Sonar

Template:IB-UserLevel Sonar is a 1.9 Easy collaboration level initially created by Minesap and published by JerkRat. It is the first level in the Alpha Pack and is known for its considerably easy gameplay and its rhythmic synchronisation with the soundtrack.

Description

Sonar features vibrant, rhythm-based gameplay with various segments that challenge the player's timing and precision. The level is synchronised with its soundtrack, creating a smooth and engaging experience.

• A cube sequence with simple jumps and timing-based obstacles takes place from 0% to 28%.
• A ship sequence with tall pillar obstacles follows from 29% to 42%.
• A cube sequence with thorn and spike jumps occurs from 43% to 57%.
• A wave sequence requiring precise manoeuvring through tight spaces spans 58% to 71%.
• A final cube sequence with straightforward platforming runs from 72% to 86%.
• A 0.5x-speed UFO finale with careful navigation concludes the level from 87% to 100%.

User coins

• The first coin is located at 31% in the first and only ship sequence. To collect it, fly between two small cubes at the top of the level.
• The second coin is located at 45% in the second cube sequence between two cubes. To collect it, avoid jumping onto the third pillar but drop down, grab the coin, and finally, quickly jump up to prevent crashing.
• The third and final coin is located at 67% in the first and only wave sequence. To collect it, direct the wave down into an opening in a large triangle-like obstacle at the bottom to collect it. Upon grabbing it, quickly manoeuvre up and out of the obstacle through the second opening.
