Paths

Paths, formally Paths of Power, is a feature of Geometry Dash, being introduced in Update 2.2. It is accessed through the creator menu.

Description

A Path costs 25,000 Mana Orbs to unlock. Each Path is themed around a Shard type. Only one Path can be active at a time - progress is not granted towards inactive Paths. However, multiple Paths can be purchased and the active path can be changed at will. There are ten Paths in total.

While a Path is active, all collected Stars and Moons increase its rank. For every 100 combined Stars and Moons collected, the path rank increases and a new Icon Kit reward is unlocked. A Path can be fully completed in 10 ranks (1000 Stars/Moons), for a total of 10 cosmetic rewards. Additionally, upon completing a Path a bonus Chest is granted which contains:

• Another icon
• Either a colour or 300 diamonds
• Either 10 corresponding shards, or if the player already has 100 of the corresponding shard, 1000 mana orbs
• 1 key (excluding Path of Shadow)

Trivia

• Repeatedly attempting to unlock a path without sufficient Mana Orbs shows dialogue from the Shopkeeper:
  • You cannot afford that path.
  • Collect more Mana Orbs.
  • (appearing disappointed) You do not have enough Mana Orbs.
• 250,000 Mana Orbs in total are required to unlock all Paths. A total of 10000 stars and moons must be collected to complete all of them.
• Prior to Update 2.201, Paths cost 50,000 Mana Orbs each to unlock.
