Crystal Corridor is a 2.1 Easy Demon level created by Knots and published on 7 June 2021. It is the third level of the Gem Gauntlet.

Widely considered a landmark of the modern design style, Crystal Corridor was praised for a fresh take on Knots' level design, as well as its its optimized use of the object limit to create complex background animations and a cohesive technological atmosphere.

Description
Crystal Corridor is split into three phases.
Phase 1
*0–5.5%: The level opens with a low-speed Cube sequence. The background of the section is dark and contains a monitor, which flashes five letters (R, Q, E, D, S) as the player progresses. Then, the player lands on a platform and hits a red pad that takes them to the next section. As the player approaches the first transition, the words 'Initiate vapor deposition' appear.
*5.5-17%: A Ship and UFO sequence, both involving numerous gravity changes. Several red crystals are visible in the background, along with flashing lines and pulses in sync with the music.
*17-20%: A short transition as the Cube; after the level flips, five asterisks appear between brackets at the beat of the song. The block underneath the cube then falls, taking the player to the next section.
*20–25%: A mini-Ball section with some orbs and teleport portals. The objects in this section are red and green and are technological-themed.
*25–30%: A mini-Spider section. The objects in this part pulse and move into place as the player progresses. After the Spider ends, the player must hit five orbs to enter the first drop section.
*30–49%: After the speed increases to 3x, the first segment of the drop is highly synced to the melody of the soundtrack, utilizing rapid transitions between the Wave, Ship, and Ball game-modes. The player must hit many orbs during this section. The background displays some sort of airship and some floating crystals. After the fast form transitions, an animation occurs with a screen displaying a play button, signaling the end of Phase 1.
Phase 2-3
*50–90%: The gameplay stabilizes into a rhythmic Ship and UFO section. The player must navigate around large, pulsing crystal structures that serve as both hazards and visual focal points.
*90–95%: A final Cube sequence leads to a high-detail end screen featuring the character Lyssyx and the creator's credits.
*95–100%: The first endscreen displays a pulsing crystal and lists two people that Knots wanted to give special thanks to: Arb and Xyle. The background then becomes digital-style green and displays the level name, as well as Lyssyx holding a pink crystal with several crystals flying around her.
**Lyssyx is a custom character originally designed by Rixbunny and simplified by Knots. Both of their names appear on the final endscreen.

User coins
Crystal Corridor features three user coins, which require a combination of path-finding and memorization.
*The first coin requires the player to collect a custom key as the spider at 27.5%. Once collected, a custom portal will appear at 35%, teleporting the player to a mini-Cube gameplay section in the background, which contains the coin. The player returns to the normal route using a second custom portal at 39.5%.
*The second coin is located within the mini-Ship sequence beginning at 57%. To unlock it, the player must click four jump orbs - two yellow followed by two green. The orbs are located at 57.5%, 59%, 59.75%, and 60.75%. Once all four orbs are clicked, flying through the center of the structure at 62% will unlock a hidden ending for the sequence, inside which is the coin.
*The third and final coin is located at 94%, but requires a passcode to collect it.
**At the 65% transition, three digits will appear in the background. The set of three numbers is randomized, although there are only three sets that can be displayed: 1-6-9, 2-4-9, and 4-5-7. Once memorized, the player must skip the first dash orb at 87% and hit a blue orb barely visible at the bottom of the screen. This will allow access to a higher path, eventually leading to a terminal with 10 buttons at 90%.
**The buttons are used to enter the three memorized digits; they remain unlabelled until hit. The first nine buttons represent a digit from one to nine in ascending order; the tenth button represents zero. To unlock access to the coin, the player must hit all of (and only) the three buttons corresponding to their memorized digits. Successful entry opens a door to the coin; failure will cause the player to crash.

Trivia
*Crystal Corridor contains every combination of game-mode and size present in 2.1, with the exception of a normal-sized Spider.
*The five letters in the background of the first section stand for different gemstones. In order, they are: ruby, quartz, emerald, diamond, sapphire.
*A developer easter egg can be found if the player inputs 1479 into the third coin's button series: the door will open, but the player will be crushed by a large cube (resembling Flareonnn's icon) just before reaching it.
*Two days after its release, Crystal Corridor received an Epic rating, granting Knots his 100th Creator Point and pushing his streak of Epic-rated levels to 25.
*According to a comment on Viprin's showcase of the level, Knots lost two months of work on Crystal Corridor due to a data loss.
