History
Xanii started his YouTube channel on June 22, 2014. When he started the channel, he went by the name TheVideoGamer133, uploading ROBLOX content. He then uploaded a Geometry Dash video about a texture pack. After this video saw more success than his earlier videos, he continued uploading more Geometry Dash-related content, starting his career within the game.

He uploaded various Demon completions, such as Poltergeist, ICE Carbon Diablo X, and Cataclysm. These video completions did not get too many views. However, a year later, his Cosmic Cyclone verification gained 14,000 views as his first popular video.<!-- This info-jump from Cataclysm to Cosmic Cyclone is too big and abrupt --> This accomplishment would start his career, and his next couple of videos got him around 25,000 views in total.

He would verify multiple levels in the next couple of months, thus gaining popularity. These verifications include:

*Demon Lord
*Kayne West
*Hatred Redux
*Glacial Reflections
*The Dark Lord
*Demon Nostalgists

He also uploaded various Demon completions, such as Bloodlust, Volume, Bloodbath, aftermath, Dont Stop Me Now, Sakupen Hell, Polish Alphabet, Quest For Perfection, Glide, INNARDS, End Of The Night, 1929, -45 (first victor), Pathos IV, Cocco Bello, Skrrah, 8o X, Edge of the Blade (first victor), Brimtanic Paradise (first victor) and many more.

These are just some of his many completions in just two months. Xanii later started using XBot to showcase levels. Levels showcased were usually extremely hard, such as Top 10s or impossible levels. Levels that were Xbotted include:

*Zodiac (Xanii has also beaten this level legitimately).
*Calculator Core
*Buffbath
*Unnerfed INNARDS
*Fragile
*VSC
*The Golden
*Bloodlust
*Slaughterhouse (Impossible) - Note that this is the old impossible version of the level, not the verified remake version.
*Exasperation (Impossible)
*Bloody Knuckles (Impossible)

And some more.

On May 30, 2021, Xanii also verified an Extreme Demon known as Sonic Wave Infinity, which, as the name implies, is a super-buffed rebirth of Sonic Wave. It was initially placed at #3 on the Demonlist on June 29, 2021, surprisingly considered easier than The Golden. (This has since been changed, with Sonic Wave Infinity now above The Golden).

Sonic Wave Infinity Rating
Sonic Wave Infinity rating
After Xanii verified Sonic Wave Infinity on May 30, 2021, he uploaded the level to his account the next day. The APTeam (who built the level) had previously stated that they wanted the level to go on their account. Several people sided with the APTeam as they believed that the creator of the level has the right to choose who uploads the level to which account. Some people sided with Xanii, believing that Xanii had the right to upload the level on his account as he had "worked so hard on verifying it".Cite This is also what Xanii himself believed, as supported by his comments stating he believes that he has the right to upload the level himself because of verifying it.Cite
After he verified Sonic Wave Infinity on 30 May 2021, a dispute arose regarding who should officially upload the level—Xanii, who verified it, or APTeam, as originally planned. Xanii argued for his right due to his verification efforts, but he faced criticism for disregarding APTeam's authority. Eventually, APTeam's version was rated, but the level was quickly unrated due to a crash trigger found in the final cube section—an old joke accidentally left in by Xanii. At first, Xanii took advantage of the situation by submitting his version without the trigger to ensure it received a rating instead of APTeam's version. However, he later recognised the immaturity of his actions and requested that his version be deleted to prevent any additional controversy. Zimnyte later addressed the issue on Twitter, promising to remove the trigger. Once resolved, the level was re-rated on 1 June 2021.

Xanii uploaded the level the day after verifying it. However, he removed it the next day due to the backlash Zimnyte had received and contacted an elder moderator to delete the level, ending the drama for the foreseeable future. The level was then uploaded on the APTeam's account (named APTeamOfficial in-game) and rated by RobTop. However, players discovered a secret trigger at the last memory cube (68-72%) located in the wrong path and crashing the player's game if they came into contact with its hitbox. Xanii added this as a joke months before verifying and forgot about it. Nevertheless, the level was quickly unrated. RobTop left the following comment:

"Unrated for intentional buggy trigger placement. Not cool man."Cite

Viprin also stated on Twitter regarding the crash trigger, saying:

"Sonic Wave Infinity has been unrated because of a trigger that crashes your game if you go the wrong way. This is unacceptable."Cite

Zimnyte, the host of APTeam, responded on Twitter that he had forgotten about the trigger and would remove it once he got back home, which he did, and fixed several different 60Hz bugs.Cite The level was then re-rated.

Silent Circles Verification
Silent Circles verification
On February 2, 2022, Zynvire, the host of Silent Circles, decided to kick the previous verifier Dolphy after Dolphy had spent nearly two years and over 145,000 attempts on the level, as he only had 70% and Zynvire wanted the level out faster. Zynvire then gave the level to Xanii. Unfortunately, neither Zynvire nor Dolphy rightly explained the situation to their respective communities, which caused anger in each of the communities. Additionally, Xanii’s version was more difficult than Dolphy’s version. This instance would cause further controversy, with Xanii wanting to nerf the level to make it more enjoyable and Zynvire wanting the level to remain as Top 1-difficulty. Xanii dropped Silent Circles and explained the situation in a Twitlonger posted on February 20. The verification passed to Cursed. Later, on April 21, 2022, the verification was handed back to Xanii by Zynvire in an extremely nerfed state, attempting to make the level more enjoyable and less inconsistent. On April 23, 2022, Xanii verified the level in its nerfed state.
On 2 February 2022, Zynvire kicked Dolphy as the verifier for his remake of Silent Circles because he aimed to speed up the level's verification, finding Dolphy's pace too slow. However, the lack of explanation surrounding Dolphy's replacement stirred anger among Dolphy's fans towards Zynvire. The verification then went to Xanii, who faced backlash from Dolphy's fanbase due to Zynvire's decision to replace Dolphy. Xanii eventually dropped the level due to disagreements with Zynvire over nerfs. The verification was then passed to Cursed but returned to Xanii on 21 April 2022, after significant nerfs by Zynvire, aligning with Xanii's initial requests. Xanii then verified the level in its nerfed form on 23 April 2022.

Xanii (formerly ItzBorg) is a Portuguese/American player and YouTube content creator. He gained notoriety in 2020 for showcasing various difficult levels using XBot, but his breakthrough came in early to mid 2021 when he verified the long-awaited Sonic Wave Infinity.[1] Since then, he has verified several projects such as Zynvire's Silent Circles remake[2] and beaten other tough levels like Tartarus[3] and LIMBO (his hardest Demon).[4] His current content showcases video highlights with fellow Geometry Dash players.

On 24 March 2026, Xanii reappeared and stated that he would be playing Geometry Dash again.[5] On his first comeback stream, he got in touch with the recent events, upcoming Top 1s, reacted to different levels and was generally amazed at how much the game has progressed and how many new things were happening ever since he left almost two years ago.

Controversies

[edit | edit source]

Sonic Wave Infinity rating

[edit | edit source]

After he verified Sonic Wave Infinity on 30 May 2021, a dispute arose regarding who should officially upload the level—Xanii, who verified it, or APTeam, as originally planned. Xanii argued for his right due to his verification efforts, but he faced criticism for disregarding APTeam's authority. Eventually, APTeam's version was rated, but the level was quickly unrated due to a crash trigger found in the final cube section—an old joke accidentally left in by Xanii.[6] At first, Xanii took advantage of the situation by submitting his version without the trigger to ensure it received a rating instead of APTeam's version.[7] However, he later recognised the immaturity of his actions and requested that his version be deleted to prevent any additional controversy.[8] Zimnyte later addressed the issue on Twitter, promising to remove the trigger.[9] Once resolved, the level was re-rated on 1 June 2021.[10]

Silent Circles verification

[edit | edit source]
