Update 1.5
Update 1.5 was the fifth major update to Geometry Dash. The update was released to the public January 31st, 2014. It mainly introduced Theory of Everything, with the first of Newgrounds artist DJ-Nate's soundtracks included in an official RobTop level. This level introduces a new portal placing the player inside a UFO. With each tap, it increases the player's upward velocity. This effect is reversed when traveling through a gravity portal. This gameplay was likely inspired by the game Flappy Bird. Theory of Everything also introduces purple jump rings and pads on the main path, causing a smaller jump than the original yellow jump pad delivers. This update also introduces the "Demon" difficulty for custom levels. However, no official levels were rated as such until Update 1.6.
