Trivia
- Penumbral was rated on 29 March 2026 and placed at #10 on the Demonlist on 29 April 2026.
- This addition pushed andromeda out of the Top 10, Avernus out of the Top 15, Defeated Circles out of the Top 20, Slaughterhouse out of the Top 25 after four and a half years, Sinister Silence into the Extended List after three years, UNKNOWN out of the Top 100 after three years, and Dry Out Copyable 2 into the Legacy List after exactly 22 months.
- Despite being estimated to be around Top 10 difficulty at the time of its verification, Penumbral already had its first victor, dovvin, on 29 March after around 50,000 attempts.
- Penumbral is currently the hardest level with xStep as its song.
- It is the second-hardest level to use a main level song, above Silent clubstep and below Quanteuse processing.
- It is also the first rated Extreme Demon level ever to use the xStep song.
- Dash is the last main level song to have yet not been used in an Extreme Demon properly, excluding Quanteuse processing.
