The Tower is a feature of Geometry Dash, introduced in Update 2.2. It is accessed from a stone portal on the second-to-last screen of the level menu slider that then reveals the Tower on a small floating island.

Description

The Tower features official platformer levels, with the icon no longer subject to automatic horizontal movement and able to controlled using an expanded control scheme. Levels must be navigated through, avoiding hazards and completing puzzles, progressing through checkpoints which respawn the icon if it is damaged, until reaching the end. Near the end, there are three floating blocks which each contain a secret coin, which are dispensed for collection by knocking their underside. Each block is assigned an objective which must be completed for their respective secret coins to be dispensed.

  • Collect all regular coins
  • Collect all 3 blue coins
  • Activate within the time limit

Selecting the door of the Tower enters its menu where its levels can be accessed through more doors. These must be completed in sequence starting from the door at the lowest level. Locked levels appear greyed-out, completed levels have their door opened, and incomplete unlocked levels are slightly open with the inside appearing light blue.

Trivia

  • The information button for the Tower's page on the level menu shows a unique popup: "This path leads to an old tower. It's been left alone for years, with little reason to explore."

Introductory dialogue

When entering the Tower from the level menu for the first time, messages are received from Scratch:
  • Where do you think you're going?
    • There's nothing over there, this place has been abandoned for years.
    • ...
    • We can take a quick look if you want, but we can't stay long.
    • RubRub is always watching....

After this, the Tower appears and Scratch continues:

  • Who left the lights on?
    • I got a bad feeling about this...

After completing all levels on the first floor of the Tower, Scratch comtinues:

  • Where have you been?! I've been looking everywhere for you!
    • You really shouldn't be poking around here.
    • Never know what you could find. Or who...
    • ... I thought this was a simple cube game.
