THE LIGHTNING ROAD is a 1.2/2.0 solo Easy Demon created, verified and published by timeless real. It is the third and final level in the Demon Pack 3. It is one of the most downloaded levels. It is also said by many to be one of the easiest Demon-rated levels in the game.

Gameplay

The level boasts relatively simple sections. The level starts with an easy normal-speed cube section. The first cube section is relatively easy. Next is a short ship segment where only one long input is needed. After that, there is a simple ball segment, followed by an equally simple cube section. Here, the hazards are clearly shown, but the background darkens occasionally.

Following that is a series of simple ball and ship segments and then a cube and ball section, which is slightly harder as it requires the player to memorize which passage to enter. The level finishes with a ship segment and then a cube sequence. The last portion of the cube, starting at 95%, does not require any input, and the player should be able to finish the level.

Errors

• There is an error halfway through the third cube section (if the player follows the order above) where the gravity portal can be skipped, resulting in the player falling through the gap and landing on the ground. However, the player will later encounter a wall and crash at 88%.
• After the second ship sequence, there is another glitch as the player can fly above the ball portal and to the next section. This glitch was patched, and the player must now avoid the ball portal.
• In the same part, there is a glitch where the player will get into the cube portal in reverse gravity.

• The level's password is 808080.
• The level contains 3,527 objects.
• The level is 1m 21s in length.
• The level was rated on 22 November 2013.
  • It is one of the first five Demons rated simultaneously.
• THE LIGHTNING ROAD, along with The Nightmare and Crescendo, are part of Demon Pack 3.
• It is the first level to use flashing lights throughout the whole level.
• THE LIGHTNING ROAD, along with The Nightmare, is one of many players' first completed Demons.
• The level used to have three unverified user coins that were added around 5 March 2017, but they were removed in a later update.
• There is a secret path in the level which is actually a trap, preventing the player from cheesing the level. Near the wall that would kill the player, there is text that reads 'No secret way for you >:)'.
• The scribble at the final part with orbs used to say 'thank you'.
• There used to be text at the end saying 'Good job! Enjoy your 10 stars!'
