dark drop is a 2.0 Harder 7* level collaboration created by NatDak and Alkali and published by the latter. It is the fifth and final level in the Chaos Gauntlet, after Kappaclysm. The level is the first of Alkali's Drop trilogy, followed by Darker Drop and Darkest Drop, two Easy Demons.
Gameplay
- 0-43% (NatDak): The level starts with a really basic cube part. This part is very easy, even when the player goes into the 2x speed portal at 10%. At 17% the drop starts. A 3x wave section appears. This part can be a little hard for beginners but a pushover for decent players. Then the player switches continuously. The player becomes a cube, then a UFO, and back to the cube. Though this section cannot be sight-read, it is very easy to do once you know the obstacles ahead of you. At 22%, there is another wave part that contains 22.5-degree slopes. It may be very confusing for beginners, but can be mastered quite easily. After that, just like the last part, the player switches gamemodes continuously: a cube, then a robot, and another cube part. Just like the last part, it is very easy to do once you know what obstacles are ahead of you. After the auto part, a short ship section appears with text that says: "Natdak is here!". Since this part has almost zero obstacles, the player only needs to fly through the portals. Then there is a cube passage which is actually easier than it looks. Next is another very basic ball part. There are invisible objects at the end of the ball that makes it auto along with a text that says: "LOL !".
- 44-100% (Alkali): Alkali's part starts with a cube part, then a robot part, and back to the cube. There are no trolls or hard timings here, the only obstacle here is the fast speed. At 51% there is a curve-flying section. This may seem hard but it will be easier if you follow the pulsing circles. Then there is a semi-auto mini-ship part which you have to fly into the hole and then fly straight at the end. You also have to fly straight with the normal ship after that. Next is a slow cube part that acts as a break and shortly after that is a 2x speed cube with simple platforming which is slightly easier than all previous 3x cube parts. At 71%, there is a dual mini ship section. This time, the player has to dodge all spike walls and it is better to stay low while doing so. Next is a slow wave part that requires somewhat precise movements. Then there is a short normal speed cube part. After that, there is a 2x speed ship part with tight spaces. This part requires practice. Same with the next UFO part but it is easier since there are indicators, the only hard part here is hitting the green orb and then spam. The next part is a 3x dual cube which is hard to read but it is really easy once you know what to do. The level ends with an easy robot- and cube section.
User coins
- The first coin is located at 4% in the cube section. To collect it, the player must jump from the block and click on the invisible jump orb.
- The second coin is located at 61% in the cube section. The player just needs to make an extra jump right after entering the cube portal.
- The third coin is located at 77% in the wave segment. To collect it, the player is required to do the wave movements precisely above the normal way and through the small space.
Trivia
