It is the first instalment in the Sonic Series, preceding [[UltraSonic]]. Supersonic was considered among the most difficult levels of its time, with several memory-heavy ball, cube and UFO sections, moderately tight ship and wave segments scattered throughout the level, and its notoriously difficult final ship segment at the very end of the level.

*Due to the way level lengths were determined in Update 1.9, Supersonic was displayed as Extra-Long (XL) rather than Long before the coin update.
*Supersonic has a sequel called [[UltraSonic]], an Insane Demon created by the same team of Supersonic, excluding DaddePro.
*Supersonic was ranked #30 in Geometry Dash Today's list, 'The Top 100 Greatest Geometry Dash Levels Of All Time'.
*Supersonic is the only level in the Sonic Series with the 's' in 'sonic' being written with a lowercase letter in its title.
