Template:Infobox Level Windy Landscape is a very popular 1.9 demon level byWOOGI1411; due to the old song not working when it was released, however, it remains not featured. Initially in 1.9, this level was considered an insane demon – currently it is considered a hard demon (sometimes a very hard and rarely a medium). Soon after the original level came out, WOOGI updated the level and buffed it slightly.

On June 4, 2016, this level received a 2.0 remake – the new level is called Windy Landscape X and is made by AngryBoy and WOOGI and verified by MaxiS9.

Level Layout

The level starts out with a relatively simple cube before transitioning quickly to a ball that requires accurate timing and a mini ship with some narrow navigating and straight flying.

It then returns to a short cube and then a UFO which, again, requires timing that goes in sync with the song. Afterwards is the wave, which has a mini-wave that require some mashing (indicated in the picture above) and a narrow wave with gravity portals. After a more lengthy cube and then a ship part with 2 blocks wide straight fly and 1 block wide mini straight fly with yellow orbs to switch to each tunnel. Afterwards is a very narrow tunnel and another narrow wave; the song prepares for the drop after a somewhat easier UFO section.

The drop starts at the dual cube section at a fast speed – the second half of this level focuses more on well-timed duals. Some of these dual parts have fakes that need to be evaded. After these multiple dual sections, a simple cube and mini-ship section follows (with a much easier 2-block straight fly).

After a few back-and-forth changes from cube and ship is the final dual parts and the ship. The level ends with the words "THX" and with the cube. In the 2.0 remake, certain parts of this level are buffed while few others are nerfed (more evidently shown in the final ship part, which had been replaced by a regular ship and a short mini instead of a complete mini). An easily avoidable spike will be located right below the "THX" in the remake, and the level will add with text: "Veryfied by MaxiS9, GG!" (This is most likely a typo.)

Trivia

  • This level is initially considered one of the hardest, but beatable demons in 1.9; in 2.0, it is usually considered a demon most moderately skilled players beat to prepare for much harder demon levels.
  • This level was unfeatured due to Windfall not working for a while in Geometry Dash.

Crashes

  • AleXPain24 crashed at 95%, four times before he can beat the actual level.
  • The Universal Army, a wiki member, crashed at 95% twice.
  • Danilkaz crashed at 92%, by not pressing in the ball part.
  • Riot crashed at 88%.
  • Dorami crashed at 97%, the last cube jump after the update.
  • Slypp crashed at 97% twice due to not hearing his audio queue properly.
