The Practice Mode is a feature of Geometry Dash that allows players to manually or automatically place checkpoints all throughout a level in order to learn the layout of the level itself. You can add a checkpoint by pressing "Z" on your computer keyboard or touching the green gem icon located below the game screen as shown on the image on the right. In a phone device, the only way you can manually add a checkpoint is by pressing the green gem icon.

Description

To activate practice mode a player must select it from the pause screen of a level (official or online). Once in practice mode you may add checkpoints which you will respawn at upon crashing. You may also delete the last spawned check point as you sometimes may place them somewhere you don't want. The player may also toggle auto-checkpoints from the pause menu, which will automatically spawn as you progress through a level in practice mode.
