==Core mechanics==
The two actions performed by tapping either side of the screen are as follows:
*'''Player 1:''' Moves the player in the direction that they are currently facing.

The player starts with three hit points, lost upon contact with enemies and certain obstacles. Hitpoints are restored using save points, and additional hitpoints can be purchased through a shop in the starting area.

Speaking of save points, they can be found in various locations around the world. Rooms containing save points are marked with a green dot on the map (if the player collects the map) and as a circle on the ground next to a statue in-game. Touching one will generate a code based on the player's location and what they have done thus far.

There is a limit to how much time the player can spend on the level in one attempt. A timer in the lower-right corner of the screen counts down the player's remaining time. Messages will appear on the screen as it lowers, reminding the player to save. When the meter reaches one minute, it will count down in seconds, so the player will not get caught off guard when time is up.

When the game ends due to running out of time or dying, a black overlay drops down from the top of the screen, showing the player the code they must enter to return to the most recent save point.
