, although xStep and Electroman Adventures have the higher rating of ''Insane''.
* It takes 1:28 to win the level.
* Electroman Adventures is the last level to use a Mirror Portal.
}}'''Theory of Everything''' is the twelfth official level of [[Geometry Dash]]. It is the third insane level as of [[Update 1.9]].

==Description ==

Theory of Everything contains blue gravity rings, pink and yellow jump rings, all three colours of jump pads, rocket [[portals]], ball portals, size portals, gravity portals, and mirror portals. The obstacles are challenging, and the orange UFO portals are introduced.

==Trivia==

* This level, [[Time Machine]], [[Dry Out]], [[Can't Let Go]], [[Clutterfunk]] and [[Blast Processing]] are the only levels where you can hear speech in the background music.
*Although Theory of Everything, [[Electrodynamix]], and [[Hexagon Force]] have the same difficulty rating and reward the same number of stars upon completion, Electrodynamix is harder compared to the other two.
*A secret passage can be found in this level (it is found after the second UFO sequence... there are two ways to access it).
*Strangely, the icon this level gives you after completion resembles the obstacles from the first ship sequence in [[Clutterfunk]].
* Update 1.9 contains [[Theory of Everything 2]],''which is first level that is version 2 of some other RobTop's level. ToE 2 is also demon, which is like in NepTune's levels (if original is insane, V2 is demon).''
* Besides UFOs, purple jump pads and rings and thorns with vines, the level also introduces an object that allows you to color the the lines on objects.
* This level has all hazards before 1.6 (hence the name of the level).
* This level is the last level to use the classic styled thorns.
* This is the only level where thorns with vines appear; however the shrubs appear again in [[Hexagon Force]].
* This level introduces large decals - the ones in this level are arrows, question marks, and exclamation points.
* The level takes 1:26 to complete.
The '''Icon Kit''' is a feature for cosmetically modifying the player's [[Forms|form]] of their 'icon' in [[Geometry Dash]]. Although there is no physical difference to gameplay, the player can select from a variety of visually appealing options, including icons for the cube, ship, ball and UFO all with their own unique icons. Colours can also be applied to make unique creations consisting of a primary and secondary color. However, the two chosen colours remain consistent between all forms, disallowing multiple color schemes.

By completing [[Achievements]], more colors and icons can be obtained.
==Trivia==
*Icons that are awarded for easy achievements, like 'Stereo Bump', are lacking in detail and aren't very intricate. However, very challenging achievements award very detailed icons with intricate patterns. Players can use these icons to show off their accomplishments.
* The icons primary color will also be used in the progress bar if turned on.(The default setting is 'off', so it has to be turned to 'on' if the Player wants.)
* There are a total of 46 cube icons, 18 ship icons, 10 ball icons, 10 UFO icons, and 1 wave icon.
*Choosing black as the primary color will change what is normally the black outline into the secondary color. Several other changes occur which mostly applies the secondary color to [[Map Components|map components]] in place of the black.
*[[Update 1.7]] added a special option unlocked by completing 10 [[Map Packs|map packs]], which is a rainbow trail emitted behind the player.
* Update 1.7 had a sneak peek picture that featured a ball that never came to game. But, that ball had 35 secret coin ball in it and the 70 secret coin ball is nearly the same, so the ball nearly came to game.
*[[Cycles]] and [[xStep]] are the only levels where you can get icons both in Normal Mode ''and'' Practice Mode.
* [[Clubstep]] is the only level where you can get a UFO is Practice mode ''and ''a Secondary Black Color in Normal Mode.
* The icon unlocked by completing [[Hexagon Force]] in Normal Mode is a reference of a ''Creeper'', a popularized enemy creature from the game ''Minecraft''.
* [[Update 1.8]] added secrets to the game. Unlocking the second secret will reveal how to get 2 icons and 1 color.

* [[Update 1.9]] added a new secret to the game. Upon collecting it, the player will be rewarded with secret coin and new color with achievement "Master Detective". See [[Achievements]] page for how to earn it.
*Currently there are no options to change the design of the wave icon, although its colour can modified as usual.
* The first icons from Geometry Dash are used from the [http://www.1001fonts.com/oxygene-1-font.html Oxygene 1].
*The UFO unlocked for completing 30 map packs is based off Bowser's ship in ''Super Mario World''.
