Description
Rage Quit begins with the player dying twice to the first spike in Stereo Madness. After that, a fist punches the screen, and the player can finally jump again. They continue playing through Stereo Madness, jumping over the first spike and onto the pillars. On the second pillar, the player must pass the crack and land on a platform.
*0-3%: Rage Quit starts off by killing the player on the first input of Stereo Madness intentionally on the first and second attempts by not letting the player make an input. After the player dies intentionally for the second time, a person punches the screen, revealing a tablet and a mug of coffee. After this, the player can now play the level normally, and the person leaves the room with the mug of coffee.
*3-16%: The gameplay is just normal Stereo Madness until 8%, where the player appears to go out of the tablet. However, there is still gameplay which seems to be out of the tablet. The tablet then switches to the level Dash, then the player goes back inside the tablet, playing the level.
*16-31%: The level then quickly switches back to Stereo Madness, but then the level appears to starts showing 1’s and 0’s, then the level appears to turn into a digital style, then an eye appears and the level shows a fake error message saying “Something went wrong…” then the game transitions the player into a ship section.
*31-59%: As the ship, the player goes into a lot of the different environments, then in 43%, the level goes back into a digital style, with 9 screens behind the player imitating the gameplay. After this, it is just normal Stereo Madness gameplay until a person enters a room with the nine screens and starts destroying them.
*59-85% As the person destroys the screens, the player has to look at the top-middle screen, as that’s the last screen that the person destroys. After the person destroys the rest of the screens, the person shakes the top-middle screen, transitioning the player into the final section.
*85-100%: In the final section, the player is getting chased by a hand in Stereo Madness’s final ship section while going through different environments. Then the player crashes into a fake end wall, which then shows a person punching a tablet, then the level ends.

Next, the level swaps to Dash, where the spider part is normally located. This section is replaced with cube gameplay, which the player navigates. After completing this part, the player jumps twice as the level transitions, sending them back to Stereo Madness. The background slowly opens up, revealing binary code. It then says 'Searching For Devices,' and the eye appears as the following parts of the level glitch in, looking around.

Shortly after, the game crashes, and the player crashes through the screen, entering a straight-flying section that zooms forward through tablet-like obstacles. Then, of course, it goes back to Stereo Madness. Then, nine screens appear in the background, showing the player in Stereo Madness without decorations.

Once it reaches 70%, the player in the background dies. Where the player plays a level on all nine of the screens while a black figure shows up and destroys all of them, the last one to be destroyed is the top middle. When the guy finally picks up the final TV, the player gets sent to a straight fly, but as a cube.

The background changes through several types of levels as a hand chases the player. Once the player reaches the end, they die. The guy punches the screen again, and an end screen appears.

Contest description
The $1000 Stereo Madness Contest is a community event organised by Waboo. Participants compete to decorate the level Stereo Madness, and the winner would get $1000. Rage Quit received first place and won the contest.

The video regarding this contest is Decorate Stereo Madness, Win $1000!.

Contestants typically either:

*Create custom 'Stereo Madness'-inspired levels following strict rules, or
*Compete to beat extremely difficult custom Stereo Madness variants in the shortest time or with specific constraints.

Submissions are usually recorded runs or shared level IDs.

Trivia
*Rage Quit uses one song and four sound effects.
*Rage Quit was submitted for Waboo's $1000 Stereo Madness Remake Contest and received a Mythic Easy rating.
*Rage Quit contains 31,939 objects, making it one of the most visually dense Easy levels.
*Rage Quit is considered more of a cinematic experience than a pure gameplay challenge.
*At the end of Rage Quit, the player actually does die, but the level shows the end screen and ends the level instead of fully restarting. The player can get a new best of 98% at the end.

Rage Quit is a 2.2 Easy Stereo Madness remake created by Bli for Waboo’s 1000$ Stereo Madness competition.[1] Rage Quit is also the first non-demon level to get a Mythic rating. The level also includes a lot of gimmicks, such as killing the player intentionally.

Description

 • 0-3%: Rage Quit starts off by killing the player on the first input of Stereo Madness intentionally on the first and second attempts by not letting the player make an input. After the player dies intentionally for the second time, a person punches the screen, revealing a tablet and a mug of coffee. After this, the player can now play the level normally, and the person leaves the room with the mug of coffee.
 • 3-16%: The gameplay is just normal Stereo Madness until 8%, where the player appears to go out of the tablet. However, there is still gameplay which seems to be out of the tablet. The tablet then switches to the level Dash, then the player goes back inside the tablet, playing the level.
 • 16-31%: The level then quickly switches back to Stereo Madness, but then the level appears to starts showing 1’s and 0’s, then the level appears to turn into a digital style, then an eye appears and the level shows a fake error message saying “Something went wrong…” then the game transitions the player into a ship section.
 • 31-59%: As the ship, the player goes into a lot of the different environments, then in 43%, the level goes back into a digital style, with 9 screens behind the player imitating the gameplay. After this, it is just normal Stereo Madness gameplay until a person enters a room with the nine screens and starts destroying them.
 • 59-85% As the person destroys the screens, the player has to look at the top-middle screen, as that’s the last screen that the person destroys. After the person destroys the rest of the screens, the person shakes the top-middle screen, transitioning the player into the final section.
 • 85-100%: In the final section, the player is getting chased by a hand in Stereo Madness’s final ship section while going through different environments. Then the player crashes into a fake end wall, which then shows a person punching a tablet, then the level ends.

Trivia

 • In a video rating all 10 mythic levels as of November 2024 that he enjoyed from least to most, Colon rated Rage Quit a #9 because “it’s basically just an effect showcase” and “it’s meant to be watched, not played.”[2]
