Shardscapes is a 2.1 Extreme Demon level by Kiba, verified by kiseta (formerly eiruni) on 6 May 2022. The level is slow-paced and timing-based, containing only robot gameplay. The gameplay is very tight, with little room for error, as the player often has to carefully jump on the edges of spikes and hit orbs precisely.

Shardscapes splits into two halves that contrast with each other, with a bright background for the first half and a dark one for the second. The song complements the gameplay by building suspense during the first half of the level.

A sequel, Nullscapes, was released in Update 2.2.

Description
*0-40%: The first half of Shardscapes is a long half-speed mini-robot section. The player must carefully jump across the suspended structures, often requiring micro-clicks to avoid hitting blocks. There are several blue orbs that the player must hit during this section, and the player must double-click on two of them. After navigating a tight gap, the screen fades to white and then transitions to black as the second half begins.
*40-90%: The second half of Shardscapes is a long normal-speed robot section. This section features the same gameplay as the previous section, but with quicker timings. The player must hit many yellow, green, and red orbs, some of which they should double-click on. At 74%, the player must triple-click on a green orb to proceed.
*90-100%: At 89%, after the player double-clicks on a green orb, they will disappear as the level slowly fades to black. The background will go completely dark before the level ends.

Trivia
*Shardscapes was rated on 20 May 2022 and placed at #33 on the Demonlist on 13 June 2022, above Bloodlust and below Silent Club.
**This addition pushed Sephiroth into the Extended List and Rate Demon into the Legacy List.
**Shardscapes is exactly the 30,000th rated level in the game.
*Shardscapes was initially set to be verified by Moosh; however, he quickly dropped the level. MrSpaghetti was the second verifier, but he also stopped playing it. Eventually, the verification landed on kiseta.
*Kiba initially thought that Shardscapes would be low Main List/high Extended List difficulty at the time of its verification, and did not expect it to be harder than Bloodlust, which was Top 30 at the time.
*Shardscapes was the first level on the Demonlist to contain only the robot game-mode.
*There is a sequel to Shardscapes called Nullscapes, verified by Zoink on 2 September 2024 after over 90,000 attempts.
*Drongostache beat Shardscapes for his first Extreme Demon as a jump from Tower Descent on 1 May 2025, 368 days after his first progress report and over a year of playing Shardscapes. He is currently jumping to Nullscapes.
**There is a handful of other players who are also jumping from Shardscapes to Nullscapes, namely Rush, Ralex810, and many more.
*On 11 May 2026, Mighty Major beat Shardscapes as a jump from Bloodbath after only around 21,000 attempts.
*On 19 December 2025, The5Sharks became the first player to beat Shardscapes on 60Hz mobile.
