===Ending===
After the player collects the butter, the ending cutscene begins.

The other cube, who was roasting marshmallows with the player at the beginning of the level, arrives at the summit in an elevator with an angry expression. The following conversation takes place:

*Other cube: 'Dude.'
*Other cube: 'It's almost nighttime! What on Earth have you been doing!?'
*Player: 'I have the butter.'
*Other cube: 'The elevator takes no more than 10 minutes!'
*Player: 'There's an elevator?'
*Other cube: 'Yeah? How else did you get up here?'
*The other cube calms down before saying, 'We used this same elevator earlier today. Remember?'
*Other cube: 'Next thing I know-'
*The other cube changes to a joking expression and says, 'you're gonna tell me you climbed the mountain or something!'
*Player: 'W-well. I-'
*Other cube: 'Let's just get down before it's too dark to see anything.'
*Player: 'I'll join you in a minute.'
*Other cube: 'Suit yourself. Just... Don't take long...'

After the conversation, the other cube re-enters the elevator and descends the mountain. The player then walks to a telescope on the right side of the summit and looks through it. The stars visible through the telescope spell out 'Free Solo', after which the level concludes.
