wPopoff is an American player, widely considered one of the best players in the game, alongside Trick and Zoink. He is one of the youngest players to beat levels on the Demonlist, having completed the former Top 1 levels Acheron and Slaughterhouse at the age of 13. His popularity skyrocketed when he became the second victor of Tidal Wave after an intense friendly rivalry with Trick. He is also known for beating Top Demons with extremely low attempt counts, such as his 8,205 attempts on Firework. wPopoff is the #2 player on the Pointercrate Stats Viewer, above Trick and below Zoink.

wPopoff verified the former Top 1 Amethyst, a spiritual successor to The Golden, on 25 May 2025 after about 113,000 attempts. He also beat the former Top 1 Thinking Space II on 6 November 2025 after a worst fail of 95%.
History
His initial uploads were completions of difficult Extreme Demon levels, including kowareta, Arctic Lights, Zodiac and Slaughterhouse; wPopoff had prior experience with the game, as his in-game account existed years before his YouTube channel.

wPopoff's most recent achievement is verifying the former Top 1 level, Society, the sequel to Escalator, which he did on 20 June 2026.
wPopoff's first major achievement was Slaughterhouse, which he completed after 105k attempts, uploading it to his channel on 3 January 2023. Three weeks later, on 24 January 2023 he would upload his completion of Zodiac, his 3rd hardest Demon at the time. On 5 February 2023, he beat Crimson Planet after ~5.5k attempts. The same month, on February 25, 2023, wPopoff completed Oblivion.

2024
On 1 March 2024, wPopoff became the closest first victor of Tidal Wave with his death at 95%, the last input in the level and the current worst fail in Geometry Dash history.
On 2 January 2024, wPopoff achieved significant progress on Silent clubstep, the #3 Demon at the time; he fluked the level from 17% to 62%, eventually completing it on 23 January. On 27 January, he beat The Hallucination after 10,691 attempts and three days of play. A day later, he successfully beat Promethean after 4,218 attempts, the same day he started practising it.

Within the previous year, wPopoff showcased significant progress on Tidal Wave, which he had been practising for a month before. On 1 March 2024, he became the closest first victor of Tidal Wave after his 95% fail, which is the last input in the level. Because of this, Trick managed to beat the level before him six days later. On Twitter, wPopoff congratulated Trick for his success, saying he deserved to win the race because Trick has been a top player for a while and wPopoff said he deserves the crown for being the best player that time.

On 10 March 2024, after over five months of playing, a 38-100% run and a fail at 90% and 95%, wPopoff became the second victor of Tidal Wave. He would upload his completion on YouTube two days later. On 17 March, he beat Tunnel of Despair.

On 12 June 2024, wPopoff became the third victor of Avernus. He beat the level in just six days. Nineteen days later, he completed KOCMOC after 8,000 attempts. On 5 September, he posted a progress showcase of his verification project, Vehemence, an upcoming sequel to Anahita, getting an impressive 53-100% run. He commented that it was harder than Firework but easier than Sakupen Circles. On 25 October, he beat The Yangire after about 11,000 attempts, making it his 17th hardest level at the time.

After a period of inactivity in February and the first half of March, on 15 March 2026, wPopoff posted on YouTube, announcing that he had taken a break from the game to focus on real-life matters. ====Society verification====
On 9 April 2026, wPopoff began verifying Society, an analogue horror-themed Top 10 difficulty level hosted by Viwi. However, he would buff the level to potential Top 5 difficulty shortly after. However, many people urged him to buff Society to Top 1, saying it deserves to be the new hardest upcoming level in the game. On 5 May 2026, he made a YouTube video in which he went over all the buffs he had made, adding multiple 120FPS frame-perfects and a couple of 240FPS frame-perfects.

He accused them of having rigged the votes in some way, presumably through vote-bots.
*wPopoff's most-viewed YouTube video is the verification of Amethyst at over 1.4 million views, followed by his completion of Tidal Wave, at 1 million views.
*In January 2023, wPopoff created his Twitter account, but he did not make any posts until six months later. **The same week, he beat Avernus, and Trick became the #1 player.
*wPopoff beat Slaughterhouse on his first TikTok video on 20 January 2025. The video and his previous TikTok account were deleted for unknown reasons, and wPopoff then made a new one.
*wPopoff's Sonic Wave Infinity completion video references the former Top 1 Extreme Demon Tidal Wave, hence the title of the video - 'Tidal Wave Infinity', and the thumbnail, which is a photo of an ocean wave.
*In late 2025, wPopoff's AI-generated thumbnail of the level Apocalyptic Trilogy sparked controversy and even backlash against him, with people condemning the use of generative AI, with some even claiming that he does not care as much about the game and the community as in the past.
*wPopoff responded to his removal from the verification project of Vehemence, saying that he does not care about it, and that he wanted to work on other things in the game.
*Interestingly, both of wPopoff's Top 1 verifications, Amethyst and Society, have very long end screens, which many members of the community have pointed out.

Template:Infobox PlayerwPopoff is a skilled American player in Geometry Dash. He is considered one of the best players in the game[1][2], alongside Trick and Zoink, as well as one of the youngest, having completed the former Top 1 level Acheron at the age of 13, and even beating Cataclysm when he was 11 years old.[3] As of 1 March 2024, he is the closest player to becoming the first victor of the Top 1 Tidal Wave with his death at 95%, the last input in the level and the current worst fail in Geometry Dash history. wPopoff's other feats include Unnerfed Slaughterhouse, Silent clubstep, and Sakupen Circles. He is also known for accomplishing difficult levels in record-low attempt counts, such as Tartarus.

History

wPopoff created his YouTube channel on 17 October 2022, and uploaded his first video on 7 November 2022. All of his uploaded videos are Geometry Dash-related. His initial uploads were completions of difficult Extreme Demon levels, including kowareta, Arctic Lights, Zodiac and Slaughterhouse; wPopoff had prior experience with the game, as his in-game account existed years before his YouTube channel.

wPopoff's first major achievement was Slaughterhouse, which he completed after 105k attempts, uploading it to his channel on 3 January 2023.

On 4 March 2023, wPopoff completed Tartarus, followed by Cosmic Cyclone in 3.5k attempts. On 30 March 2023, he completed Truefett. One week later, wPopoff started uploading videos of his progress on the Top 1 level Acheron; on 7 April 2023, he died at 47%; and on 13 April 2023, at 69%. Two weeks later, on 29 April 2023, he fluked from 69% to 97%. On 21 June 2023, wPopoff beat Acheron after 69,442 attempts and two deaths at 97%, making him the fourth victor of the level and becoming his current hardest Demon.

Following Acheron, wPopoff completed Sakupen Circles on 27 July 2023 in 25k attempts. On 7 August 2023, he beat The Golden after 13k attempts and a death at 90%. He completed Kenos one week later, on 14 August 2023, taking only three days and 4.8k attempts to complete it. He completed Sonic Wave Infinity on 10 September 2023.

wPopoff's next major feat was Unnerfed Slaughterhouse, which he was set to verify, completing it on 8 October 2023, which "only took one day[4]." On 14 October 2023, beat Silent Club, followed on 20 October 2023 by Hard Machine.

After Hard Machine, wPopoff began showcasing his significant progress on the Top 1 level Tidal Wave, which he had been practicing for a month prior. Meanwhile, he would beat Buffed Acheron on 11 November 2023, Trotil on 7 December 2023, Shukketsu on 15 December 2023, and Keres on 10 December 2023.

In Update 2.2, wPopoff completed christmashouse (a Christmas-themed Slaughterhouse remake) on 26 December 2023. On 2 January 2024, he achieved significant progress on Silent clubstep, #3 on the Demonlist at the time, completing the level three weeks later on 23 January 2024 after a 14-100% run, 9-100% run 8 attempts later, and a fluke from 17% to 62%.

On 1 March 2024, wPopoff became the closest first victor of Tidal Wave with his death at 95%, the last input in the level and the current worst fail in Geometry Dash history.
