Extreme Park is a 1.2 solo Hard Demon created, verified, and published by Rabbitical (formerly Ripplez) sometime between November 19-22, 2013. It is the first Demon level to mainly focus on memory, making it the hardest level ever published at the time.[1]
Gameplay
- 0-12%: The level starts with a tricky normal-speed cube section that contains many fakes, especially orb-fakes. Additionally, arrows are added to help the player know the correct path. This part is mainly memory-based, with no difficult timings.
- 13-43%: After an upside-down section with less memory and timing, the player enters a more specific timing part used as a bridge for the second main memory part full of multiple fake paths.
- 44-61%: Then, the level becomes very easy to sight-read. After a climb and then a fall, the player enters a tight section containing three orbs, at which the player has to only hit the first two. After two other orbs, the first and only ship section follows.
- 61-73%: Following this is a simple ship sequence, where the player needs to avoid "spike-balls" - which are essentially groups of four blocks and eight spikes around them to resemble saw-blades and a spike right in a block.
- 73-100%: Afterward, the level returns to mainly focusing on more memory. Here, the player enters a large structure full of fake walls and fake paths. Finally, after a short "descending climb," the level ends.
Trivia
- The password for the level is 003372.
- It probably refers to the number of objects the level has, 3,372.
- The level is 1m 27s in length.
- The level was rated on November 22, 2013.
- It is one of the first five Demons rated simultaneously.
- It is the oldest rated Hard Demon in the game.
- Despite its rating in-game, many players consider it an Easy Demon.
- It remained as the final legitimately verified-former hardest Demon in the game until Bloodbath.
- It is considered one of the best-looking hardest Demons in the early era.[2]
- Ironically, it was for more than eight years in dislike ratio.
- It is the third former Top 1 Demon in the game's history.
- However, worth mentioning is that the origin of the Demon List started in 2014 by the player Loogiah,[3] meaning all levels created in 2013 were not Top 1 for the simple reason of the list determining the hardest levels in the game not existing at the time.
