Template:Infobox Level Flamewall is an upcoming Extreme Demon mega-collaboration level hosted by Narwall, Valentine, Skub, Surjaco, and RicoLP before he left the project. The project has set the record for the longest finished Top 1 level, 6 minutes and 46 seconds long, with 54 parts consisting of 407,143 objects and over 100 playtesters and decorators participating. The level was previously set to be verified by OneAlphaHelix, who dropped the level citing difficulties posed by physics changes in Update 2.2;[1] the verification was passed on to the player Cuatrocientos. Flamewall is intended to be the hardest level in the game,[2] competing against numerous other upcoming levels.

Flamewall has been highly praised for its consistent design and considered fun gameplay compared to most top levels. It is considered a 'flow' level as it switches between game-modes very rapidly throughout. The base gameplay is not very difficult, which is unique for a Top 1 - the main difficulty is in the level's length and requirement of nerve control. OneAlphaHelix has stated that most of the gameplay is roughly Main List difficulty, although certainly easier than any Top 10 except Codependence (which has since dropped out of the Top 10).

The colour scheme of Flamewall is generally orange (following the fire theme), with a few sections changing to primarily white and grey to match the song's intensity. The decoration is notable for maintaining a 1.9 style but has been criticised for having little depth in certain sections. It is likely a result of object limitations (as it was completed in 2.1), but numerous people have asked questions about a potential 2.2 redecoration. Currently, there is no mention of this taking place, especially as the level gets closer to being verified.

Flamewall is also known for having a ridiculous amount of clicks for one level; OneAlphaHelix has stated that the level requires over 1,250 clicks in one run. It is more click-intensive in certain parts, but the overall number remains roughly balanced over its duration.

When Tidal Wave was rated, many believed this level to no longer be in contention for Top 1. The level has since been buffed to be much harder than Tidal Wave, and is now comparable in difficulty to the upcoming Top 1 GRIEF.

Verification

Flamewall is currently being verified by Cuatrocientos, a skilled Spanish player whose hardest level previous to the verification was Solar Flare. (LIMBO was previously his hardest before it got moved below Solar Flare) Cuatrocientos took over the verification after OneAlphaHelix, the original verifier (who also uploaded the level's showcase) lost motivation after the 2.2 physics change and dropped the level on 19 January 2024. OneAlphaHelix's record before he quit was 62% (by using 2.2 percentages; this was equivalent to 60% in 2.1). Cuatrocientos has made rapid progress on the level after picking it up, achieving a run of 24-80% on 2 February 2024 in his 12th stream. He unexpectedly had one of the biggest flukes ever by getting 3-86% on 10 September 2024.
