Editing Leaderboards (section)

Scores leaderboards
Tabs at the top of the screen display four leaderboard categories, each ordering players in a ranked list relative to others based on their tally of specific collectibles.
*Top 100: Ranks the Top 100 players sorted by their total Stars, Moons, User Coins, or Demon Count. Leaderboard moderators must manually whitelist players before they can appear on this leaderboard (to prevent cheaters). A player can also be banned from this leaderboard by leaderboard moderators, removing them and disabling their rank. It can be viewed here.
*Friends: Displays the player alongside others on their Friends List, with the option to order the list by Stars, Moons, User Coins, or Demons.
*Global: Displays the player alongside other players based on their overall ranking, which can be ordered by Stars, Moons, User Coins, or Demons. A minimum of 100 stars is required to receive an initial rank. A player can also be banned from this leaderboard by leaderboard moderators, removing them and disabling their rank.
*Creators: Displays the Top 100 creators, ordered by number of creator points. 1 creator point is awarded for each created level that receives a star rating, with an additional point being granted for each created level that is featured, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic (higher ratings also give the creator point bonuses of all lower ratings, meaning a single Mythic level grants five creator points).
A player's rank in the Global category results in a specific coloured trophy being displayed alongside their rank in the upper left corner of their profile page. In the case of a player being banned from the Top 100 and Global categories, they may be unbanned upon further evaluation, restoring their rank with account of any stars obtained during the period they were banned.

On 3 April 2026, in tandem with the release of the official Geometry Dash website, the leaderboards' backend was updated to refresh live. Previously, RobTop needed to refresh the leaderboards manually.
