'''X''' is a [[Update 2.0|2.0]] Easy Demon collaboration level by [[TriAxis]] and TamaN, verified and published by TriAxis on 25 February 2015. TamaN created the latter half of gameplay, while TriAxis did the rest. The level is primarily focused on gameplay and not design, unlike many other Demons made in Update 2.0. The level does not seem to have a set theme or style, constantly changing its design. X received praise for its gameplay, design, and music sync. It is the sixth most-liked Demon in the game, and continues to be popular for its entry-level difficulty. The level is dedicated to [[EricVanWilderman]].

==Description==
X begins with an easy half-speed cube sequence with a red-coloured background and a unique design scheme. The cube then transitions into a double-speed robot sequence with somewhat difficult jumps and timed orbs, but the level remains relatively easy. Afterwards, the music rapidly picks up pace and heads into a triple-speed ship sequence with a new gray colour scheme and a very different design. This sequence is pretty easy and requires little flying skill to pull off, despite featuring multiple moving objects. It then quickly transitions into a UFO sequence with fairly simple timings to get down, followed by a brief ball sequence with one orb to hit and a potential bug. Afterwards, the player transitions into a cube sequence with a pair of teleport portals. The teleport portals take the player to another, much easier triple-speed ship sequence with more moving objects. This ship sequence then transitions into a moderately annoying mini-UFO sequence with a couple of orbs and a simple half-speed mini-cube sequence with two jumps. It then switches to a wave sequence and a brief cube sequence, followed by a robot sequence and a ship sequence in quick succession, ending as a ball. This ball sequence is quite confusing, but it is relatively easy with a little practice. After this, a cube sequence quickly follows up, entering a dual. It is possible to fall below the portal, skip the dual, and eventually die at 62%.

This dual sequence begins as a cube-robot dual and then becomes a regular dual-ball. Both of these are relatively easy. The dual then transitions into a brief cube sequence, a difficult ship sequence, and a wave sequence. The ship and the wave are both at triple speed and have arguably confusing timings to learn. It then transitions to another easy robot sequence, followed by a brief automatic ship sequence, and a relatively simple cube-and-robot segment. The last section of X is slow and mostly goes at normal or double speed. A very easy cube sequence and wave sequence follow, followed by a sort of mini-maze of breakable blocks with three teleport portals to go through. These portals lead to a brief yet annoying wave sequence. After this, a final UFO sequence follows at double speed, with very easy, music-synced timings to make. After the UFO sequence, the player transitions to a mini-wave sequence and then a ship sequence, which has infamously caused many players to crash, for a very carefully timed click must be made to direct the ship into a narrow area with breakable blocks. It then turns into one last fast cube sequence, which is nearly auto except for one green orb. The level then ends with the creator's name 'tria'''X'''is' to make a pun on the level's name.

==User coins==
X contains three user coins.
*The first coin is easily visible and simple to get. It is located in the UFO and is easy to obtain. It is, however, behind a fake block.
*The second coin is the most difficult and confusing of the three in the level. The player has to click to send their ball up, then alter their gravity. When they hit the green orb, they should fly into a fake block passage and get the coin. They should not hit the blue orb after that.
*The third and final coin is in the short breakable block-pillar maze near the end of the level. It is at the topmost teleport portal.

*X was ranked #29 in Geometry Dash Today's list of 'The Top 100 Greatest Geometry Dash Levels Of All Time'.
*X was [[Weekly Demon]] #49.
*It has been suggested that 'X' represents the Roman numeral for 10, representing the 10-star rating TriAxis requested for the level. This theory is also what EricVanWilderman thought in his video about the level.
*X was at one point in first place on the Featured Tab.
*[[Riot]] once said that he does not believe X should get a first-place feature in a stream, stating he had seen much better levels that deserved the top-place feature.
*Two levels, Y by [[knobbelboy]] and Geomania and Z by Zyzyx, were inspired by X.
*Using a colourblind hack would create a visual error that makes it so that the second yellow orb is more to the right and lower down than it is supposed to be at 14-15%.
