Template:Infobox Level Thinking Space II is an unrated 2.1/2.2 Extreme Demon mega-collaboration level hosted by DrCuber and CairoX, co-hosted by NineDice, published by CairoX, and verified by Zoink on 25 May 2025.[1] It is the official sequel to Thinking Space and, if rated, is expected to place within the Top 5 on the Demonlist.
History
2021
The development of Thinking Space II was initially discussed on 30 November, when a gameplay preview of the level was released on the Communist Cyclone channel. At that time, it did not have a specific name and was referred to as a 'Thinking Space Sequel'. On 4 December, DrCuber posted a video where he demonstrated the part by Jawis that he decorated. On 5 December, Triforce posted his part of the level; he rebuilt the first half of Maxmur's part.
2022
On 19 January, ADrone uploaded Meatius' part, which he had decorated, to his channel. On 6 February, the first official preview of this level is released on the DrCuber channel, where new parts and the nicknames of future decorators are demonstrated. A gameplay showcase of the level was released on fnm04's channel on 28 April, which attracted more attention to the project. galofuf uploaded a video of HaydenDom's part that he decorated on 30 April. DiamondSkull uploaded a video of the final art he created for the level, with the help of ThunderDarkness and Kevellium, to his channel.
2023
No new information is given about the project. With rare exceptions, the level was uploaded as an unofficial showcase by unrecognisable individuals, some of whom dared to play leaked copies of the gameplay and record their progress on them.
2024
On 4 March, CairoX uploaded the fully decorated version of the level. ADrone's decoration was replaced by GamerKnight750, and creators Kurewa, NineDice, RealVet, Crowlley and Meox are also decorators. Hyperlith was appointed as the verifier. However, he was struggling to make progress due to the level's difficulty. This level was given to Zoink, who buffed it from a Top 15 to a Top 3. Many believed this was harder than Tidal Wave. On 16 November, Zoink launched the first live broadcast of verifying Thinking Space II, where he achieved 50%, 60-100% and 47-77%. On 27 November, fnm04 posted a showcase of the level with Zoink's buffs. Live verification broadcasts ceased until 2025, as Zoink was verifying Quanteuse Processing.
2025
Zoink launches another stream on 3 January, where he approaches his record from 0%, achieving 43%. Off-stream, Zoink achieved 51% and 53-100%, after which he took a break to complete andromeda. However, on 26 January, he posted a video of Thinking Space II being completed in two runs: 54% and 53-100%. After this, Zoink returned to verifying the level, regularly broadcasting it on his YouTube channel. On 4 February, he got 72%. On 14 February, he achieved 77% as his new record and then 79% offline before postponing the verification to complete other levels in the Top 50. While he was doing this, the host, CairoX, decided, based on the player Diamond's opinion, that it would be better to nerf Thinking Space II to Top 15; however, this would not happen, as Zoink would buff it even more. On 14 April, Zoink returned to verifying Thinking Space II and began a live stream, getting 90% (his previous record was 91%). In almost all of his subsequent streams, he reached the last part of the level but failed. On 3 May, he died at 95%, the last click of the level. On 7 May, Zoink got 29-100%. Zoink verified Thinking Space II on 24 May 2025 after 83 attempts at the final part of the level.
Gameplay
- 0-7% (Jawis + DrCuber): The level starts at half-speed with a ship. It has gravity and size changes, orbs and teleportation portals. The ship has manoeuvres between obstacles in narrow spaces, making it harder. Sometimes, the player will be given a break in the form of platforms on which they can land without dying, but there is no time to relax. This part ends with a straight-fly.
- 7-16% (Rin04 + korewa): Next is a spider with precise clicks and orbs, and then a ball that does the same thing but has size changes. After that, a ship with gravity changes in the form of portals and orbs appears, requiring manoeuvring and straight-flying. It ends as a dual and with wave spam with size changes. It becomes normal speed at the end.
- 16-23% (HaydenDom + galofuf): Next is a half-speed ball with extreme timings, pads, portals and orbs; some are invisible. Many passages are narrow, making it more difficult. After that is a cube with similar gameplay, but with gravity changes. The part ends with a straight-fly.
- 23-31% (V453C70M14 + ADrone): A difficult cube, then a UFO with critical timings and tight spaces. After that is a ball requiring manoeuvring in the form of a green orb timing, a hard wave, a mini-spider with square orbs and a triple-speed cube with blue orbs. Some decorations block the screen, making it harder to see.
- 31-38% (UFokinWotM8 + CairoX): There is a difficult normal speed mini-wave requiring manoeuvring through a Clubstep monster, followed by a narrow space with spikes. The wave returns to normal size, but the spaces remain narrow and contain gravity changes. It becomes a mini-wave again and the player needs to enter a narrow passage, with precise gravity changes.
- 38-48% (Hyperbola + RealVet): A difficult, short robot with timings and orbs, a ball; first as a swing-copter, then as a dual ball, and a mini-ball reminiscent of a Slaughterhouse ball. This is followed by a robot, approaching the drop.
- 48-71% (NcaT + KugelBlitZ + Crowlley): The drop begins with a triple-speed wave featuring size changes that is reminiscent of the Avernus drop. The speed becomes normal-speed with the spam, then goes back to triple-speed and to a difficult ship with orbs. It briefly returns to a wave, followed by a UFO with orbs. This is followed by a double-speed cube with the same gameplay elements. Then, the player approaches a dash orb, dashing to a robot, and then a wave. It goes back to a triple-speed mini-cube.
- 71-83% (Maxmur + TriForce + Meox): Next is a tight quadruple-speed swing-copter with many obstacles, an asymmetrical wave and spider dual which has blocks and spikes scattered everywhere, then a difficult robot with jumps between saws and changing gravity, and a ship in space with blue orbs similar to Thinking Space.
- 83-97% (Meatius + GamerKnight750): A normal-speed short, narrow mini-wave is followed by a mini-UFO with severe timings using orbs, a double-speed mini-ship with orbs and gravity changes and straight-flying, and a triple-speed narrow mini-wave. It proceeds to a half-speed cube, which requires orbs and memory, and then the level concludes with a normal-speed quadruple-spike.
- 97-100% (DiamondSkull + ThunderDarkness): This part shows the end-screen. It features a background with rocks in rivers, a planet, and a satellite shown in the sky, along with the level's name in the middle of the scene.

Trivia
- Thinking Space II was coincidentally verified on the same day as another top-level, Amethyst.
- Zoink added a CBF detector at 95% without CairoX's permission, leading to minor controversy.
