==History==
MindCap created his YouTube channel on 27 February 2013, but he did not upload any videos until four years later. His first upload was on 4 February 2017, a relatively tight four-second-long wave challenge level.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWM8ksRImUQ</ref> His next video was uploaded on 2 May 2017, in which he showcased his part in a collaboration level.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1_fEoTnmio</ref> On 21 June 2017, MindCap uploaded a video of his part in an Extreme Demon collaboration called Gamma.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2t_Fy1UtQ8</ref> After this, MindCap stopped posting frequently. After Celestial Force, MindCap posted several previews of the layout and decoration of Sigma, the planned sequel of Gamma. In March 2021, MindCap was wrapped in controversy after mistakenly leaking that [[Michigun]] had passed away to a few other players ahead of the official announcement. He quit playing and deleted his Twitter account, but returned and made a new account three months later.

Several years after his initial debut in his Extreme Demon collaborations, MindCap posted the first-ever preview of the infamous key part in LIMBO.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vc2YoLWM0c</ref> A full level showcase was posted shortly after<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryBbuH_SPbs</ref> (which would go on to be his most viewed video), and, afterwards, progress reports from BGram. During the verification of LIMBO, MindCap posted the first full showcase of his bait-and-switch horror level, Collab Level, on April Fools' Day 2022. The level received mixed reactions from the community, with some calling it one of the scariest things they had seen in [[Geometry Dash]]. [[TrusTa]] notably reacted to the level in an outrage, stating on Twitter to 'not make surprise horror in gd. Label it as horror, fine, so I don't have to watch it.' He has since deleted this tweet after receiving backlash. MindCap stated that the purpose of Collab Level was to 'scare as many people as possible' and to make fun of the horror trends in the community at the time.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeZEP3PPtSo&t=697s</ref>

After MindCap posted the Halloween update of Collab Level, BGram finished verifying LIMBO. After release, the level received immense praise from the community. Even long after its release, it is widely regarded as one of the greatest mega-collaborations of all time. MindCap took advantage of this newfound popularity and released the full showcase of [[Heliopolis]], his upcoming Top 1 timing Demon. However, this project would take a backseat to another of his upcoming levels, [[Every End]], a potential Top 5 Demon level consisting solely of normal-speed cube jumps, initially being verified by ViperVenom95. The verification would soon be passed on to BGram, who later dropped the level due to stress and a lack of interest in Geometry Dash.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnQbTZ0ywB0</ref> The verification was then passed on to Hqmy, who would quickly make progress on the level, reaching 61% on 29 November 2024, and 79% just a few months later on 17 January 2025. On 16 March 2025, Hamilton verified Every End, where it would be placed at #4 on the [[Demonlist (Pointercrate)|Demonlist]].

Before the Heliopolis and Every End showcases, MindCap released the full layout of ORBIT, an Extreme Demon consisting only of orb clicks. In November 2025, the teaser for the fully decorated version of ORBIT was released, and on 1 December 2025, the full level was showcased to the public. [[Zoink]] would be the set verifier of the level, and he would do so on 10 February 2026,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKcv8DkNPd0</ref> where it would be rated Mythic and placed at #5 on the Demonlist.

With nothing else left, MindCap pursued Heliopolis, making it an open verification and ensuring its placement at the #1 spot by essentially super-buffing it into its current form. Because nobody but the set verifiers wanted to play the level, MindCap set up a fundraiser for a bounty on it, which eventually raised $10,700. Furthermore, [[npesta]] organised an event in which at least 100 top players would race to gain progress on Heliopolis, with a 1% increment required each day. These two factors pushed Heliopolis into Geometry Dash's mainstream. During this time, Zoink picked up the level and made progress, sparking mixed reactions from the community. *Cake Level (unlisted) - A cake-themed level created as a joke level for April Fools' Day on 1 April 2023. It features cake and various sweets decorations but quickly morphs into modern pop culture art, including Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, weed shots, SpongeBob, etc. Jif verified it.
*orbit copy - A joke level regarding the Extreme Demon ORBIT. It consists of a large row of yellow orbs spanning the entire song of the level.
*Heliopolis - An mega-collaboration level inspired by [[Acropolis]], projected to be Top 1-difficulty. MindCap initially gave the level to ItsHybrid. However, ItsHybrid was unable to finish it, so he returned it to MindCap. *Collab Level (Featured) - A horror-themed level that was verified by [[Cursed]]. Previously, MindCap stated that he would not upload it to the servers due to its inappropriate art and horror nature. However, he later posted a Twitter message about downloading the level that requires GDShare to play. As of now, the level has been uploaded to his account, with a warning at the start. The current version of the level (dubbed the 'Halloween Update') features all scares after the level has concluded, focusing less on jump scares and more on tension and terror. The old version is archived on the servers by a separate individual.

*bb circles (Featured) - A joke [[Nine Circles]]-styled mega-collaboration level using the usual style of Nine Circles gameplay but without any wave sections. It stands for 'blue balled circles'.

***MindCap also mentioned that the recent hate spilling on Zoink because of him starting to play Heliopolis is pointless, and people saying he is 'stealing' the verification are not in the right, as no one besides the two earlier-mentioned players has really tried playing the level after MindCap announced the $10,000 bounty.
**In MindCap's opinion, Zoink did not start playing Heliopolis for money at all.
**Despite being happy about Zoink verifying the level, MindCap's dream verifier has been garbag, who beat [[RUST]], then jumped to Every End, and then jumping to Heliopolis would—in MindCap's opinion—be a perfect underdog story, making the Heliopolis verification very unique and 'magical' in a way.
**MindCap is certain that npesta's 100 Pros vs Heliopolis challenge brought more people into the Heliopolis playing scene than the bounty itself did, thanks to its approachability (since contestants only needed to improve their previous record by 1% every day, not beat the entire level).
**MindCap said that the $10,000 bounty he will give to the first victor of Heliopolis is located in Djoxy's (his friend's) bank account due to him living in Egypt, because, as he said, withdrawing a large amount of money and keeping it digitally might cause the Egyptian government to steal it potentially.
**MindCap initially made the first half of Heliopolis harder and the second half easier because the nerves a player would have while getting past 49% would be enough to balance the level's difficulty.
**MindCap begged many top players to verify Heliopolis, and Zoink jumping into the level might have been the only lifeline that could let the level get verified in a plausible time.
**MindCap supposes that the only plausible condition for him to build a fully solo level would be in a situation where he would create an alternate Geometry Dash account and upload it there.
