Versus is an upcoming feature of Geometry Dash. It has been delayed, but not to a specific update. This mode may allow players to play 1v1 or more, depending on what RobTop does with the feature. According to RobTop, the way it'll most likely work is that there will be rooms and people race to beat a level.

Trivia

There has been a fake mockup of the versus going around, with 'challenge' in the top corner. This was actually found to be fake, after rob lost his account to a troll, who posted fake images.

Pending release dialogue

When repeatedly selecting the Versus button, a message is received in sequence from the Keymaster and Scratch.

• (The Keymaster) Yea... It's still delayed.
• (Scratch) I blame RobTop.
• (The Keymaster) Who else could we blame? We're not even real.
• (Scratch) Speak for yourself I'm real!

• (Scratch) I HAVE SAID TOO MUCH! QUICKLY TO THE CHOPPER!
