The '''1.2 update''' was the second major update to [[Geometry Dash]]. It introduced the ninth level, [[Cycles]], and featured two new characters. It was officially announced on October 14, 2013, by [[Robert Topala]] at DroidGamers.com. He also fixed minor bugs, mainly the text input issue present in the first two versions of the game. Google Play Games achievements were added, calling for more incentives, apart from the in-game [[achievements]].
