GLUNGUS ADVENTURES is a 2.2 unrated Extreme Demon level created and published by Bimms and verified by Conix on 19 April 2026.[1] It is a rather goofy level that involves many tight timings and has quite unbalanced gameplay, and is most well known for its boss-fight against a cat named "Glungus."
The level has been estimated by the verifier Conix and top player Zoink to possibly be Top 150 difficulty, around the bottom 15 of the Extended List.
History
The level was first showcased by Conix on 22 March 2026.[2] It was quite notable for this verification of a rather difficult Extreme Demon to be passed on to Conix, as he had never verified an Extreme Demon before. Furthermore, Conix's hardest level at the was Bloodlust, meaning that verifying Glungus Adventures would be a step up in difficulty for him if the level was truly Top 150. The creator of the level, Bimms, also offered an $100 bounty to the first victor of the level, not including Zoink.
Conix started streaming his verification of Glungus Adventures on 23 March 2026, a day after he showcased it. He would achieve good progress on the level, achieving 41% only 3 streams into the level. He also collaborated with top players such as Zoink, giving them the level to try.
However, on stream 9 on 4 April 2026, Conix died at 95%, at one of the last few clicks before the end cutscene.[3] He proceeded to achieve good runs such as 13%-100% within the following days. Eventually, he verified Glungus Adventures on 19 April 2026, and made an easier version of the level posted to his account.
Zoink became the first victor of the level on 20 April 2026 after beating it in under 3 hours. However, since he was excluded from the bounty, he did not receive the $100.[4] Pro player zLevii, most notable for his completion of Flamewall, currently the Top 2 Demon, beat the level on 21 April 2026 and received the $100 bounty.
Trivia
- 84-100% has a wave part based on Acropolis, a level that uses the same song (-Final Battle- - Waterflame).
- The original video by Conix showcasing Glungus Adventures was originally titled "MY NEXT VERIFICATION? - GLUNGUS ADVENTURES".[2] However, after Vinkulimies pointed out and commented "'my next verification' dear chudnix you have ZERO verifications 💔💔💔". Conix replied "good point" to the comment and changed the title to "MY FIRST VERIFICATION? - GLUNGUS ADVENTURES".
