Moderators are Geometry Dash players whose accounts have been granted special tools for monitoring and moderating elements relating to player activity, being introduced in Update 2.0.

Description

The full list of current moderators can be viewed here.

  • Moderator: Can submit unrated levels and suggest difficulties (including having a higher priority in suggesting Demon difficulty ratings) to the developer for review, as well as add levels to the Sent tab. Comments made by moderators are highlighted light green (#C8FFC8).
  • Elder Moderator: Possesses the same abilities as a regular moderator (superseding the rank), and additionally can delete comments on levels, can give players temporary bans from commenting, can remove non-featured user levels with under 1,000 downloads from the server, as well as whitelist featured Newgrounds artists. Comments made by elder moderators are highlighted dark green (#4BFF4B).
  • Developer: Possesses all abilities.[verification needed] Comments made by developers are highlighted cyan, although they retain the elder moderator badge.

Trivia

  • Moderators did not have highlighted comments until a server-side update enabled this on 17 September 2020.
  • Prior to Update 2.1, the Mod Suggestion button was located beneath the Rate button, also having an identical appearance.
