Infernal Arena is a 2.0 Normal level by SUOMI, published on 2 April 2016. It is the first level of the Lava Gauntlet.

Description

The level is a more hellish and slower-paced remake of Viking Arena.

  • 0-31%: The level starts with the player passing a face of a demon and a circular symbol with the words "RUBRUB IS ILLUMINATI". This part has simple cube gameplay at half-speed with pads and gears. The fire here is noticeably more red than in Viking Arena.
  • 31-65%: The player then becomes a normal-speed ship, flying through a fiery, thorn-filled corridor with rising "water". The cube section afterwards is half-speed and periodically flashes black. There is a short auto section near the end.
  • 65-100%: A ship section follows once again, involving moving pillars and slopes. The final cube section features a wall of black thorns as a reference to the orange wall of monsters in Viking Arena. The player passes by text reading: "Airborne Robots Remake is next :)" before the level ends.

User coins

Infernal Arena contains three user coins.

  • The first coin is located at 45%, indicated by a enormous lock with a keyhole. The player needs to jump at 17% to get a key, identifiable by a brief glow. This unlocks the lock and the player can collect the coin.
  • The second coin is located at 55%. The player must drop down to a hidden tunnel to collect the coin, before being teleported back to the main path. This path is indicated by a translucent platform.
  • The third coin is located at 71%. The player must go through an "obstacle" covered in red lines to collect it.

Gameplay

Trivia

  • Infernal Arena uses the same song as ichor, its successor in the Lava Gauntlet.
