Update 1.7 introduced a fifteenth level, [[Electrodynamix]], featuring new speed portals. The [[Icon Kit]] received 14 new icons and 1 new colour, as well as a new rainbow trail that, when selected, adds an aesthetic outline to the icon. The update also introduced the option for created levels to be made copyable by other players, and new backgrounds available to select in the [[Level Editor|level editor]], among other improvements to the editor UI as more [[objects]] were included. 14 new [[Map Packs|map packs]] were also added. [[Electroman Adventures]] received a difficulty increase from Harder to Insane.

Overview

Update 1.7 is an update in Geometry Dash. It was added on May 21, 2014 upon announcement by the Twitter handle of Robert Topala. It added a new level called Electrodynamix, new speed portals and brought other effects and enhancements to the game.

Introductions

The 1.7 Update introduces a level called Electrodynamix, 4 new portals called speed portals and glowing spikes and blocks. It also introduced new decorations, categories for items, a grey color for customizing your icon, new icons, new achievements, and the rainbow effect.
