Update 1.3 was an update to Geometry Dash that was released on November 20, 2013. It mainly introduced the new level xStep, which held the title as the first level to use blue pads on the regular route. It also brought about a new rank system to have users be rated on their number of stars earned by completing levels. Ten new achievements and characters and a new difficulty called Demon were also added, including a number of bugfixes and tweaks. Update 1.3 also added stars to main levels.

Geometry Dash Lite Introductions
On November 5th, 2013, Geometry Dash Lite was updated to 1.3 with the following:
- New FREE level "Polargeist"!
- Unlock new characters and colors!
- Achievements and rewards!
- Bugfixes and tweaks.
