*TamaN named the level Motion due to the high amounts of moving objects, although some people believe it was because the level is fast-paced.
*On 20 September 2023, TamaN updated Motion, nerfing a few parts and adding non-auto gameplay into auto parts.
**The original version from 2016 can be accessed by enabling the level's Low Detail Mode.
*Motion was ranked #28 in Geometry Dash Today's list of 'The Top 100 Greatest Geometry Dash Levels Of All Time'.
*Motion is TamaN's second most popular level by both downloads and likes, behind his Normal level [[Adrift]].
**By extension, Motion is TamaN's most popular Demon level.
*Motion was [[Weekly Demon]] #10 on 24 December 2017.
**[[Robert Topala|RobTop]] also accidentally made it Weekly Demon #23 on 25 March 2018, but it was quickly fixed and replaced with Lanthanium.
***It makes Motion the only level from which it is possible to get 40 stars in total, as it was the Weekly Demon at two different points in time, and it was recently added to the Force Gauntlet.
*Motion and [[Mission 01]] are the only 2.0 levels that appear in [[gauntlets]] in [[Update 2.2]].
*Motion in particular seems to be the main theme of the Force Gauntlet, as every level in that gauntlet takes inspiration from Motion.
