To enable practice mode, it must be selected through the pause menu using the large green gem button on the left. By default, checkpoints are automatically generated every so often, although this option can be unchecked. The last checkpoint placed can also be removed if inconvenient, where the player can then proceed from the previous checkpoint. This can be done as many times as required.
