Introduced along with [[Electroman Adventures|Electroman Adventures,]] and giving 14 stars upon completion, Clubstep is commonly recognized as one of the hardest official levels in normal mode, the other one being [[Theory of Everything 2]].

== Description ==
Clubstep is currently one of the two Demon levels in the [[Geometry Dash]] levels list, which are unlockable. Many of the obstacles require going in or around so-called demons. Clubstep introduces lots of new features, including invisible spikes and invisible blocks''.''

== Secret coins ==
*The first coin can be found at one of the first antigravity sections: it is clearly visible. There will be a series of three jump rings, and you must hit the second one to slide through the wall opening containing the coin. This is considered to be easier than going the normal route.

*The second coin can be found near the beginning of the second mini UFO part. Immediately after switching into mini UFO, quickly tap many times to jump up into a hidden passage above the one you would normally take. Dodge three small near-invisible spikes and get the coin.

*The last coin can be found at the end of the level. When you reach the last set of monsters in ship mode, the first monster will have no floor. Slip through this opening, fly under four tiny spinning blades.

==Trivia==
* Clubstep takes 1:27 to complete.
*Clubstep has '''6''' ship portals, however it only has one ball portal and two UFO portals.
* Most levels give a color in Practice mode, and an [[Icon Kit|icon]] in Normal mode. Clubstep, however, gives a secondary black color as a reward for Normal mode and a UFO for completing it in Practice mode.
** However, the Steam version introduced another icon for completing Clubstep. (The achievement name is ''SteamStep''! Also, In update 1.9.2, the Steam icons were brought to the mobile version, enabling this icon for all players.)
*** However, on mobile it's a secret: The icon is hidden. First, you need to complete Clubstep in normal mode on Steam version, and sync it with your mobile account. You will not get this icon by completing this on mobile.
*The name "Clubstep" is a pun on ''dubstep'', which is the type of music playing during the level, along with electronic.
*If you jump right before the first ship portal instead of hitting the gravity pad, you can fly upside down in the first part of the flying section.
* At 53 seconds and 63 seconds into the level there are large unfilled areas, another indication the level was rushed through.
* If you hold down right from the start of the level, you will jump above the yellow pad and then you'll jump again from the block that near it, even though there's a spike on it. With a bit of practice, the level can then be normally continued.
* [[Theory of Everything 2]] and Clubstep give the same amount of stars and they are both demon difficulty levels, but Clubstep requires 20 coins to unlock, while Theory of Everything 2 requires 30.
* Although the level is named Clubstep in the menu, the name of the soundtrack as shown in Newgrounds is Club Step (with a space in the middle), making it the only level with an edited name.

* Clubstep is currently the level with the earliest secret coin, with the first coin appearing at 9%. After Clubstep is [[Electroman Adventures]], which has a first coin appearing at 10%, and then [[Time Machine]], first coin appearing at 13%.

== Errors ==
* Just before the first ship portal on the invisible blocks, a gap in the map can be seen at the bottom of the screen, a likely result of copy and paste indicates that the level may have been rushed through.
* If you jump right before the first ship portal instead of hitting the gravity pad, you can fly upside down in the first part of the flying section.
* At 53 seconds and 63 seconds into the level there are large unfilled areas, another indication the level was rushed through.
* If you hold down right from the start of the level, you will jump above the yellow pad and then you'll jump again from the block near it, even though there's a spike on it. With a bit of practice, the level can then be normally continued.
* After the mini-UFO and mini ship, you hit three gravity jump pads and continue so forth. Right when you are going to hit the blue gravity pad, you don't actually have to hit it, so you'll have one less jump.

==Description==
Clutterfunk is often regarded as a relatively difficult level. It has many traps and introduces new obstacles, sawblades and smaller spikes. Some of them are the mini ball's tight timings, the "hall-based" rocket segments, and the mini-cube sequences. This level added more aesthetics such as the gear-like decorations. It introduced two new block variants.

Clutterfunk also introduces the size [[portals]] which shrink or enlarge the player's icon in the different modes.

== Secret coins ==
* When encountering the first ship portal, avoid the obstacles, and carefully go up above the spikes to collect the coin.
* In the enlarged second ship, go through two gravity portals, and carefully go through a 1 block wide spot to obtain the coin. Then go through a blue gravity portal and continue as normal.
* The third coin is located under the mini-cube sequence. When you are shrunken, go up two staircase-like blocks, then get launched up and tap four times up on yellow rings. Instead of tapping four times, tap three times and let go. Immediately hold again, then tap on the blue ring. Then continue to the level.

==Trivia==
* The first 40 seconds of the'' real'' Clutterfunk soundtrack is clipped, possibly due to level length.
** The end of the level corresponds with 2:45 in the full version of Clutterfunk.
** Some other parts were also clipped probably to get rid of unnecessary parts and to shorten the song.
* Two of the three coins are collected in rocket segments.
* Along with [[Electroman Adventures]], Clutterfunk also unlocks a ship when it is completed in Normal Mode.
* Although [[Blast Processing]] has the most speech, the full version of Clutterfunk has more speech.
* It takes approximately 1:39 to complete the level.
* This is the first level to have the line change color. If you look carefully enough, you'll see the line change to black in the first mini-cube section.
'''Electrodynamix''' is the fifteenth level in Geometry Dash. It was added in [[Update 1.7]] on May 21, 2014 with a rating of insane. New blocks and the speed portals were added to this update.

==Description==

This Level introduces the Speed Portals, but only two are shown on the level, the Double Speed (Green) and the Triple Speed (Pink). You start the level with Normal Speed, then the Double speed starts, while half way in the level, the Triple Speed is triggered, making it significantly harder.

This level has some new features as well. The colors of the background on the first rocket and UFO paths are the same''' '''as the player's primary and secondary colors, so be careful. Bright colors make the UFO path very hard since the spikes are hard to be seen, so it is advised to use darker colors.

The hardest parts of this level are the rocket segments during triple speed and mini mode. It generally takes lots of tries (on practice mode) to handle the control of the rocket while passing narrow paths, so you have to be very careful on rocket.

==Trivia==
* Besides the level which introduces the Speed Portals, this level also introduces the Mechanic which the background color is the same as the Player's Colors. (Mostly notable on the first Rocket Path and the Ufo Path)
* The name "Electrodynamix" is based on "Electrodynamics".
* It is the first level without a coin in a [[Forms|rocket]] segment of the level.
* It is the first level which introduced the blocks with colors
* Electrodynamix is the only level where you can crash at 99%. This used to be the criteria for the "So Close..." achievement until Update 1.9, which nerfed the progress needed to 95%.
* The [[Update 1.7|1.7 update]] added Electrodynamix.
* Despite Electrodynamix's degree of difficulty, [[Hexagon Force]] and [[Theory of Everything]] all reward the same amount of stars (12). Many consider Electrodynamix much harder than these levels.
* Because of the speed boosts,this is the second shortest level,just 3 seconds behind Cycles. However,if the speed boosts are taken,it is the longest level ever created,at approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds. (Clubstep and Blast Processing,the two longest levels both take 2 minutes and 5 seconds approximately)
The '''Level Editor''' is a feature of [[Geometry Dash]] that gives the player the building of User created levels as well as being able to share them with other players.

==Initial selection==
Le can be changed by clicking on the box with dim text reaction

The level's titding "Level Name" on the top of the screen. Creators are limited to a name that is 19 characters long (including spaces). Since Update 1.9, the no name levels appears like <nowiki>''Unnamed 0''</nowiki> As of 1.9, the two official level names that cannot be used are [[Theory of Everything 2]] and [[Electroman Adventures]], both of which must be written by taking out spaces. Because of this, all [[Theory of Everything]] remakes use "ToE" to signify the level name.

===Level Description===
The level's description is also another option that can be changed at the initial page of level editor. This feature is optional, unlike the title, and is generally left blank by casual creators. The description can be far longer than titles, although its length is very limited as well. Descriptions for expert creators often promote the other levels made under their username.

==Getting started==
Initially in the process of creating a level, users will see several grid lines and colored orange vertical lines. The colored lines indicate the background music beat. Players can add blocks and other items using the control panel on the bottom of the screen.

==Options==
There are multiple settings that are configurable in the level: music, background and ground colors, speed, starting object, etc.

Music can be modified very easily, but [[Stereo Madness]] is set by default. In order to change the background song, users must tap the gear button in the upper right-hand corner and click the arrows next to the song name. Any official songs can be chosen. The [[Update 1.9|1.9 update]] introduced the feature that allowed creators to use music from Newgrounds.

In order to change the level's color themes, players are also required to tap on the gear button, and simply tap the letters "BG" or "Ground" to do so. A color wheel will pop up on the screen, and users must slide the dots until their desired color appears. To change the background color in midway go to build mode and hit the tab at the right end. There should be three colored circles that say BG. The default color it gives you when you hit that area is white but there is an easy way to fix this. At the right it should say edit object and it should give you a color wheel.

[[Update 1.7]] introduced the starting object button, which allows the creator to modify if the player starts with a cube, rocket, gravity ball, or UFO. The size, color of the line, line around blocks and spikes, and glow, can also easily be altered. The background pattern could also be modified and set to circles and squares.

After [[Update 1.8]] and the addition of the level [[Hexagon Force]], the background could be changed to hexagons. This update was also revolutionary to the number of decorations that could be used. It also allowed players to easily test their levels without having to click the play button. They could also hear the soundtrack and have the assistance of colored lines in level editor. These features could be used by clicking the yellow or blue buttons on the left-hand side of the screen.

----
''Help develop a complete Walk-through for all the features of the level editor below.''

==Selection tabs==
There are ten different tabs for spikes, blocks, platforms, gears, portals, sloped, decoration, more decoration, moving objects, and background objects.

=== Miscellaneous ===
These are special options which mostly do not have any effect on the player but affect the surroundings of the player/the level itself.

==== Colour Options ====
These options change the colour of the background, the ground, lines and some objects. The player will not be killed if they run into one of these.
* '''BG:'''Modifies the background colour and transitions. Can also override the ground colour.
* '''Object:'''Modifies objects' outline colour and transitions.
* '''Line:'''Modifies the ground's outline colour and transitions.
* '''Ground:'''Modifies the ground's body colour and transitions.
* '''Colour1, Colour2, Colour3, Colour4:'''Modifies simple colours of objects.
* '''3DL:'''Modifies colour of 3D line effect.

==== Start Position ====
Re-positions the icon starting position elsewhere. Special options can determine the icon's attributes including forms or portal effects. Placing a starting position ahead of another will override any existing ones.
* Note that you cannot verify a level if you have a start position.

==== Player Trail ====
This enables a shadowing trail of your icons behind you as you play. You can either enable or disable this.
* The trail is the same colour as your primary colour.
* This does not override the rainbow trail earned for beating 10 Map Packs.

==== Transition Blocks ====
These blocks are used to change how the level moves and transitions when playing in practice/normal mode. They can be found by moving to the second tab in the colour options. These are (as of 1.9):
* No transition.
* Blocks will appear moving downwards and disappear moving upwards
* Blocks will appear moving upwards and disappear moving downwards
* Blocks will appear moving to the right and disappear moving from the right.
* Blocks will appear moving to the left and disappear moving from the left.
* Blocks will shrink to the left and grow from the right.
* Blocks will grow to the right and shrink from the left.
* Blocks will implode in front of you and explode behind you.
* Out of the seven BG and Ground textures, only four have been used in default levels: the standard "blocky" texture (used in Stereo Madness through Clubstep), the "Bubble" texture (used in Electrodynamix), the Hexagon texture (used in Hexagon Force and[[Blast Processing]]) and the Vortex texture (used in[[Theory of Everything 2]]). As well as this, the zig-zagging ground texture (added in 1.7) wasn't used in a main level until 1.9, for ToE II.
* There are eight kinds of difficulty levels in a custom level. N/A (not approved), Auto, Easy, Normal, Hard, Harder, Insane, and Demon.
'''Can't Let Go''' (spelled ''Cant Let Go'' in the level selection screen) is the sixth level in both [[Geometry Dash]] and [[Geometry Dash Lite]]. It was the first of many levels to be rated Insane, but the difficulty was changed to Hard in [[Update 1.9]].
== Description ==
Can't Let Go is considerably more difficult than the first five levels. The first cube sequence is requires greater precision needed to execute jumps through tight spike arrangements, as well as a couple of deceiving jump rings. The second half of the sequence abruptly drops the player into a rapid sliding and jumping section that lasts for a while. Following is a ship sequence of mild difficulty, although it is possible to collide with the exit passage that sticks inwards. A tough antigravity sequence with the cube - now involving jump rings - marks the hardest challenge encountered up until this point. Normal gravity is restored towards the end with a few tricky jumps to tackle.

== Secret Coins ==
* The first secret coin is after the second yellow jump pad and before the speech (THREE!). After you pass the pad and spike ramp: from the spiked platform, jump up twice and you will drop to the secret coin and then continue to the normal path.
* The second coin is on the ship sequence. Fly through the platforms, then fly to the top of the spike platform.
* The third coin is right after the ship ends. In opposite gravity, when you go up a staircase, jump on the last staircase. You will go through some gravity pads, but then after the purple pad (not introduced until [[Theory of Everything]]), immediately jump again to risk the collision of the spike.
== Trivia ==
* At the first bit with two yellow jump bits, it is possible to only jump on one if timed correctly and the player can ride on the spiked wall. The level can be continued as normal.
* The location of the first [[Secret Coins|secret coin]] acts as a safer shortcut.
* Can't Let Go can be beaten in 01:23 without dying.
* Can't Let Go was rated Insane before 1.9, but it is now rated hard.

==Level overview==
Introduced in update 1.60 along with [[Electroman Adventures]], and giving 14 stars upon completion, Clubstep is commonly regarded as one of the hardest levels in normal mode (if user content is included). It is currently the only Demon level in the Geometry Dash levels list. Many of the obstacles require going through or around so-called demons. Clubstep introduces lots of new items, including invisible spikes, invisible blocks, and fake spikes.

==Trivia==

*Clustep is considered the most difficult official level.
*Clubstep has 6 ship portals, however it only has one gravity ball portal and two UFO portals.
*Most levels give a color in Practice mode, and an [[Icon Kit|icon]] in Normal mode. For Clubstep it is the opposite.
*The name "Clubstep" is a pun on ''dubstep'', which is also the type of music playing during the level.
*Just before the first ship portal on the invisible blocks. A gap in the map can be seen at the bottom of the screen.
*If you jump right before the first ship portal instead of hitting the gravity pad, you can fly upside down in the first part of the flying section.
* At 53 seconds and 63 seconds into the level there are large unfilled areas you can see.
