Neptune (IIINePtunEIII in-game) is a former South Korean player and level creator. He was famous for his v2 levels and for making two famous difficult Demons, Necropolis and Deadly ClubStep. Ever since Neptune's v2 levels were first created, RobTop level remixes have been everywhere, from easy remakes to Extreme Demon remakes. During Update 1.9, suspicion grew that Neptune was a hacker, and he soon quit in the middle of Update 1.9 for no apparent reason.

History
Neptune has created a series called 'v2'. These levels recreate the levels the titles represent (for example, if it is called Stereo Madness v2, the level will be a slightly more difficult version of Stereo Madness).

Even though Neptune made the series of 'v2 levels' famous (which even today is applied to remakes of levels), he was not the first to have the idea. In Update 1.1, stars were given to the first level v2, called Sterio Madness v2 [sic], by an unregistered user named ferflappenDER (level ID 5639).

After that, popular Korean creator Rabb2t followed the trend, creating Dry Out v2, Can't Let Go v2, and Cycles v2; then, in Update 1.3, Neptune finally created Stereo Madness v2 and continued with the next levels, popularizing the series. He also created Deadly ClubStep and Necropolis. Deadly ClubStep was considered impossible until LunarSimg beat it on mobile in Update 1.8.

Controversy
*In Update 2.0, KaptainCPU made a fake account called JupiterGD. On that account, he said, 'Sorry for hack', and that Doomsday III, Deadlocked v2, and Geometrical Dominator v2 would come soon. However, Neptune (or possibly a hacker) posted on Neptune's account saying that JupiterGD is fake. JupiterGD then confessed and said the whole issue was a joke. It was an experiment to see how many likes a famous person would get compared to a non-famous person.

Trivia
*Most of Neptune's levels are in Map Packs, notably his v2 levels.
**The Map Packs Remix Pack 1, Remix Pack 2, Remix Pack 3, and Remix Pack 4 exclusively contain some of Neptune's v2 versions of the official levels.
*All of Neptune's levels are featured.
*All of Neptune's levels' descriptions are mostly the same as their names, except for Neo Dry Out, which does not have a description.
*Neptune has made the first 'Spike jump' in-game. It is usually a 1.7-coloured block with blending and black, making it a truly invisible ramp/block. It was later used in several hard levels. (This was mostly using invisible blocks before Alpha Trigger was implemented.)
*Neptune's levels never use custom songs, not even in his 1.9 levels.
*Neptune decorated Red World, a collaboration with saRy.
*A hacker got into Neptune's account, claiming that Neptune had returned, although this is not true.
*Neptune's v2 remake of Cycles is labelled 'Cycles v2 R,' while the rest of his v2 remakes end with just 'v2'. He replied to a question about the purpose of the R in his YouTube video and the level description in Geometry Dash. The 'R' at the end stands for 'Remake', most likely because it is the second version of the original deleted Cycles v2.
*Death Step, StarQuake, and Ice Realm (unrated) are the only levels uploaded on Neptune's YouTube channel not created by Neptune.
*The levels zStep and Way of the Darkness are the only two levels by Neptune that have never received any updates.
*The level Dry out v2 is the most updated level by Neptune with 41 updates, thus currently sitting at version 42.
**This is the sixth-most updated rated level in the game, surpassed only by Windings by Rabb2t (version 43), Euphoria by DimaDank (version 49), 66669420 by catgirlBlitz (version 51), Area E1 by Tygrysek (version 127), and w316d 14nd5c493 by NixinityFurry (version 127).
*Neptune's last appearance online was when he said 'JupiterGD is not me :) JupiterGD is fake'.
**Although someone may have hacked into Neptune's account and said that, it would mean his actual last message was 'I'm not used hack :('.
