OuterSpace

Template:Infobox Level OuterSpace is a Hard 5* level created by Nicki1202. It is the first level in the Fire Gauntlet and also the first level with a Hard difficulty in all of the Gauntlets.

Gameplay

• 0-9%: You start with a normal-speed cube section. The words “Fire Gauntlet” and a picture of the gauntlet symbol red can be seen at the beginning. At 2% you pass a face resembling an Icon in-game.
• 10-20%: Next, you transition into an easy double-speed ship sequence that contains frequent speed changes and several easy-to-avoid obstacles. At ~14%, the text saying, "VIPRIN IS TRIGGERED", can be seen near the top of the level, as well as the first user coin directly above it.
• 21-33%: Afterward, you transition to a double-speed ball segment that features simple timings and a bunch of seemingly random auto sections, and you pass a smiley face at 24% similar to the one at 2%. Then at 29%, you pass the same face, but sad.
• 34-44%: You then enter a normal-speed UFO segment, then at 36%, you are flipped upside down and sent to double-speed, then a blue gravity and normal speed at 39%, then a mini-portal at 43%, and soon reach a cube portal. The same face as the one at the beginning is located at 38%, along with a cat-like face at 43%. This entire section features wide-open spaces and harmless slopes that the player can slide on.
• 45-67%: You are enlarged upon entering the second cube section, finding another smiley face like the one at 24%. This section contains simple jump orb timings and the second user coins. You soon enter a double-speed portal with a sad face above it, the same as the one at 29%. Soon you go into a series of consecutive gravity pads, for the build-up. You then fly into the air, seeing the words “OUTER SPACE” as you fall into a ship portal at triple-speed.
• 68-100%: Afterward, you transition into a triple-speed ship sequence boss fight, with the boss as a giant laser-shooting gun on the right of the screen. An exclamation mark (!) appears right before it attacks, either by shooting its massive laser or by thrusting its spiky arms at the player. Additionally, the top and bottom of the screen are covered with spikes, with the sole exception of the location of the third user coin. At ~80%, it retreats and you have to avoid large saw blades and obstacles to continue. Finally, you reach a normal speed portal at the end, and upon completing the level, the big laser comes out of the wall.

User Coins

• The first user coin is located at 14%, in the first ship sequence. To collect it, you need to fly up, but just high enough so that you do not crash into the spikes on the ceiling.
• The second user coin is located at 57%, in the cube section. To collect it, you must jump and not hit the green jump orb, but instead, fall onto the floor between two spikes. Hit the blue jump pad right next to the coin to return up to the normal route.
• The third and final user coin is located at 74%, in the ship sequence boss fight. To collect it, you must fly under a laser that the boss shoots close to the ground or drop to the floor altogether.

• The level contains 13,903 objects.
• It is the first level in the Fire Gauntlet.
  • It used to be the third level in the Fire Gauntlet but was made first after the other gauntlets were introduced.
• This is the most liked gauntlet level.
• It received a minor update in 2.11, adding a couple of small details.
• It is the most liked Hard 5 star level in the game.
• It is the second most-downloaded user level in the game, and the second level to ever surpass 60 million downloads.
• It is the ninth most-liked user level in the game.
