New level, Electrodynamix

Update 1.7 is the seventh major update in Geometry Dash. It was added on May 21, 2014 upon announcement by the Twitter handle of Robert Topala. It introduced a new level called Electrodynamix, new speed boosts, flashing lights, and more small additions.

Introductions

  • The 15th level, Electrodynamix.
  • 4 boosts that set you at different speeds.
  • The difficulty for Electroman Adventures was changed to Insane.
  • Introduced a new background.
  • Glowing spikes and blocks.
  • New icons and colors.
  • New achievements.
  • The "rainbow" effect.
  • Categories for items.
  • New decorations.

Trivia

  • There is a reverse speed portal colored yellow in one of the pictures, however such a portal doesn't appear in the game.
  • There is also a ball in one picture that was never added.
  • There is an icon in one picture that was a bit changed and brought into the game.
  • In the second and fourth image, there is a Clubstep like-ground that can be colored with C-OBJ, but it was never added to the game.
  • The four speed portals image preview teases the icon beaten for this level.
