==History== The first video of the level was posted by SyQual creator on 23 June 2021, a month after the creation of Trueffet, the level's prequel.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5PIT8og8AI</ref> SyQual showcased the full layout of the level, however, the final version underwent several changes (for example, the entire final section was missing except for the triple-spike at the end, and the gameplay from 43% to 50% was completely different). In the description, SyQual indicated that he wasn't yet sure how difficult the level would end up. Even then, many in the comments noted that Subterminal Point doesn't resemble its prequel whatsoever, Trueffet. Process of decoration began in July, after the release of the second preview of The Hallucination,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKI0sJOAJ9s</ref> which at the time was being decorated by SyQual as well. In the video description, he announced that he will get to work on Subterminal Point The official first preview of the level was released on 17 October 2021, showing the section starting at 66%.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDNtJrZsZMQ</ref> SyQual first indicated the approximate difficulty of the level, saying it could reach the top 10, and also announced that Baeru would be the level's verifier. He also noted that the level's theme revolves around [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MapleStory MapleStory], a South Korean online game released in 2003. The level was fully done in 2022, and a preview was released on 12 February 2022.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix3UHV7trRQ</ref> The color pallette changed slightly from the initial version; the drops had more green tones, which SyQual later replaced with bluer and more aquamarine tones. However, after being finished, Subterminal Point remained idle for over a year, and new information about it only appeared on 15 May 2023. On that day, SyQual posted a video showcasing the updated version of the level,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG8-KPIk-tk</ref> with improved decoration and a total of 40,000 objects. SyQual also informed in the description that the level is in need of a verifier, making it clear that Baeru will not be verifying the level. ===Verification=== But even after the visual update of Subterminal Point, the start of verification had to wait more than a year: the first progress of 56-100% was uploaded by PoCle on 27 May 2024, a skilled South Korean player.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfaM__sGWKQ</ref> Plusxenon, a close friend of SyQual, asked PoCle to take on the level. PoCle liked it and therefore agreed to be its verifier. He also thought the level's difficulty to be top 25. PoCle's worst fail was 91%, set on 28 December 2024.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n14v06zZV-8</ref> However, this is not particularly surprising: the end of the level is one of the most difficult parts, even containing one 120FPS frame-perfect. PoCle verifying Subterminal Point a day later, on 29 December 2024 , after 72,892 attempts.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2wmRMgACH4</ref>
