Theory of Everything 2, often referred to as ToE 2, is the eighteenth and currently the last official level in Geometry Dash. It was released in Update 1.9. It is also the second official Demon-rated level, the other being Clubstep, released in Update 1.6. It is unlocked upon collecting 30 secret coins. It is preceded by Blast Processing, and was released at the same time as it. Theory of Everything 2 is considered to be one of the hardest levels among the main 18, the other being Clubstep. Which one of the two is harder is a subject of debate, and discussions on several sources have just argued back and forth. It is a matter of personal opinion.

Description
Theory of Everything 2's music is the sequel for the Theory of Everything theme. This level introduces Wave sequences at double speed as well as a mini Wave sequence at slow speed. It's the second level to introduce the Wave feature and the first level to introduce the mini Wave. This level contains no Dual portals.
Secret Coin Location
* The first secret coin is located at the first mini ship sequence. After you go through an inverted-gravity portal, immediately hold then let go. You will go down then get back up to the normal-gravity portal. If you go down too low, you will hit a spike or a block.
* The second secret coin is located at the second wave sequence. After you maneuver through the third diagonal hallway, try to make your wave form go down through a small entrance to get the secret coin. It is one of the hardest coins to get, as it also requires precision and control to complete the Wave after collecting the coin, as the wave is at double speed and the opening is extremely tiny for the Wave to enter.
* The third secret coin is hidden above the course. After you exit the reversed gravity ship section (the one after the slowed cube sequence), jump on the two jump rings, even the one marked with an "X". If you do this, you will land on a platform. Then perform a jump, collect the coin, and jump again on the edge of the platform to exit safely before you enter the last UFO sequence. This sounds easy, but it is hard without practice, since the timing is critical. If you do not jump at the edge, you will land before the platform and crash. Since this part is fast-paced, it is also quite difficult to jump off the edge of a platform. If you are too late, the cube will just fall off the platform without making the jump and you will also crash.

Trivia
* In Theory of Everything, all of the portals that existed when the course was released could be found in the level. However, in Theory of Everything 2, there are not any mirror or dual portals (mirror portals were last used in Electroman Adventures, and dual portals were last used in Blast Processing).
* In the half-pipe at the end, a monster that resembles the monsters in the Update 2.0 preview can be seen with an eye (blue ring) and an open mouth to slide through.
** The icon unlocked for completing Theory of Everything 2 also resembles the Update 2.0 monsters, and it resembles the Blast Processing icon. The only difference is that the ToE 2 icon has more "teeth", and they are arranged in a different pattern.
*Completing the level takes about 1:32. However, if you use the first UFO speed glitch (refer to errors), it will take around 1:30 to complete.
** This level and Hexagon Force are the only official levels to include a slow speed portal.
*This is the first time breakable blocks were in a level since Electroman Adventures.
*In the sneak peek for Theory of Everything 2, the spikes at the beginning didn't change from Player Color 1 to white to Player Color Color 2 to white to Player Color 2.

Errors
* The level's very first 'pillar' that hangs from the sky can be seen slightly unfilled during a crash, but it requires crucial timing to see. See here for picture.
* There is an error at the start of the level. If timed correctly, you can jump on the second yellow ring (which is covered by an X) and the continue to jump on the third yellow ring (without an X). But if you do this, you will crash. See here for more info.
* During the slow ship segment, at about 39%, there is a design error where one of the shaded blocks is slightly pushed to the left.
* There is an error in the first mini ship section of this level. You can skip the third gravity portal and the slow speed portal by going under them. If you skip the speed portal, however, crucial timing will be needed to pass the UFO sequence that follows. If you manage to pass it, the music will be out of sync.
** In the final mini UFO part, it is also possible to skip the gravity portal by going under it.
* There is a 'secret path' in the mini ship section after the second wave segment. You can skip the cube portal and remain a mini ship. At 80%, you will still be a mini ship. However, when you reach the cube, you will remain mini and crash because you cannot make the first jump of that section. See this video
* If you do not jump on the last blue ring on the slow cube, you will fall to the ceiling and crash as there is no saw blade.
* At the first mini ship sequence, when you are about to go through those first two spikes, you might notice the smaller one on the bottom is pushed a little to the right.
** Also, if you crash before the first secret coin, you can see that the diagonal block on the roof does not actually connect with the horizontal block.
* Before the first wave section, you can see that the top of the wave section is unfilled.
Elements from the level were later used in Base After Base.

Description
What is shown of the level includes many basic elements. Jump pads, jump rings and gravity portals also make a first appearance, as well the ship form. A notable aspect that differs from normal is that while flying the ship, the drop-down roof had not yet been implemented to contain it to the static view and could be flown outside of visibility. The trailer only shows the first two thirds of the level.

Trivia
*Ultimate Destruction was never intended to be released as an official level, nor was the soundtrack planned to be used again afterwards.
*The cube icon seen in the preview is normally unlocked by completing Can't Let Go.
*Despite the soundtrack not being used for an official level, Update 1.9 introduced the ability to select it for custom levels.
*In the gallery below, an image shows 'Ultiate Destruction' instead of Ultimate Destruction in the level selection menu. This occurs at the very start of the trailer right before transitioning to the level demonstration.
*Also in the gallery below are a few of the original designs for various level elements. This shows that Ultimate Destruction was previewed in the trailer during later development of the game.

Description
Can't Let Go is considerably more difficult than the first five levels.

The first cube sequence requires greater precision to execute jumps through tight spike arrangements. It also has some deceiving jump rings, forcing the user to hit the correct jump ring at the right spot.

Then, the background turns black, and the second half of the cube sequence abruptly drops the player into a rapid sliding and jumping section that lasts for a while.

Following that is a ship sequence of mild difficulty, although it is possible to collide with the exit passage that sticks inwards.

A tough antigravity sequence with the cube - now involving jump rings - marks the hardest challenge encountered up until this point.

Normal gravity is restored towards the end with a few tricky jumps to tackle.

Secret coins
* The first secret coin is after the second yellow jump pad and before the speech (Three!). After you are launched from pad and to the spike ramp: from the spiked platform, jump up twice and you will drop to the secret coin and then continue to the normal path.
* The second coin is on the ship sequence. Fly through the platforms. When you see a block with spikes in front of it, fly to the top of the top. Then continue as normal.
* The third coin is right after the ship ends. When you see a spiked platform, you're supposed to jump over it. Instead, jump on the last staircase. After the purple pad (not introduced until Theory of Everything), immediately jump again to risk the collision of the spike.

Walkthrough
Trivia
*This level has an error with the name "Cant Let Go", without the " ' " between n and t.
* At the first bit with two yellow jump rings, it is possible to only jump on one if timed correctly and the player can ride on the spiked wall. The level can be continued as normal.
*The location of the first secret coin acts as a safer shortcut.
*It takes approximately 1:23 to complete this level.
*Can't Let Go was rated Insane before 1.9, but it is now rated hard, which is two tiers down.
* In the first secret coin path, a wavy platform not introduced until xStep is seen.
*There is a shortcut in Can't Let Go. After seeing two spikes hanging above you (after the first secret coin), jump up once and you will fall to the last yellow boost of the secret coin path.
*Can't Let Go was the only classic level that wasn't teased in the trailer (Stereo Madness-Base After Base were teased in the achievements and Polargeist and Jumper were teased as a song). • Hence this, it is possible this was before Ultimate Destruction was definitely not in–game so it might have not been the only level.

Description
Time Machine is the first level not to appear in the Lite Version. It does not introduce many new elements; however, it is considerably more difficult than Jumper overall. It does, however, introduce the Mirror Portal, which changes the direction in which the player is moving (from right to left instead of left to right).

It starts off with a few simple jumps in cube form, but then becomes a bit tricky with some triple-spike jumps. In fact, this entire level is notorious for these jumps. A little while into the level, the screen changes blue and the player enters into a tricky section with groups of spikes, close jumps, and yellow jump pads. This section lasts for four phrases in the soundtrack. Afterwards, the player hits a mirror portal which looks like three rings of different sizes next to each other, and it orange in color. After a bit more of the cube, the player enters a short ship section which requires some control. Then, there is a somewhat longer cube section which comprises the bulk of the level. This starts going in mirror, flips back to anti-mirror with a blue portal and also goes in antigravity, again flips to mirror, then back to no mirror. After this back-and-forth action, the level finally ends with a short ship section which goes into anti-gravity at the very end.

Secret coins
* The first secret coin is after the second blue gravity portal. After you pass the portal and jump pass the spike, jump on the platform and collect the secret coin.
* The second secret coin is located on the first ship sequence. Fly through the center block and then collect the secret coin; sounds easy but hard.
* The third coin is after the blue mirror portal (flipped upside-down, on the last yellow pad). To get it, don't jump on the platform. Be prepared to jump midair on the purple jump rings. Also be prepared to jump past the two-spike.
* Holding jump from the start will allow you to jump on the hanging spike wall. Still holding jump will allow you to jump off and continue as normal, like the second secret coin in Dry Out.
* This is the first level introduced with an update, Update 1.1.
* This level also reveals the first pink rings although not introduced yet officially introduced in Theory of Everything).
It is generally regarded as the easiest stage in the game, being one of two levels rated easy along with Back on Track. Stereo Madness is also featured in Geometry Dash Lite.

Description
Stereo Madness begins with a basic cube sequence featuring spikes and simple jumping patterns. It continues with an introductory sequence of the ship form. The next cube sequence is slightly harder, also introducing triple spike sets which are encountered twice. The level ends after finishing with another ship sequence.

Secret coins
*The first secret coin is located immediately after the first ship sequence by jumping twice up the first two columns, sliding through a gap in the third column and jumping again. Alternatively, jumping thrice up the first three columns and sliding down under the fourth also works. The background is purple where the coin is found.
*The second secret coin is located roughly midway through the section with the red background. After travelling upon four adjacent thin platforms, jump four times up onto a line of descending blocks which would normally be travelled beneath. To safely collect the coin, jump off the second last block to avoid a short spike on the last block.
*The third secret coin is oddly situated above the main passage during the final ship sequence. After avoiding the first roof obstacle, enter a small crevice just before the second roof obstacle, free of an extra block. The screen will shift and turn red to reveal a narrow upper section with very close-contained spikes. There is a safe break about three quarters of the way through, before one last spike section, followed by clearance to the third coin and an alternate finish.

Walkthrough
Trivia
*Reaching the end of the third secret coin passage is the only instance where the player can divert from the main passage and end somewhere different. The segment was also made easier in Update 1.9, mainly having the part with spikes on both sides changed to only have spikes on the bottom.
*Completing the level takes 1 minute and 29 seconds.
* The path to the third secret coin is the only one with a form portal.
It was rated Insane originally but changed to Harder in Update 1.9. Jumper is also the last level in Geometry Dash Lite. It is also the regarded as the hardest level (Insane) in the lite version.

Description
Jumper puts together many successive slides and jumps with a fast pace during its cube sequences, its name possibly in reference. Only moments after starting, antigravity initiates for a small section, previewing the frequent shifts in gravity that happen constantly in later levels. After another slippery cube section, the scene changes into an introductory ship sequence that applies antigravity during its second and fourth quarters. This turns into another cube sequence that moves into a tight passage with numerous gravity shifts, coming out again and once more with a ship sequence of scattered single-spiked blocks. The final cube sequence persists with one last switch to antigravity, ending the level that way.

Secret coins
*The first secret coin is in the second upside-down flying segment. It is behind the first wall, you only have 1 block of space to fly through so be careful.
*The second coin is through a transparent block at the peak of a flat-form hill. After passing it, jump two times, wait a sec, and jump to avoid spikes.
*The third and final coin is in the last flying segment. Fly low, after 2 continuous flying spikes on the bottom layer, go under the spike in the middle layer, collect the coin, and go.
Walkthrough
Trivia
*It is believed that the soundtrack use in Jumper is the only soundtrack in the game that hasn't been edited. The fact is RobTop clipped the last 12 seconds of the original audio for the level. But it is now believed that Jumper is the least clipped soundtrack.
*This level uses the Waterflame's "Jumper," which is a theme also used in many other video games, like Castle Crashers.
**It also has the oldest soundtrack in the game, from 2005 (almost ten years older than the game itself).
***However, custom music can go as far back as 2003.
* Because of the Update 1.9 change, there are no insane levels in the Lite Version, with Jumper being harder and Can't Let Go being hard.
* Completing the level takes 1:29.
Previews
Prior to the release of Update 1.8, Topala said in a conversation at Touch Arcade Forums:

<blockquote>"I have a lot of ideas for update 1.9 that could be huge for the game, but more on that after I release 1.8... muahaha"
</blockquote>

On August 13, 2014, Topala posted his first Update 1.9 preview image, which shows five icons wearing different-colored headphones. This made way for much anticipation throughout the Geometry Dash community, resulting in theories involving soundtrack changes within a level and new game modes.

On August 26, 2014, Topala created another image depicting three-dimensional blocks, arousing much excitement among Geometry Dash players. He continued with the idea on August 28, posting a picture on Facebook about what could be built using the blocks.

On September 6, 2014, another image was posted through Topala's social media accounts featuring several different new map components that would be used in future levels of Geometry Dash. This included two new icons, gear-like obstacles, and various different unknown types of blocks. The most prominent feature was a new thick blue portal that would likely result in another game mode being introduced. It was also released to the public that Topala would release the game to Steam, a popular internet-based social media platform.

On September 14, 2014, Topala posted yet another image onto his social media accounts. It has a blast and processor for Blast Processing by Waterflame and a book, an infinity symbol, and a "2" for Theory of Everything 2 by DJ Nate, with the latter likely to be the demon level, following similar lines to Update 1.6.

On September 21, 2014, another image was posted through Facebook and Twitter. This image introduced a new custom music feature that would allow players to include music from Newgrounds in their custom levels. The image includes ten icons with headphones at the bottom. It was the first picture to indicate that the update was a work in progress. Upon the release of the image, Topala said that a sneak peek video for the next levels would be coming soon.

On September 28, 2014, Topala officially released the first Update 1.9 sneak peek video, which showed the first 21 seconds of Blast Processing. As seen in the video, the new blue portal changed the icon to an arrow-like object with physics similar to those seen in the mobile game Wave Wave.

On October 10, 2014, he released another sneak peek video featuring the second level, Theory of Everything 2. In this video, a new background and a new design of ship was used. Topala was also playing the game on his computer, indicating that he may have been using the future Steam version.

On October 18, 2014, Topala confirmed that the update would be released soon after he had fixed a minor issues in the backup and music systems. He also said he was working on the Steam version, and hinted on Update 2.0, stating that he will continue improving the user account system devised in 1.9.

On November 4, 2014, Topala posted that the update was submitted for review and was waiting to be accepted.

On November 9, 2014, almost three months after Update 1.9 was first mentioned, Topala confirmed the release of 1.9 and stated that it would release to iOS and Android devices around the same time, and the Steam version would be released as soon as possible.

On November 13, 2014, Update 1.9 was released to the Windows Phone App Store.

On November 14, 2014, Update 1.91 was released to all devices. This was a minor update that fixed a few bugs.

On November 15, 2014 update 1.9 was released on Amazon devices.

On January 18, 2015 update 1.92 was released on Google Play. This included some new options and fixed few Custom Song bugs.

Trivia
* The new arrow-like form, known as the Wave, was inspired by the mechanics of the mobile game Wave Wave. It is supposed the concept was brought to light by a popular Geometry Dash player, Darnoc, who created a level (also named Wave Wave), mimicking its mechanics using condensed groups of gravity rings and the UFO.
* This is the first update to include a sequel of a main level song: Theory of Everything 2
* This is the second update that includes two new main levels. (1.6 with Electroman Adventures and Clubstep, and now 1.9 with Blast Processing and Theory of Everything 2)
* Both Update 1.6 and Update 1.9 featured music from both Waterflame and DJ Nate.
* Some people thought that Eternity would be Level 18, but that was later proven false when the Theory of Everything 2 preview came out.
* Many users thought that Update 1.9 would be released on Halloween, but the update ended up being released 9 days later.
Portals are special map components in Geometry Dash. They modify the way the player interacts with the level, and can also change the cube into different forms.
Manipulation portals
The following portals change the way the player interacts with the level:
As seen in the 2.0 teaser, these portals appear to teleport to another portal.
Notes
*The size portal affects individual forms in different ways. The cube loses jumping height but can perform successive jumps quicker. The UFO also loses jumping height and takes less time to begin descending, and the Wave makes a steeper angle than before. However, what is applicable to all forms is the same constant speed which is unchanging from the enlarged state, but gives the impression that while shrunken, the icons move quicker as a result of looking small.
*The slow speed portal was in Hexagon Force following the initially released speed portals. The speed portals were actually in Update 1.7, in Electrodynamix.
*The copy from a copy portal inverts the chosen colour scheme. While a copy is existent, a collision will terminate the original, and vice versa, with each icon fully able to interact with its surroundings.
*When the icon enters a manipulation portal, the screen often flashes in an unusual manner. The gravity pads also act in the same way.
* The mirror portal effect is purely visual, and as such is not seen in the editor.

Form Portals
The following portals change the form of the player:
Stereo Madness
60
Changes the icon into a cube.
Pink
Stereo Madness
10
Changes the icon into a ship.
Ball
Red
Cycles
Changes the icon into a ball.
Wave
Blast Processing
10
Changes the icon into a wave.

Notes
*Players still have the ability to use jump rings in the forms.
* If the cube form goes above the 60-playing-area space in anti-gravity or in such ways to reach it, it acts like a hazard and makes the player die. This can be seen in a glitch in the start of xStep.

Trivia
*Gravity and mirror are the only options not available to begin in a custom level. But gravity can still be changed from start position.
*By entering a Form Portal that is used to transform you into the same form you were in before entering, you can shift the playing area either higher or lower, as long as the second Form Portal is place higher or lower than the first one. This trick is used to enter the alternate route for the third secret coin in Stereo Madness.
* The size portal is the only manipulation portal that does not use blue as a deactivation portal, instead it uses green.
** In this small form, the cube and ball forms are manipulated by changing the detail from its original form to one that resembles the very first type from their icon kits respectively.
* All portals (except the speed portals which are not three-dimensional) have an effect in the Level Editor, where only a part of the portal is shown.
