Cataclysm is a demon level by Ggb0y created in 1.9. It is featured and is arguably the second hardest featured level in Geometry Dash.

Description
This level is a Demon level, but goes beyond the difficulty of a Demon level. It is considered an "Extreme Demon", which means that it goes far beyond a Demon's difficulty. This causes very few people to be able to complete Cataclysm in Normal Mode without cheats.

The level's main background color is black, with the colors of most of the objects being red or orange. Bloodbath is inspired of this level.

Gameplay
The level starts off with a fairly simple cube, with a few tricks. It then turns into a hard double speed wave that has tight spaces, many size change portals, and rather awkward timing. It then turns into an auto segment, briefly into a cube, and then into a very hard triple speed ship with gravity portals and many invisible size portals that require very light tapping and good transition controlling to avoid death. It changes back into a mini wave at half speed, but is easier than the first wave as it is not double speed, albeit having even tighter spaces. The player then changes into a double speed ball that requires very good timing and jitter clicks, then goes half speed and goes through very tight spaces, with a few speed changes to try and throw the player off. The ball then transitions to a double speed UFO with many jump rings, gravity portals and tight spaces that require crucial timing. This UFO then transitions to a half speed rocket that requires insanely straight flying, and also has jump rings and gravity portals. The ship then transitions into a double speed cube that needs good timing, then turns into a half speed mini cube that mostly requires a little bit of mashing, before heading into the halfway section of Cataclysm, where the player becomes a ball that needs a little bit of jitter clicking and good timing. This is normally the easiest part of Cataclysm. However, the level becomes dark and it becomes hard to see where the player is going, and switches to the cube and ship a few times before going back to a ball, which can throw off players not used to the section. The level then goes into Cataclysm's last two hard sections, which are a very difficult ship and a tight half speed wave. The half speed ship is very difficult, having extremely tight spaces, size changes. and a short double section halfway through the ship. After this ship, the level goes into the last part of the level, which is a tight spaced half speed wave. Multiple players are known for crashing here, either out of nervousness and anxiety, or just screwing it up. After this moderately difficult wave, it goes into a robot section with a secret coin, and the level ends as a ship, with the well known area that says "GBOY", the creator's name, and "U NEED TO REST", finishing with "GG" and a two block space to fly through but requires to keep straight from flying as if there were spikes before ending. After that, a hall of fame of those who have finished the level legitimately can be seen and a message of Gboy admitting of hacking it and lastly thanking Riot for verifying the level and adding coins, from which the level ends.

User Coins
This level has 3 user coins. The first and last ones require good timing to obtain, but the second one is fairly easy to get with good memory and straight fly.
* The first coin is fairly easy to get with good timing. You must hit a blue orb, and you will get a coin. A teleportation portal will send you back on course.
* The second one is probably the easiest of the coins. At the first segment in the dual ship, fly in between the spiked area to get the coin. You will exit the little space and continue the level.
* The third coin is most likely the hardest coin to get. It requires very good timing. You must hit the last blue jump ring in such a way that it will throw you through the gravity portal and swing back down enough to get the last coin.

Trivia
*Ggb0y had to hack to verify this map. However, until the harder update of Cataclysm, Riot has legitimately verified the level.
*This is one of very few demon levels hacked to get the intended demon rating.
*Other players like Lyra Bandicoot also had to hack to complete the map. This sparked a lot of debate which resulted in many users uploading videos on how to spot hackers of the game.
*This is one of the hardest maps, the hardest most likely being the wall. However, the hardest recognized official map is actually Bloodbath.
*Riot is the first player confirmed to have beaten Cataclysm more than once, completing all three runs in livestreams, and the last one being a reverification of Cataclysm for Ggb0y to update coins into the level.
**Enlil was the first who completed the level without any hacks. The others were (in order) GironDavid (May 14), Sandstorm & Riot (both on May 20), PowerBomb (July 10), Creepy Dash (July 25), Maxis9 (15 October), Mrkebab (November 1), Smokes (November 4), Souls TRK (December 6) TheBestSwirl (December 10) Danilkaz (December 19) Elite (December 26) R3YGA (January 1st) Garomo (January 13th) and Mabby01 (January 14th).
*Sandstorm is the second player to beat the updated version of Cataclysm, getting all three coins in the process.
*Cyclic has followed Sandstorm's completion, beating Cataclysm again with all 3 coins.
*In some time about 2.0 an updated version was released with a robot form and black flames.

Crashes
*Cyclic crashed at 86% for moving the wave up too early.
*SoulsTRK crashed at 74% twice.
*Riot crashed accidentally after the last wave segment.
*Cyclic crashed multiple times at the dual rocket when trying to rebeat Cataclysm.
Deadlocked is the twentieth official level of Geometry Dash and the third level to be rated Demon as of Update 2.0. It is unlocked upon collecting 30 secret coins and is the first level to have a reward of more than 14 stars, with 15 stars as a reward.

Description
Deadlocked shows a variety of new map components. Most notable are the green rings which gradually revolve the character's gravity and add momentum. This is the equivalent of hitting the blue and yellow jump ring at the same time or hitting a yellow ring in a blue or yellow gravity portal. It also showcased the teleportation portals, in which you enter a blue teleportation portal you exit through an orange teleportation portal. The colour of the teleportation portals assume a Portal reference.
Secret Coins
*The first secret coin is unique compared to others, as it requires a key before it can be acquired. In the first ship, a key is placed high up above the moving squares, successfully retrieving it opens an area in the fourth cube which allows the player to grab the coin. Failure to retrieve the key will keep this passage blocked and the player will be forced to take an alternate route.
*The second secret coin appears during the second Robot sequence. There will be a two-block wide pillar sticking out from the ground. Instead of flying to the top of the pillar, you must drop down and jump shortly after to collect the coin. To return to the normal path, you must jump on top of a disappearing block. This is considered slightly easier than the normal path.
*The final secret coin appears during the second UFO sequence, where monsters are shooting lasers at the player. After the first laser is fired, try to get close to the top. There will be a saw blade, tap twice, wait a second and tap again, the coin will be acquired. Try to get down quickly as there will be another laser fired shortly after.

Trivia
*This is the third level to have a slow portal the first was Hexagon Force and the second was Theory Of Everything 2.
*This level showcased the infinite color channels, activating beneath and above the green jump rings, and whenever the player landed on a platform.
*Deadlocked is the second level to feature a triple speed portal. The first was Electrodynamix.
**It's also the first level to have several triple speed portals.
*Deadlocked has the earliest form change, changing to a mini wave within the first seconds of the level.
**It also has the shortest segment of a certain form, with the mini wave only lasting around three-fourths of a second.
*Deadlocked has the most in game text.
**The text reads I like this part :)
***This appears right before the second ship sequence.
*RobTop confirmed Deadlocked to be Demon on June 7, 2015 in a shoutbox conversation and a 30 (originally 40) coins lock on August 20, 2015 in response to a few questions in TouchArcade.
*This level is currently the only official demon that has a dual portal.
Walkthrough
Errors
* At the second Wave segment, if you hit the last green ring before the Wave portal a bit late and hold your jump key, you might be able to play the sequence at a normal speed than a triple speed and the music will be out of sync. A similar error is found in Theory of Everything 2, however, in Theory of Everything 2, the erroneous path was harder than the normal path.
* If you notice, the second orange portal has a yellow jump pad peeking on the left of it.
* At 9%, if timed correctly, after going through the teleport portal, it is possible to hit the yellow jump pad before touching the gravity portal, therefore causing a crash.
* During the second ball segment, at 37%, you are able to skip a teleport portal and a green ring if timed right.
* At the first ball segment, it is possible to slip under the ball portal and remain as a mini ship.
* At the first robot segment, you can skip a gravity portal and a teleportation portal by holding longer.
* During the first mini cube sequence, if you jump late instead of hitting the last gravity ring before the teleportation portal, you will see a jump pad in the the orange part of the portal and continue as normal
* At the first teleport portal set after the first secret coin location, it is possible to hit the first gravity ring and survive by landing on the edge of the pillar.
* Around the second secret coin area, RobTop has left an "alternative route". After falling down from the pillar into the secret area as normal, instead of making a small jump to reach the coin, make a large jump, but don't touch the green orb. If timed correctly, you will realize that you can enter a overhanging pillar (with fire on both sides), as it is hollow. You can jump off this pillar and continue normally, although this won't do anything.
**It's also possible to get the 2nd coin while tapping on the green jump ring.
It is unlocked by collecting 30 secret coins. This level is commonly recognized as one of the hardest official levels, the other one being Clubstep. Which one of the two is harder is a subject of debate, and discussions on several sources have just argued back and forth.

Description
This level introduces wave sequences at double speed as well as a mini-wave sequence at slow speed. It is the second level to introduce the wave feature and the first level to introduce the mini-wave. The level also introduces invisible sawblades and slopes. This level does not contain dual portals, mirror portals, and triple-speed portals.

Secret Coins
* The first secret coin is located at the first mini ship sequence. After you go through an inverted-gravity portal, immediately hold then let go. You will go down through a small gap to get the coin then get back to the normal route with the normal-gravity portal. If you go down too low, you will hit a spike or a block.
** Also, if you crash before the first secret coin, you can see that the diagonal block on the roof does not actually connect with the horizontal block.
* The second secret coin is located at the second wave sequence. After you maneuver through the third diagonal hallway, try to make your wave form go down through a small tunnel to get the secret coin. It is one of the hardest coins to get, as it also requires precision, timing and control to complete the Wave after collecting the coin, as the wave is at double speed and the opening is extremely tiny for the Wave to enter.
* The third secret coin is hidden above the course. After you exit the reversed gravity ship section (the one after the slowed cube sequence), jump on the two jump rings, even the one marked with a cross. If you do this, you will land on a block and go through a fake block. Then perform a late jump, collect the coin, and jump again on the edge of the platform to exit safely before you enter the last UFO sequence. This sounds easy, but it is hard without practice, since the timing is critical. If you do not jump at the edge, you will land before the platform and crash. Since this part is fast-paced, it is also quite difficult to jump off the edge of a platform. If you are too late, the cube will just fall off the platform without making the jump and you will also crash.

Trivia
* This is the only level to have all coins located in double speed sections.
* In the half-pipe at the end, a monster that resembles the monsters in the Update 2.0 preview can be seen with an eye (blue ring) and an open mouth with fake spikes to slide through.
** The icon unlocked for completing Theory of Everything 2 also resembles the Update 2.0 monsters, and it resembles the Blast Processing icon. The only difference is that the Theory of Everything 2 icon has more "teeth" and they are arranged in a different pattern.
* Completing the level takes about 1:32. However, if you use the first UFO speed glitch (refer to errors), it will take around 1:30 to complete.
* This level and Hexagon Force are the only official levels to include a slow speed portal and the normal speed portal (first seen in Update 1.8, despite the slow and normal speed portals being introduced with Electrodynamix in Update 1.7)
** This level has both the longest and shortest slow portal sections.
** This level is the only level to feature the slow portal for UFO, cube, and mini-wave as to date and is the only level to have multiple slow portals.
* This is the only level to feature two composers instead of one.
* This level, Cycles, Theory of Everything, and Electroman Adventures are the only levels that continue playing music after completion.

Errors
* At the first ship segment on the third gravity portal you can skip it by going under it.
* During the slow ship segment, at about 39%, there is a design error where one of the shaded blocks is slightly pushed to the left.
* There is an error in the first mini ship section of this level. You can skip the third gravity portal and the slow speed portal by going under them. If you skip the speed portal, however, crucial timing will be needed to pass the UFO sequence that follows. If you manage to pass it, the music will be out of sync.
** In the final mini UFO part, as well as the mini ship part mentioned above, it is also possible to skip the gravity portal (the last one in the ship) by going under it.
** In addition, the final mini UFO part may end up starting upside down, but only in practice mode.
* There is a "secret path" in the mini ship section after the second wave segment. You can skip the cube portal and remain a mini ship. At 80%, you will still be a mini ship. However, when you reach the cube, you will remain mini and crash because you cannot make the first jump of that section.
* In the first ball section at around 21%, instead of skipping the third blue jump ring and landing on the ground in antigravity, if timed right, you can still hit the third blue jump ring and continue safely.
* Right before the first wave section when you fall on to the block you have jump off to get to the portal, there is a chance you will fall and hit the side of that block instead of landing on it. This is also very unlikely to happen.
* If you do not jump on the last blue ring on the slow cube, you will fall out of the world and crash as there is no sawblade.
* At the start of the first mini ship sequence, when you are about to go through the first obstacle of two invisible spikes in an invisible block wall, you might notice the smaller one on the bottom is pushed a little to the right.
* Before the first wave section, you can see that the top of the wave section is unfilled.
* You can skip the purple jump ring in the cube section after the mini UFO if you jump the gravity jump pad late.
* At 1%, if you jump early, the gravity will change later because of a bug, and when you crash, you will see a missing part of a platform.
* In the second ball segment, you can skip the second block by just sliding on the next (you are supposed to tap and switch to normal gravity, but you can just slide, still in anti-gravity, and continue as normal).
