Coin temple is a platformer level by Santylolcat that currently stands as the most liked platformer level on Geometry Dash. It is a clicker-style game that lets the player accumulate coins to complete the level. The level is mostly composed of one room, with four rooms gaurded by gates that can open when the player has progressed enough.

Gameplay

There is a red button in the center of the room that awards the player one coin when hit from underneath.

When the player has ten coins, a green button will appear that, when hit, "levels up" the central button. It increases the amount of coins gained from hitting the central button, in exchange for some coins. The price of hitting the green button increases with every hit. It should be noted that neither the price nor the amount it increases the coins per hit by, increases linearly.

When level 5 is reached, the bottom-right gate is opened.

When level 10 is reached, the top-right gate is opened and a blue button will appear that, when hit, lowers the height of the central button (thus allowing the player to hit it more quickly), in exchange for some coins. It should be noted that the price does not increase linearly, but the distance the central button is lowered by does.

When level 15 is reached, the bottom-left gate opens.

When level 20 is reached, the central button cannot be leveled up anymore. It also turns purple.

When 250,000 coins are accumulated, the top-left gate opens.

When one million coins are accumulated, the player may end the level, although they may keep playing if they wish.

Rooms

Bottom-right

The bottom-right room has three brown dispensers. When one of them is bought for some coins, they start producing coins automatically. All three of them can be bought individually. When all three are bought, a button appears that, when hit, triples the efficiency of the dispenser, for some coins. This upgrade can be triggered twice.

Top-right

The top-right room has three silver dispensers. They function identical to the brown dispensers, except they give more coins.

Bottom-left

The bottom-left room has three gold dispensers. They function identical to the silver dispensers, except they give more coins.

Top-left

The top-left room is a shop that stocks items including a user coin, a pet that digs up treasure named Carlos, an upgrade that adds to the amount of coins automatically generated per second every time the central button is hit, a gem that adds to amount of coins automatically generated per second every second, and new music.

User Coins

Coin temple has three user coins.

  • The first coin is in the top-left room. It can be bought for ten million coins, but only for a certain length of time before it becomes unavailable.
  • The second coin can be obtained for completing the level in under 10 minutes.
  • The third coin can be obtained for buying 40 upgrades.

Trivia

  • Coin Temple appears in rafer's FUNHOUSE animation.
  • It is very likely that the dispensers were inspired by Roblox tycoons, as they are a similar shape to the droppers in most tycoons.
