THE LIGHTNING ROAD is a 1.2/2.0 solo Easy Demon created, verified, and published by timeless real. It is the third and final level in the Demon Pack 3. It is one of the most downloaded levels and is also said by many to be one of the easiest-rated Demons in the game.

Gameplay

The level boasts relatively simple sections. The level starts with an easy normal-speed cube section. The first cube is not tricky at all, and it can be passed very easily. Next is a small ship sequence where only one long input is needed. After that, there is a simple ball segment, followed by an equally simple cube section. Here, the hazards are clearly shown, but the background darkens occasionally.

Following that is a series of simple ball segments and ship sequences and then a cube and ball section, which is slightly harder as it requires the player to memorize which passage to enter. The level finishes with a ship segment and then a cube sequence. The last portion of the cube does not require any input, and the player should be able to finish the level. The text at the end says, "Good job! Enjoy your 10 stars!"

Errors

• There is an error halfway through the third cube section (if the player follows the order above) where the gravity portal can be skipped, resulting in the player falling through the gap and landing on the ground. However, the player will later encounter a wall and crash at 88%.
• After the second ship sequence, there is another glitch as the player can fly above the ball portal and to the next section. This glitch was patched, as the ball portal must now be avoided.
• In the same part, there is a glitch where the player will get into the cube portal in reverse gravity.

• THE LIGHTNING ROAD, along with The Nightmare and Crescendo, are part of Demon Pack 3.
• It is the first-ever level to use flashing lights throughout the whole level.
• This level, along with The Nightmare, is one of many players' first completed Demons.
• The level is the fourth rated Demon in Geometry Dash.
• The level used to have three unverified user coins that were added around March 5, 2017 (early 2.1) but removed in a later update.
