This article is about the level. For the player, see Andromeda (player).

Template:Infobox Level andromeda is a 2.2 Extreme Demon level created and published by ⁨Insxne97 and verified by Taiago on 19 January 2025, after 56,637 attempts.[1] It is a space-themed level looking comparably close to KOCMOC, with various space motifs being present in it, such as stars, a galaxy and a black hole.

andromeda was initially placed at #5 on the Demonlist before later being shifted to #4 on 20 April 2025. andromeda has been well-received, with players like Zoink and w3rty rating it highly for enjoyment after completing it.

Gameplay

andromeda begins with a fast-paced section overloaded with different game-modes, where the player must navigate through incredibly tight spaces, accompanied by near-frame-perfect timings. At 5%, the level picks up its pace, and with already high intensity, the first music drop is added. That section is a mostly gravity-based one, with a lot of gravity portals and orbs scattered around. In the background, a galaxy, presumably the Andromeda Galaxy, can be seen, together with the foreground drastically changing colours, ranging from purple, grey, orange, red, and pink. At 20%, to proceed further, the player, as a ship, must fly through a particularly tight cluster of Clubstep monsters. Another drop occurs, accompanied by a background change, in which a black hole now appears. This part of the level is even more challenging, with tighter spaces, reduced visibility, and less time for the player to react. At 33%, a transition occurs, and the player is swiftly transformed into a wave, forced to make very difficult timing clicks. The transition ends at 37%, and now a white hole can be seen in the background. For this section, the predominant colours are dark blue, purple and grey. At 45%, the icon passes through a wave portal, and after further game-mode changes, the player reaches 52%. In that moment, the screen goes black, and at 53% the background is changed again, now being an empty space with purple and pink pulses. Between 53% and 64%, the screen flashes frequently, with visibly more intense visuals. The platforms where the player must land and jump are shaking up and down. At 66%, after yet another transition, a black hole emerges in the background. The screen glitches, and now every single object is moving except orbs and portals. This segment of the level is by far the hardest in its entirety. The last 82-100% is characterised by steep sideways platforms that the player must conquer to move on to 89%. Between this and 90% the last transition happens, and with it, the level calms down and gets significantly less difficult due to the reduced flashiness of the screen. At the time when the player is being pushed through this last section of tight and still challenging gaps, the Andromeda Galaxy can be seen once again in the background. All the visuals stop at 96%, marking the level's end.
