The Golden is an upcoming Extreme Demon created by Bo and set to be verified by Dolphy. It is supposed to be a remake of El Dorado. It has a green-theme and the difficulty mostly based on timings and fast-paced waves. The difficulty is supposed to rival Tartarus, a level that is near-impossible.
Gameplay
0% - 27% - The level starts off with a UFO with pixel-perfect timings and the screen is mostly dark. After a little bit, the player turns into a ball and the timings continue as the player must press orbs precisely. After this, there is a brief UFO section with more timings. Next, the colors get a little more green, and the player turns into a ship. This ship has extremely tight spaces and the ship randomly switches gravity. Following the ship is a brief block section where half of the player's vision is blocked by a big black glow pillar. Ending this part is a title screen of the level.
28% - 72% - The part starts with a ridiculous wave section with almost impossible timings at high speeds. Also, there are heaps of anti-gravity portals scattered throughout this section. On top of that, the size of the wave changes occasionally. After a while, the player turns into a UFO with extreme timings. Then, the player turns back to a wave with, once again, insane timings. Eventually, the player turns into a ship, but the ship has many teleportation portals and anti-gravity portals and very difficult timings. Next, there's a brief wave section as the wave turns into a block, which the block presses three very difficult green orbs. Afterward, there's a dual wave with absolutely ridiculous spamming that is nearly impossible. Next is a very short wave, and then a ball section to end off this part.
72% - 100% - This part starts off with a robot section where the player must spam to get through the timings, but occasionally there are some less spammy places. Next is a UFO that is also pretty spammy, but mostly filled with timings. Following this is a short spider section with difficult timings.
Trivia
- Since this level is a remake of the 2.0 level El Dorado, the name comes from the English translation of El Dorado, which is The Golden.
