delightful climb is a 2.2 Extreme Demon platformer level by JuNiOr202, verified by GToast on 16 February 2025.[1] The level is inspired by the videos from the YouTube channel under the handle @Lw8B00FF.[2] It is the current Top 1 rated and unrated platformer level.
History
It is unknown when delightful climb was created, because, at first, GToast kept this verification as secret. The earliest video mentioning it was GToast's 93% progress, published on 21 January 2025.[3]
After that, on 16 February 2025, GToast verified delightful climb.
delightful climb was placed at the #1 spot on The Platformer List (TPL),[4] which includes both rated and unrated levels, on 1 March 2025, dethroning CONVOLUTION as the hardest unrated platformer level.
delightful climb was rated on 1 April 2026, 409 days after its verification, dethroning Diamonds For Dashers from being Top 1 rated level.
Description
delightful climb consists of five layers, going from 'Layer V' to 'Layer I', with no checkpoints. Each layer has a different background, colour, and music. The black block structures begin disappearing when touching them, preventing the ability to stop, and there are flashy rainbow spikes that can be removed with Low Detail Mode. The level contains several tight turnarounds and spike gaps, with many 'chokepoints'.
