Template:Infobox LevelFirework is an unverified 2.1 Extreme Demon mega-collaboration created by the members of Cherry Team, and is currently set to be verified by Kurumi. The color scheme of the level is mostly a dark color scheme, which many find ironic as fireworks are bright and colorful. The difficulty is considered near-impossible, some saying it is harder than Sonic Wave Infinity and even Silent Clubstep. It is set to be the hardest level in the game, although it has competition against Misanthrope, Galaxy Collapse, Orochi, The Eternal Night, Silent Circles, Woodkid, and Sonic Wave Infinity.
History
The verifier used to be Dolphy but then passed onto Crazen, and back to Dolphy. Eventually, Cherry Team stated they did not want the level to be nerfed, so they hack-verified it and uploaded it to the servers as an open verification. During this time, GMDomy achieved the world record of 18% on the unnerfed level, and had been given permission to verify a balanced version, as long as it stayed top 1.[1] However, this idea was later scrapped on November 8, 2020, when Dolphy was once again granted the role as the verifier. Dolphy had achieved 15% on the level. But again, Dolphy decided to drop the level and then passed to Kurumi who currently has a record of 68%, although afterwards, he has buffed it to be almost as hard as the original, unnerfed version. On January 3rd, 2021, Kurumi buffed Firework again, this time the first 13%, on top of the buffs he made to the first 3% the week before.
Gameplay
- 0-3% (Lilium) - Firework starts off with the shortest and easiest part of the level, Lilium's part. The first timing in the level is a black orb timing leading into a blue pad. This blue pad forces the player into a blue portal with a blue orb inside of it, which leads the player into a green orb timing. Right after the green orb timing, the player must do two ridiculous pink dash orb timings. Following this, the word "Lilium" pops up, indicating the creator of the part. Then, the player falls down into a very difficult jump which forces the player into a blue orb timing and a black orb timing. This black orb timing drives the player into a blue orb which then drives the player into a green orb. After the green orb, the speed changes to triple speed and the player must spam synced orbs while still timing all of them. Right after that, the drop starts.
- 3-14% (ORte) - The drop begins all of a sudden as the player goes through a quadruple speed ship in a short moment, then, he/she becomes a cube in triple speed via a pink orb. This orb must be hit late but not too late in order to properly reach the upcoming dash orb. The dash orb must be timed accurately in order to bring the player up to the ceiling without hitting the surrounding spikes. The ceiling, which has a gravity pad and a gravity portal, will eventually send the player back to the platform. Not long after, a brief dual section encounters with flashy images and texts say "DIE". Right after being split up into two balls, he/she must immediately tap so as to let the lower ball go up with the upper one to the above platform and then send the ball back to double speed ship (with non-dual). The ship is rather short, having switched into anti-gravity again and later become a mini cube in quadruple speed upon activating a yellow orb. This shortly changes into the mini wave which has extremely tight timings and rapid dash orbs activation (this wave is still in anti-gravity). The wave later gets slower (triple speed) and turns into normal size. There will be a blue gravity portal in the middle of the wave. The timing is still vey precise. The player turns into a ship after very tiny cube transition via dash orb. This ship is quadruple speed and starts with a green orb, then a blue gravity portal and a fast and diagonal path. It laters changes into assymetric dual spider (with flashy images like the part before with the similar melody of the song), after another ridiculous cube transition. The synced dual spiders then slows down into a cube. The rest of this part are synced orbs with double speed and triple speed changing rapidly. Finally, it ends as an orange orb in 1x speed to get to Buragoz's part.
- 14-24% (Buragoz) -
- 25-36% (Lekvid) -
- 36-45% (Crouley) - The second buildup of the song starts as the level fades in. This part requires fast pacing with synchronization but also perfect timing as well. The cube (the only gamemode in this part) has to firstly jump to a pink orb in order to hit it to the anti-gravity portal beneath it, leading the player to an upside-down platform. Then, it is compulsory to time properly to hit the green orb at the end of the platform which drives to another difficult black orb timing, then another anti-gravity portal and a late pink orb timing (hitting it too early will thrust the cube into the ground while upside-down). After landing on another upside-down platform, there is an orange orb timing which must neither be early nor late so as to drive the cube correctly to the blue orb. This blue orb must NOT be hit while mid-air, but after landing into the ground, immediately. Doing this will fling the player safely into two orb-gravity portal timings (the orb in the second portal is fake). Following up is a pink orb and skipping the next fake blue orb will bring to a black orb/ gravity portal timing which force the cube down into a platform. There is another fake blue orb above this platform. The said black orb must be hit and hold in order to jump over and reach two green orbs surrounded by several fake orbs. Next is a ridiculous section in which the player has to hit the second blue orb and following the pink orb, all with timing. Shortly after, the level gets brighter. The song starts getting faster and more intimidating, while the player has to hit every approaching orbs, platforms and other obstacles in a fast but extremely accurate spam. This part ends at the end of the buildup, transitioning into the second drop.
- 55-64% (Buragoz) - The second part of Buragoz
- 64-71% (Desumari) -
- 71-79% (RealVet) -
- 79-84% (Konsi) - This part is only in half speed and is entirely a ship. However, it is believed to be the most infamous part of the level. The player has to carefully fly through a rather tight gap with constantly changing gravity portals, while the structures are pulsing calmly to the song. The only thing, which makes up for the difficulty, is that not just the gap being ridiculously tight, but also along the section scattered are plenty of black and red orbs which MUST NOT BE hit (otherwise, they will be instantly launched up or down into the hazards and dies). Every space between two orbs is so short that many people think this part is borderline impossible. However, since it is entirely at the half speed, many consider this part to be calmer than most parts in the level.
- 84-93% (00Zero) -
- 93-98% (Lilium) -
- 99-100% (Hantein) (End screen) - The end screen of Firework features a giant detailed skull with spikes protruding from it on both sides. This is said to be one of the most recognizable parts of the level, and some believe that this is the only good part.
Trivia
- The password for this level is 1441.
- This level contains 160,784 objects.
- This level is 2m 7s in length.
- OfficialFreck and Deron used to have parts in the collaboration, with OfficialFreck's part being at 36-45%,[2] and Deron's part being at 84-93%.[3] However, they were replaced by Crouley and 00Zero, respectively.
- Firework once fell into the hands of Breeze (now known as Keshi) who hack verified it using the xBot tool. However, he stated that the video was also a joke and in the description it said that Dolphy was the official verifier at that time.[4]
