Deadlocked is the twentieth and currently the last official level of Geometry Dash, and the third level to be rated Demon as of Update 2.0. It is unlocked upon collecting 30 secret coins.

Description
Deadlocked shows a variety of new map components. Most notable are the green jump rings which reverse the character's gravity and add momentum. This is the equivalent of hitting the blue and yellow jump ring at the same time or hitting a yellow ring in a blue or yellow gravity portal. It also showcased the teleportation portals, in which you enter a blue teleportation portal, and exit through its corresponding orange teleportation portal. The colour of the teleportation portals assume a Portal reference. There are also moving blocks, which were introduced in the previous level. The most attractive part of the level is at the second UFO sequence, when monsters appear, shooting lasers.
Secret Coins
*The first secret coin is unique compared to others, as it requires a key before it can be acquired. In the first ship sequence, a key is placed high up above the moving squares. Once successfully retrieved, it opens an area in the fourth cube sequence which allows the player to grab the coin. Failure to retrieve the key will keep this passage blocked and the player will be forced to take the alternate route situated below it.
*The second secret coin appears during the second Robot sequence. There will be a two-block wide pillar sticking out from the ground. Instead of flying to the top of the pillar, you must drop down and jump shortly after to collect the coin. To return to the normal path, you must jump on top of a disappearing block. This is considered slightly easier than the normal path.
*The final secret coin appears during the second UFO sequence, where monsters are shooting lasers at the player. Before the first laser is fired, try to get close to the top. There will be a saw blade, tap twice, wait a second and tap again, the coin will be acquired. Try to get down quickly as there will be another laser fired shortly after.

Trivia
*Deadlocked was the fourth level to have a slow portal. the first was Hexagon Force, the second was Theory of Everything 2, and the third was Geometrical Dominator.
*This level showcased the infinite color channels, activating beneath and above the green jump rings, and whenever the player landed on a platform.
*Deadlocked is the second level to feature a triple speed portal. The first was Electrodynamix.
**It is also the first level to have multiple triple speed portals.
*Deadlocked has the earliest form change, changing to a mini dart within the first seconds of the level.
**It also has the shortest segment of a certain form, with the first mini dart segment only lasting around 0.75 seconds long.
*This is the second level that does not have a coin in its ship sequence after Electrodynamix.
**However, the key to access the first coin is collected in a ship sequence.
*This level also makes an interesting use of moving objects and monsters to create "enemies" in the second UFO part. The monsters appear to follow the player, shooting "lasers" from their mouths that the player must avoid. This is similar to an obstacle in the game Jetpack Joyride.
*The practice mode achievement, "Living Open", is the opposite on words of "Deadlocked".
* It takes 1:39 to complete this level.
* Deadlocked is the second level where you can transform in every currently available form, the first one being Geometrical Dominator.
* Two rewards (All 3 Coins and completing Deadlocked) are references of Marvel and DC Superheros (Iron Man Robot and Batman Icon), while there is also a Deadpool icon that is not related to Deadlocked whatsoever.

Walkthrough
Errors
Decorational Errors
*When you crash at the last green orb at the second cube sequence, you can see that the top areas to the left and right are unfilled.
*In the last ball part, single "orbs" can be seen at the top and bottom of the level. But in the middle of the ball part at the top, two of those "orbs" can be seen overlapping each other. This may or may not be intended.

Structural Errors
* At the second Dart segment, if you hit the last green ring before the Dart portal a bit late and hold your jump key, you might be able to play the sequence at a normal speed than a triple speed and the music will be out of sync. A similar error is found in Theory of Everything 2, however, in Theory of Everything 2, the erroneous path was detrimental, whereas this error is beneficial.
** It is also possible to get a similar error in Hexagon Force, though it is quite hard to do so. Once again, you will be actually traveling faster than normal.
** Also, if timed correctly, hitting the second last green orb in the first cube part and missing the last green orb allows the player to slide up an upper slope in antigravity in cube form and go through the wave segment, but you will crash against the lower slope when you reach the antigravity portal.
* At 8%, you can jump over a gravity pad instead of hitting it and continue the level by hitting the gravity ring.
* It is possible to collect the first coin without the key. This can be done by going slightly under the key, so close to it that the path with the coin will be accessible. This happens because the key has a smaller hitbox than other touch triggered objects, so the move or toggle object, whichever one is there, is triggered without actually getting the key, as shown here.

* If you notice, the second orange portal has a yellow jump pad peeking on the left of it.
* At 9%, if timed correctly, after going through the teleport portal, it is possible to hit the yellow jump pad before touching the gravity portal, therefore causing a crash.
* During the second ball segment, at 37%, you are able to skip a teleport portal and a green ring if timed right.
* At the first ball segment, it is possible to slip under the ball portal and remain as a mini ship.
** If you survive through the ball sequence, it is also possible to go through the UFO sequence as a mini ship too.
* At the first robot segment, you can skip a gravity portal and a teleportation portal by holding longer.
* During the first mini cube sequence, if you jump late instead of hitting the last gravity ring before the teleportation portal, you will see a jump pad in the the orange part of the portal and continue as normal.
* At the first teleport portal set after the first secret coin location, it is possible to hit the first gravity ring and survive by landing on the edge of the pillar.
* Around the second secret coin area, RobTop has left an "alternative route". After falling down from the pillar into the secret area as normal, instead of making a small jump to reach the coin, make a large jump, but don't touch the green orb. If timed correctly, you will realize that you can enter a overhanging pillar (with fire on both sides), as it is hollow. You can jump off this pillar and continue normally, although this won't do anything.
**It is also possible to get the 2nd coin while tapping on the green jump ring. However, this will kill you if you collect the coin.
**Sometimes, making a very small jump before hitting the green orb will cause the player to propel in a certain direction to obtain the coin but land safely and not die.
**In the first cube segment you can go on the third antigravity jump ring and continue normally.
*Jumping too late into the third teleportation portal in the level can make the player crash.
*After going through the second teleportation portal at around 9%, the jump ring marked with an "X" can be hit with precise timing and not make the player crash.
**If the player goes through the second teleportation portal late, then they will be forced to hit this jump ring and doing this will always result in a crash.
*Sometimes, during the first ball segment, hitting the first orb too late will cause the player to go too high up, activating the first monster trap, but not killing the player. They will then be forced to hit another orb, which will immediately cause the player to crash by throwing them into the second monster trap.
Description
xStep introduces blue pads and blue rings/circles on the regular path. The icon assumes three different forms through the level— the cube, rocket, and gravity ball. It is similar to Cycles in difficulty and features multiple tight rocket scenes. xStep is also the level that uses the greatest number of blue pads out of any level in the game, present throughout almost the entire second ship scene. The level also introduces full checker bricks and another block (previously seen while getting the second coin in Jumper). The level also introduces wavy platforms along with the wavy thorns.

Secret coins
*The first secret coin is located in the first ship sequence. After the last thorn-ball before a stepped wall, carefully fly into the small space between the thorn-ball and the wall to collect the secret coin. Immediately push to fly up and clear the wall quickly, but take care not to crash above.
*The second secret coin is located in the second ship sequence. In the last part of it, containing the spiked passage, slip your ship into a small hole. Keep on holding it up.Then go out the hole in the other end and go through a cube portal shortly afterward.
*The last coin is in the cube sequence after the second ship one. After flipping gravity, your cube will approach a gravity pad that is slightly elevated with some spikes before it. You have to miss the gravity pad and the spikes. If you jump from too far away, you will hit the gravity pad, which is the normal route. Once you have achieved a far enough jump, get ready to tap on a mid-air gravity ring, otherwise you will crash into a suspended platform with spikes on it. Once you have done that, you will reach the coin and fall into the regular course. Immediately jump again to clear off a jump ring.

Trivia
*xStep is one of the two levels to grant block icons for both Practice and Normal, the other one is Cycles.
*xStep is the only level name to begin with a lowercase letter.
* xStep is the shortest level name, at 5 letters.
* The wavy platforms first appear in this level although they are in several coin paths in the first 6 levels.
*xStep marks the gradual introduction of many new map components including blocks, pits and cosmetics.
* xStep, Electroman Adventures and Blast Processing all reward 10 stars if completed, although xStep and Electroman Adventures have the higher rating of Insane while Blast Processing has Harder.
* xStep is not the first level with gravity pads in it. First was in Back on Track and second was in Polargeist, used to collect secret coins.
* The level takes 1:24 to complete.
* It is possible to fall out of the world, as seen here

Description
Back on Track is slightly harder than Stereo Madness, introducing yellow jump pads in the ways of both function and potential hazard. There is only one ship sequence midway through, and there are also no triple spikes. Retrieving the secret coins of this level is also relatively easy, both in finding and collecting.
Secret coins
*The first secret coin is located roughly three quarters the way through the section the background is dark pink, not too far before the first ship sequence. After descending a short flight of platforms onto a particularly outstretched one with a spike on it, jump twice up two more platforms before sliding to the ground to find a hidden gravity pad that will launch into the hovering coin.
*The second secret coin is located within the third large obstacle once engaging the ship sequence. Manoeuvre around the first two and fly up into the third to collect the coin inside. The background is purple where the coin is found.
*The third secret coin is located just after the point the background turns from pink to blue after the ship sequence, but must be led into beforehand. Following the travel through three block columns and three slim platforms close to the ground, jump twice up two platforms before sliding onto a partly concealled line platform below the main route. Be weary and jump over a short gap onto the second line platform to collect the coin and reach a jump pad to return back, but immediately jump again to clear an oncoming spike when landed.

Trivia
* Back on Track reveals the first gravity pad although not formally introduced, used to collect a secret coin. (Formerly introduced in xStep)
* The "on" in Back on Track is capitalized on its level selection item.
* Completing the level takes approximately 1 minute 22 seconds.
* Back on Track also reveals the first gravity portal although not formally introduced, used to collect a secret coin. (Formerly introduced in Dry Out)
* Back on Track is slightly harder than Stereo Madness, but on an average player's opinion Back on Track is easier than Stereo Madness. It's probably due to the absence of three-spikes.

The Icon Kit is a feature for cosmetically modifying the player's form of their 'icon' in Geometry Dash. Although there is no physical difference to gameplay, the player can select from a variety of visually appealing options, including icons for the cube, ship, ball and UFO all with their own unique icons. Colours can also be applied to make unique creations consisting of a primary and secondary colour. However, the two chosen colours remain consistent between all forms, disallowing multiple colour schemes.

By completing Achievements, more colours and icons can be obtained.
*The icons primary color will also be used in the progress bar if turned on.
* There are a total of 42 cube icons, 16 ship icons, 8 ball icons, and 8 UFO icons. At the time the number of triangle icons is unknown.
*Choosing black as the primary color will change what is normally the black outline into the secondary color. Several other changes occur which mostly applies the secondary color to map components in place of the black.
*Update 1.7 added a special option unlocked by completing 10 map packs, which is a rainbow trail emitted behind the player.
* Update 1.7 had a sneak peek picture that featured a ball that never came to game. But, that ball had 35 secret coin ball in it and the 70 secret coin ball is nearly the same, so the ball nearly came to game.
*Cycles and xStep are the only levels where you can get icons both in Normal Mode and Practice Mode.
* The icon unlocked by completing Hexagon Force in Normal Mode is a reference of a Creeper, a popularized enemy creature from the game Minecraft.
* Update 1.8 added secrets to the game. Unlocking the second secret will reveal how to get 2 icons.

Jumper is the seventh level in Geometry Dash. It is the second level rated insane. Jumper is also the last level in Geometry Dash Lite. It is also the regarded as the hardest level in the lite version.

Description
Jumper puts together many successive slides and jumps with a fast pace during its cube sequences, its name possibly in reference. Only moments after starting, antigravity initiates for a small section, previewing the frequent shifts in gravity that happen constantly in later levels. After another slippery cube section, the scene changes into an introductory ship sequence that applies antigravity during its second and fourth quarters. This turns into another cube sequence that moves into a tight passage with numerous gravity shifts, coming out again and once more with a ship sequence of scattered single-spiked blocks. The final cube sequence persists with one last switch to antigravity, ending the level that way.

Trivia
**It is believed that the soundtrack use in Jumper is the only soundtrack in the game that hasn't been edited. The fact is RobTop clipped the last 12 seconds of the original audio for the level.
*This level uses the Waterflame's "Jumper," which is a theme also used in many other video games, like Castle Crashers.
**It also has the oldest soundtrack in the game, from 2005 (almost ten years older than the game itself).
**Prior to 1.8, Jumper was not in Geometry Dash Lite.
*Despite the very hard coin at the first ship sequence, the other ones are very easy to find and to get.
* There are 2 blocks In secret coin areas that should not be in the levels yet.

Description
Polargeist begins to extend the degree of jumping challenges, also introducing the yellow jump ring. More complex block patterns with combinations of jumping and sliding rely on greater concentration. The single ship sequence in the middle of the level features scattered blocks along the passage. One set of triple spikes is encountered right before the end of the level.

Secret coins
*The first secret coin is located towards the end of the ship sequence. Fly close to the roof while avoiding suspended blocks and it will come up near a small group of them. The music gives an indication, as the coin is positioned exactly when the high note plays.
*The second secret coin is located beyond a series of ascending then descending steps leading towards spaced platforms with a spike in between every second one, some distance past the ship sequence. From contact with the ground, jumping four times and then dropping down will land on a brief line platform. Immediately jumping again will clear a gap and reveal an exposed section of the approaching column with a jump pad beside it, with the coin on the way back up to the main route. The background is blue where the coin is located.
*The third secret coin is located high above the main route after hitting a hidden gravity pad positioned beside an elevated platform. The background begins to darken right when the platform approaches as the music also reverts to the starting phase of the song. Two spiked blocks hang above the platform. Reaching the gravity pad is particularly difficult, requiring an estimated jump to vault a spike while also avoiding overshooting the gravity pad. To successfully perform the maneuver, jump from around the center of the starting platform, although precision is required to land correctly. After being spurted up into a gravity portal, prepare for a midair jump ring just before the coin, and get ready to jump straight after returning to the ground onto another jump ring on the main route.

Trivia
*This is the only main level that is rated as hard.
* The name "Polargeist" is a pun on Poltergeist, and Altergeist, otherwise a ghost.
* Aside for Introducing Jump Rings this Level introduces the function (and editor items) that allows for a "shadow" (or "ghost") behind the player's icon.
* A blue gravity pad appears in Polargeist to get a secret coin. Blue gravity pads were not supposed to be introduced until xStep.
* Polargeist is the only one of Step's songs in Geometry dash.
Base After Base is the fifth level in both Geometry Dash and Geometry Dash Lite. Along with Dry Out and Blast Processing, its difficulty is rated harder.

Description
Base After Base continues with around the same difficulty as Dry Out, featuring increasingly harder jumping patterns and an antigravity section. The second half of the first cube sequence has high jumps and is trickier to judge, also with hazardous jump pads before moving to the ship sequence. This is more "hall-based" than those of previous levels, with a smaller passage and spikes on alternating sides. Next the cube takes a moment to flip upwards with antigravity, although this sequence is somewhat easier to predict than the one in Dry Out. Returning to normal gravity turns towards a final few jumps leading to completion.

Secret Coin Location
* The first one is found after the first time the background turns red. After you jump on the ring, you will slide down and a large flat form will block you. Instead of jumping over, slide down the hole and then you will get the coin and slide down the jump pad and return to the normal path.
* The second one is located after the background turns completely black. After jumping many flat-forms, the next two flat-forms, there is a spike and a space which you will avoid. Instead of avoiding it, try to jump over the spike and through the space and there will be an antigravity portal and the coin that you will get and an antigravity jump pad to help you get back to the normal path.
* Last one is located after black background turns purple and you fly with ship. When the tunnel starts, after three first spikes you must lift your ship up and wait until you reach path to coin. Hold the ship up until you have collected the coin and then go down into normal path.
Trivia
* The achievement unlocked by completing the level in Practice Mode may refer to the popular catchphrase “All Your Base Are Belong to Us” from the Game Zero Wing.
