'''Aperture''' is a [[Update 2.2|2.2]] Insane mega-collaboration level hosted by chunlv1, published on 19 March 2025. It is the fourth level of the [[Gauntlets|Cosmos Gauntlet]]. 

Created for the Space Gauntlet Contest, Aperture received widespread acclaim for its high-quality art, animation, and innovative use of 3D effects, and its gameplay videos garnered millions of views on YouTube.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQPMh62HogQ</ref> It went on to place fourth in the contest, ahead of [[Final Orbit]] and behind [[Spacetime Continuum]].

==Description==
Aperture tells the story of Sorami,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dA_mVxwjav4&lc=UgxiPFi4kukwd2cvtPJ4AaABAg.AG0Y5HgFQlKAG5QRzzGeBA</ref> a girl who loves astronomy and dreams of becoming an astronomer. The level is highly focused on its visuals, using an anime-esque art style with high-quality decoration.
*'''0-22%:''' Aperture begins with a spider sequence inside of some spinning circular structures inside of what appears to be a notebook. It then transitions into a cube section featuring many different scattered notes and papers, as well as a test with a red F on it. A girl can be seen floating in the background.
*'''22-31%:''' Next is a robot section that takes place inside a library, where the player must jump atop several parts of machinery. The text reads, 'For how long were you asleep?' The camera then focuses on a telescope, before zooming in on the moon.
*'''31-41%:''' Seen through the lens of a camera, the player becomes a UFO and must avoid the ground while constellations can be seen in the background. The perspective then switches, and the player becomes a ship, but the gameplay remains identical otherwise.
