Template:Infobox levelUltimate Destruction is an unreleased level from the Geometry Dash beta. Presumably, it evolved into the level now known as Base After Base.

Description

What is shown of the level mostly resembles Base After Base, although a few portions resemble obstacle arrangements in Stereo Madness, indicating this level had begun development before it was split up to become those two individual levels. Jump pads and jump rings appear in the level, along with gravity portals of both the activation (yellow) and deactivation (blue) variants. This goes to show the extent of development had already progressed beyond the original design elements shown in the gallery below. The last significant difference is the fact that while flying the ship, the drop-down roof had not yet been implemented to contain the ship to the static view and could be flown outside of visibility. The trailer only shows the first two thirds of the level, and the vertical camera scrolling was slightly different from what it is now.

Trivia

  • The video shows the original name of Geometry Dash was previously Geometry Jump.
  • The cube icon seen in the level is normally unlocked by completing Can't Let Go.
  • Robert Topala explained that the composer of the soundtrack, TMM43, did not give permission for it to be used in-game. Despite this, Update 1.9 introducing custom music allows it to be selected for user-created levels.
  • In the gallery below, an image shows 'Ultiate Destruction' instead of 'Ultimate Destruction' (likely a typo) in the level selection menu. This is occurs at the very start of the trailer right before transitioning to the level.
  • Ultimate Destruction would have been the only main level to be Extra-Long length instead of Extra-Long, although Blast Processing is very close.
