Stereo Madness is the first level in Geometry Dash. It is generally regarded as the easiest stage in the game, hence it is the only main level rated as easy. Stereo Madness is also a level in Geometry Dash Lite.
}}
Stereo Madness is the first level of Geometry Dash and Geometry Dash Lite and the first level with an Easy difficulty.

Description
Description
Stereo Madness introduces the cube form, featuring sequences that involve blocks and spikes with simple jumping patterns. The ship form is also introduced with sequences involving spacious manoeuvres around obstacles.

Ship sequences take place from 29% to 46% and 85% to 100%.
Stereo Madness begins with a basic cube sequence featuring spikes and simple jumping patterns. It continues with an introductory ship sequence of minimal difficulty. The next cube sequence is slightly harder, also introducing triple spike sets which are encountered twice. The level ends after finishing another ship sequence harder than the last.

Secret coins
Awards
*The first secret coin is located at 50% and collected as the cube. After the first ship sequence, jump twice up the first two columns, slide through a gap in the third column and jump again to collect the coin, or jump thrice up the first three columns and slide down under the fourth column.
*The second secret coin is located at 74% and collected as the cube. After travelling upon four adjacent narrow platforms, jump four times up onto a line of descending blocks and jump off the second-to-last block to collect the coin, clearing a short spike upon return to the main route.
*The third secret coin is located at 98% and collected as the ship. After beginning the second ship sequence, pass the first pair of obstacles before entering a small crevice with a missing block by the second ceiling obstacle. The background will turn red, and the grid will shift to reveal a narrow alternate passage with closely contained spikes. Passing through it will lead to the third coin at the level's end.

Gameplay
If the player completes Stereo Madness in Practice mode, they are rewarded with the dark blue color. After he/she beats the level in Normal mode, they acquire one star in return, while also being given a face-like icon similar in appearance to the featured cube on the app's logo.

Trivia
Trivia
*Stereo Madness is playable on the official Geometry Dash website as a demo level. Secret coins are absent, with the first and third secret coin routes removed, thus more closely resembling the original version of Stereo Madness before Update 1.6.

*Stereo Madness was the only level of the first nine levels to have its difficulty retained while the others were downgraded in Update 1.9.
*Completing the level without any flaws takes an approximate 1 minute 29 seconds.
*Stereo Madness is the only level not to contain jump pads, jump rings or manipulation portals, and also the only level to introduce multiple forms.
*The third coin is not within the main level passage and is situated above the final ship segment. After avoiding the first roof obstacle, there is a small crevice just before the second roof obstacle, free of an extra block. Entering will shift the screen to reveal a narrow upper section with very close contained spikes. There is a safe break about three quarters the way through, before one last spike section, followed by a clear to the third coin and an alternate finish. This is the only instance where the player can divert from the main passage and end somewhere different.
*The third secret coin route is particularly unique:

**Reaching its end is the only instance of being able to diverge from the main route and end somewhere different.
Walkthrough
**It reveals small spikes and pulsating star decorations, which are formally introduced in Clutterfunk and xStep, respectively.

**It was modified and made easier in Update 1.9, having five overhead small spikes that were directly above more small spikes removed and replaced with three overhead short spikes slightly earlier.

*Stereo Madness gives programmed text instructions to 'Tap to jump over the spikes' if colliding twice with the first spike in the level.

*Stereo Madness takes 89 seconds to complete and requires a minimum of 77 jumps.

**Uses the first secret coin route.
